@Saber-Five
It had been a quiet few months, ever since the Connlaoth Civil War began. There was little activity for the Commander to tend to other than paper work. Adela was doing well over the past few months, nothing too out of the ordinary. It bored him. John Loghaine was used to the field of battle. Standing on the front lines, fighting side by side with his men. Now his duty required that he stayed at home in the Castle, making sure that everything went smoothly.

Now the Commander stood in the training quarters in the Castles' Courtyard in full armor. Head to toe, the man was dressed pure red and gold. Two massive horns extended from his helm as he looked down to the trainee before him. In his hands he wielded a massive Bidenhander, with a blood red blade and a golden hilt. It was pointing at a young Knight infant of him.

"Now, Sir Rubin, come at me with everything you've got. No holding back."

Having returned from fighting a brief rebellion in the Thunderbacks, Rubin Morrell was actually grateful  to have returned to the capital. He was back into General Longhaine's service, which was good in his personal opinion. Deck out in gray plated armor, armed with sword and shield, he remained in his fight stance, until Longhaine called for him to strike and not hold back.

"As you wish General." He answered before charging at the towering commander in ruthless speed. Using his left handed shield as cover, Rubin slashed sideways, aiming for the general's upper body area from the right angle.

The Commander turned to his right side, and swung his mighty Bidenhander downward to parry Rubin's blow. A light sizzling could be heard at this time. The mighty sword, Wildfire, burned into the young Knight's blade turning it red hot. A confident smirk grew on the Commanders' face, he then lifted his left foot and side-kicked it into Rubin's shield, hopefully pushing the Knight back.

Still got it...

"C'mon you're going to let an old man push you around like that?" Loghaine adjusted his stance, and prepared for the next blow.
