She rested her hands on one of Merradin's talons before he took off, smiling softly as he did. She remained silent during the travel.

And even to a dragon, she was light. A true featherweight. Normally, he'd at least feel a hint of a normal human's weight. But Valia was even lighter. It was like she wasn't standing in his claw at all.

DaGlobster

Merradin didn't feel the difference. If he was a mere adult, perhaps, but Merradin was ancient and massive, and a normal human might as well have weighed as much as a feather to him regardless.

It was a decently long flight back to his hoard, mostly because he didn't want to go too fast and possibly hurt his charge.

they came to see one of the larger peaks of the Thunderblacks, surrounded by a roiling lightning storm that would no doubt kill anybody trying to climb to the top. Merradin flew just above the peak and dove down, passing harmlessly through the storm and falling for a few seconds more. He spread his wings and came to a stop.

They had gone through a large hole at the peak of the mountain, hidden by the storm and the mountain's altitude. For now, they were in a snowed-out chamber, but it was clear that there was a tunnel to the rest of the cave ahead of them.

Merradin landed, and set his claw down so Valia could get off.

Medievarad

[talking OOC IC much. xD]

Perhaps he didn't, but fact remained that she was as light as a flame.

Valia didn't mind the long flight, for she enjoyed feeling the wind on her face, long blonde hairs trailing behind her as they were picked up by the wind.

The weather around the peak, she heard the rumbling of thunder and the cracking of lightning. And frowned slowly, looking at it directly to find out whether this storm was natural, rather than called upon by arcane arts.

But regardless, as Merradin landed and set his claw down, Valia stepped down, turning around to get a good 'look' at the place through her clairvoyance, smiling softly.

DaGlobster

"This is just the entrance, nothing too spectacular here," Merradin said, smiling and taking a few steps forwards. He closed his eyes, and in a whirling flash of dark clouds and lightning, he assumed his human form.

He held his hand out to her.

"Shall we?"

Medievarad

Valia felt the sudden reverbaration in his presence as he attained his more compact human form, he smiled softly and accepted his hand with a curt nod. "Lead the way," she answered.

DaGlobster

Merradin took her hand quite tenderly, holding it and walking slow so she could keep a comfortable pace.

He was mostly human at the moment, the only thing giving him away was his horns. He was wearing what appeared to be a relaxed sapphire colored bathrobe that seemed to glimmer subtly. He wore it loosely tied, so that if Valia could see his physique and form, she'd definitely get an eyeful.

Merradin wasn't really trying to hide the fact that he found her attractive.

Medievarad

The fire elemental followed him into his lair, head tilting and turning occasionally.

Even if Valia could see his physique properly, to her he was just a colorful presence through her clairvoyance, she wouldn't be phased by the fact that he was very loosely clad, or attracted to her. She was timeless, a presence at the day of creation. Partial or full nudity. It didn't phase her in the slightest.

DaGlobster

Merradin was a playboy at heart, so he continued to hold Valia's hands. They stepped into a larger cavern, and it opened up into a massive chamber. The cavern beneath them expanded into a veritable ocean of treasure. Not only that, but there seemed to be a house at the center of it all. Raised above the ocean of treasure and gold.

It was small, obviously only enough to support one or two people, but it was lavish. Merradin conjured his wings and he started hovering them down to the house.

"Can you see my hoard?" he asked.

Medievarad

Valia didn't mind the hand holding. It was a friendly gesture in her eyes, since she couldn't see properly and it allowed her to tune down her clairvoyance at least a little.

She was picked up just like that and taken to the house. When Merradin posed the question, he could feel the shift in her arcane presence. She activated her clairvoyance to it's full potential. "Yes, I can,' she answered with a soft smile, a dim, white glow coming from underneath the band in front of her eyes.

DaGlobster

Oh, good! Merradin didn't see how such a random question from him could be interpreted as odd. He was a dragon, and dragons were known for how proud they were of their treasure piles. Indeed, he believed that if she saw his wealth, she'd be more inclined to be attracted to him.

He continued to hold her hand as he moved towards the door of his small-but-lavish home. It was rather an oddity for a dragon to not sleep on his hoard, but the way Merradin saw it, he was! the home sat above his hoard, and after he'd spent a night in a human bed many centuries ago, he couldn't go back to sleeping on a pile of hard coins.

"Do you often find yourself in the company of dragons, Valia?"

Medievarad

"More often than most mortals," Valia replied with a soft nod. "They hath the desire to flock to me, sometimes, given my being to them," she explained easily.

It was indeed strange the dragon decided to sleep in a house, rather than ontop of his hoard like most dragons. And it led her to wonder. Did he build the house here? Or snatched it with his claws from somewhere? The latter was quite amusing to imagine.

But nonetheless, she was guided by his hand on hers, following his guidance.

DaGlobster

Indeed, it was a lavish little house, and Merradin beamed as he led her through it.

"Care for a drink?"

Medievarad

"I wouldn't mind at all, Dragon-kin," she answered with a soft smile.

DaGlobster

The overall layout of the house was as such:

The small entry hallway he'd led her to pretty much opened up to a room with a large, brass bathbasin, large enough to hold three people and kept perpetually hot and bubbling with magic. After that, a wall with an archway led into a combination of a lavish bedchamber and a living room, complete with a magical fireplace, a plush two-seater chair in front of it, a nearly-full bookshelf that took up an entire wall, and a small table. The other side of the room had a bed, a dresser, and a night table.

Since Meradin needed no storage or bathroom, the bathbasin and the living chambers were the only two rooms in the small house, so they were quite spacious without being too immense.

Merradin stopped with the two of them under the living chamber's entrance arch. He gazed at her hand, marveling at how perfect her skin was. He looked back up to her face.

"Wine?"

Medievarad

Valia was led through the hells, her senses extended far and wide thriugh clairvoyance, allowing her to see even more than one's eyes could provide. For the arcane eye was far more powerful. The smallest detail, tmevery nook and cranny of the rooms Merradin led her through and every whiff of magic was thoroughly examined and repembered.

She glanced up at his face, nodding. "Wine sounds fine," she answered with a soft smile.

DaGlobster

Indeed, the lavish home was built by magic and furnished by select treasures from his hoard. He walked her to the two-seater, and motioned to it.

"If you'll wait a moment," Merradin said politely, and he went off to his night table, opening a cabinet on it to reveal a small wine rack.

He picked out a nice white wine and returned with the bottle in one hand and two glasses held by the stem.

"Ever meet a dragon who lived in a house before?" He said, still feeling a little boast-ish.

Medievarad

As she had suspected beforehand, but it did not matter. Though the thought of a large dragon scooping up an entire house was still an amusing one.

She only gave him a soft nod with a gentle smile as he asked her to wait. The seat she had was cofmortable, very comfortable if compared by hard rocks and boulders she normally sat on. For days on end.

She looked up as the lightning dragon returned, smiling. "Alas, Dragonkin. I hath not. Thou areth unique in said regard," she answered with a soft chuckle.

DaGlobster

Another small ego boost, and Merradin sat down with her, pouring them both a glass and holding out hers.

Once she took it, he'd sit in a way that put his arm around her shoulders.

Medievarad

Valia took the wine, holding the glass with both her hands. "Thanks," she said with another gentle smile. The fire elemental seemed to be rather unphased by the arm around her shoulders, she didn't mind at all and thought it was just Merradin being friendly.

DaGlobster

"So," Merradin started, and he took a sip from his glass.

"What brings you to these parts?"
