STill giddy though tired after their long day, she was happy to see they were looking for Serling. Surely this meant it was time to retire. She yawned and stretched her limbs.
"Today was nice." She smiled and looked away, watching the colorful candles that lit the street for hte night time entertainers.
"This moment.. I dunno... it seems like one of those magical moments you read about it books." She stared up at the sky, watching a few magic-balloons float up towards the moon.

The Never King- a king erased from history because of his dabblings in dark magic (among other things...) suddenly because a present day problem when an unlikely group of adventurers 'awakens' him from the grave. Blinking she turned to him. Smiling? She always smiled, what did he mean? Perhaps she hadn't realize most ofher smiles had been faked and well practiced. Now that she was feeling more comfortable around her company, her smiles, indeed, were much warmer.

She then wrinkled her nose at him.

She blinked, and just watched him leave.
"Mashed... bananas?" She shook her head, smiling a little as she didn't understand what he meant. Though perhaps he was trying to be unconventional, silly. She shrugged it off, whatever it was, and made her way back to her room. Finding a new book to read amongst her things, she read just a few pages before falling asleep, book draped across her chest.

Caelwyn heard that scream, and groggily awoke.  Serling emerged into his room.  "What the hell was that?"

Caelwyn shrugged.  "Miss Longfellow screaming over something I imagine.  I need my coffee."

Serling did a double take.  "Well! Go see what's wrong!"

"Me? Why?" 

"Caelwyn!"

He sighed, grabbing his shirt.  "Fine!  But you better have my coffee ready."  And went to investigate.
