Physical Description
Archimedes has all the features of a common Barn Owl; white, heart shaped face, tawny brown feathers, long wings and talons, and brown eyes. Being old, and having seen his fair share of fights, Archimedes has a few scars here and there, the most prominent being one that looks like a stray brush stroke above his left eye.

Personality
Archimedes is, to put it plainly, a sarcastic ass. When questioned about the trivial issues of his occupation (such as filing taxes, managing expenses, proposing and revising budgets, etc.), he will usually reply with an offhanded and potentially aggravating comment. When his client(s) argue with him over his supposed poor performance in managing their money, he simply replies with, "And you think you could do better? Try to balance the budget of an imbecile who obviously has little to no formal education or common sense, while simultaneously filing the entire town's taxes correctly and in alphabetical order."

He does care about his clients and their financial situation, despite his sarcastic and seemingly narcissistic nature. If he thinks his client is making a poor decision financially, he'll advise them to take another route to meet that same goal. However, while he is helpful, and wouldn't really want harm to fall on anyone, he does hold grudges for a while, but not very long (It's usually only a couple of weeks before he calms down and drops the grudge).

Political Views
When he's not busy filing taxes or balancing budgets, Archimedes can usually be found debating and writing about politics. He is an avid supporter of democracy (an idea that seems utterly insane to nobility). Having spent a few years in Connlaoth, he has undoubtedly heard the teaching of Ansgar that "Every man has a voice to be heard"; he not only interpreted it as having a right to free speech, but also the right for every man that is a citizen of the country to vote and partake in government affairs.

His disdain of the nobility-run government system in many kingdoms is apparent in his rants writings, often noting that it is, by it's very nature, corrupt and evil. If it were up to him, Archimedes would have instituted a bicameral parliamentary democracy, with a house of officials appointed by the head of state and a house of commons elected directly by the public. In this way, both the nobles--the dukes, earls, counts, etc.--and the common folk would have representation in how their country was run. The king or ruling monarch would serve primarily as a figure head in Archimedes' system, with their primary duties to the state being that they would act as the head of the nation's military, and would also appoint officials to the House of Lords.
