Occasionally she'll do drawings for others, but her art skills are not something well advertised though she had done a self portrait of herself for her ex- husband Tenran, and she had done a drawing of him- which she keeps folded up in storage beneath her bed.

__________________IN-DEPTH STUFFPhysical Description Short, thin- but beautiful. Some even say she comes off appearing frail, but don't let that fool you- she is a tough and resourceful girl. She's aging wtih grace, only a few delicate lines around her eyes, though the years sometimes make her appear washed out ifs he let's herself go.
She's got blonde hair that can't decide if it wants to be straight or curly, and often times can appear a frizzy mess. On days it becomes unbearable, she simply pulls it up or wears her hair in a loose tail. She also as cool grey-blue eyes, thin lips and a strong face.
She'll wear dresses around the home- just simple things but when going out hiking or surveying terrain, she will wear men's clothing- sometimes even some of her ex's clothign she just so happens to have that are thoroughly worn.
Since she does a lot of work with ink, a lot of her clothing or skin can sometimes be seen stained.
PersonalityHead strong, impatient, sometimes impractical, restless and fatigued. Liana has gone through a lot in her life- and isn't necessarily one to make good choices, in fact, it's one big flaw she has- making choices and commitments. She has yet to shed the impatience of her youth, and sometimes her childishness becomes her own down fall. She had always leaned on her first husband for support and once the fighting became too much to bear and the divorce happened, she has yet to know how to deal with the new emptiness in her life. She always blamed herself for their failed marriage- not him, for despite his own tempered and soured disposition, she always wanted to believe she could fix it and when she failed at that- a part of her died with it and she lives in a sort of hollowed shell of her former self- not knowing what she wants to do with her life with how it stands now. All she knows is she isn't happy and the war in Connlaoth is only making it worse. She was never a fan of the military, after all - not after all her ex-husband had gone through.

HistoryHead strong, impatient, sometimes impractical, restless and fatigued (as she always works herself up to the point at times she became incredibly tired/ depressed) This is normally because she thinks too much and is a very anxious person, which had gotten worse in the past few years.
But.... Liana has gone through a lot in her life- having been rescued in her youth by her first husband- (though they had since been divorced after a ten year marriage), but remain as close as they ever been- even if she rarely sees him these days- which, ironically, has made her heart grown fonder for him- not that she'd admit it. It was not meant to be, but she still finds herself thinking about him more often than not, for Tenran was the first person she could really call a close friend- and was the first person she truly ever loved and trusted. Ironically, even she had trouble opening up to him all the time and would close up after some of their more terrible fights they'd have and with draw within herself.
Soon after they'd mutually agreed to a divorce (as the arguments just became too much) she found herself quick to rebound into another relationship and was engaged within the first month she met the man. His name was Reese Chestin- a family of apple farmers in the valley. One thing that drew her to her new lover was he was an anti-soldier, and not as depressing as her former husband- in fact, her new fiance hardly seemed to have a care in the world- which appealed to her greatly and was like a breath of fresh air. His smiles made her smiles- which was much needed in a time when she had thought she had forgotten how to smile- though as their wedding day draws closer- she begins to wonder if she's marrying him out of love- or as just a means to hide away what is still broken inside her from her first love.
And to complicate matters more, her husband to be had recently joined the he army promptly after receiving news his younger brother was killed in a rogue mage attack while traveling between cities. Wanting to protest this foolishness so badly, she found herself biting her tongue and letting her fiance do as he must- though seeing his wife's discontentment, he decided they should make their wedding date sooner rather than later- but before anything could be arranged, he was deployed and now she anxiously waits to read his letters to hear any news from him- and all the while he is gone,s he finds herself throwing herself back at her ex-husband unwittingly.
Recently, her fiance's elder brother Grattis had approached her, offering her a place to stay at his family's orchard during his brother's deployment. Though during his visit to make this offer, Liana had received a most unpleasant letter from Reese that made her take to drinking that evening and in her moment of weakness, she had a break down and opened up to Grattis- and during her state of vulnerability, they had sex. It was in this moment he confessed his true feelings for her- that he's in love with her- and has been ever since his brother first introduced him to her.
Unfortunately, she was never in love with him- even after they had slept together and now she awkwardly skirts around giving him any real answers, but he has yet to cease on his advances- that of which make her even more stiff around him (Grattis is a married man, after all!).
They had parted ways awkwardly- considering she declined his invitation to stay at his place- after all.. it would be awkward considering what just occured- and he was sitll married iwth children, after all...
And she well...
She did not want to get involved with him in that way- but ever since they had slept together, Grattis has written to her every night ever since. She burns each one of them after she reads them- finding herself growing so angered both with him- and herself- and has since stopped reading them at all and simply throws them in the fire when they arrive.
But now money is growing tight, and she's finding herself more or less without a choice- and finally, she forced herself to pen a letter to Grattis, telling him that yes- she would be coming to stay at his orchard- even as her stomach twisted into a sickeningly tight knot at the thought.
She's now torn with so many decisions in her life that she's taking up to drinking and if she can afford it- smoking.
But even now, after already sending off the letter.. it eats away at her:
Does she move in with her soon to be brother in law and have to deal with his amorous gazes and potential advances while he's still married- or does she try to scrape by in her own home while awaiting her fiance to return home from war- all the while she still confides with and shares a bed on occasion with her ex-husband?
