Titanol hissed at Shadow.

Titanol: The question was directed at me, dumbass.

Balefire snickered at Titanol's comment. Titanol leaned over to look at Samari's face.

Titanol: What?

Anonymous

Samari could have sworn that he felt warm breath on his face when the dark figure leaned down to ask it's question. Ew.

No, he couldn't focus on breath in his face now, there were more important obstacles to tackle. He had attention and he had to use it. He swallowed dryly and tilted his head to what he hoped was the person's ear. "I...I need... blood."

Anonymous

Shadow: So, uh, what did he say?

Anonymous

Titanol: None of your business.

He leaned down again.

Titanol: Anybody in particular's?

Balefire began speaking to Oris again.

Balefire: Well, I don't know how Titanol met Shadow. Nobody really cares.

Anonymous

Oris spared a pitiful look at Shadow. He kept getting told to shut up and it didn't seem like Balefire liked him too much. Poor guy. He didn't look too long since he was over at the bed. "So you met Shadow through Titanol," he nodded. "I'm curious... are you and Samari of the same race? You have some similar traits."

For a moment Samari wondered if he had enough gusto just to rear up and bite this person. That moment ended with the rational part of his brain reminding him that while he'd get his blood he probably wouldn't walk out of the hotel room in one peice if he launched a surprise attack on someone. No stolen meals for him today, at least from this group.

Besides, they were all males. A male's blood was like tap water compared to a females' blood's red wine. But, he also couldn't be picky, he'd taken to drinking zombie's blood afterall and that stuff was awful to take down. Blood was blood, he just had to get it without assaulting someone in the room. He shook his head side to side.

Shadow: So, Oris, how did you and Samari meet?

Anonymous

Titanol: Oh, that'll be a fun story.

Titanol pondered a moment. He had been bitten by vampires before. That always seemed to happen at the kind of parties he went to. And besides, he wasn't gonna volunteer anyone else, because he didn't want Balefire or Shadow getting bitten. And he didn't know the clueless man. Getting bitten might overload his mind. Titanol sat back up and stuck his wrist up to Samari's mouth.

Titanol: It's not an all-you-can-eat buffet, though. Keep that in mind. I can kick your ass.

Oris shrank a little at Shadow's question. Well, as far as questions went he could have asked worse... "I was walking down an alley and Samari, Samari ran into me... twice. He was drunk, had a big head wound and said someone was chasing him down so I helped him here and watched over him so the person following him wouldn't hurt him."

If Samari had the energy he would have jumped for joy when something was held down to his mouth. Blood, he was going to get some blood... and hopefully it wouldn't be tainted like the last drink he had. Samari leaned up a little and licked the offered part, which turned out to be a wrist, he tilted his head up a little further and pressed his fangs into the skin intill blood began flowing into them.

Anonymous

Shadow: He ran into you twice? How drunk do you have to be to run into the same person twice?

Anonymous

Titanol winced a little bit when the teeth first sunk in, but he got over it quick. He moved a little so that Balefire wouldn't see what he was doing and start freaking out.

Anonymous

Oris nodded, yes Samari ran into him twice, it seemed a little odd to him when it happened. Before he thought you ran into a person and when you got back up you had enough sense to know where they were. "I don't know, he drunk enough to make him sick. I woke up seeing him doubled over at the windowsill."

Samari sighed blissfully on the inside as he felt the blood coursing through his fangs. It wasn't human or elven blood, but hells it slaked his thirst well enough. He drank for 35-40 seconds before pulling his teeth out of the pale (now that he had a little blood he could see in color) wrist and licked the little puncture wounds to get any blood that leaked from them once he pulled away. Back when he was alive he read something about vampires being able to heal wounds with their spit, but either the person who wrote that was misinformed or he just wasn't that type of vampire. Then again, he also read that going out into the sunlight turns a vampire into a crispy critter, mortals didn't seem to know anything about vampires...

He brushed that thought away and stopped licking the wrist when he realized something else. What if Oris was helping him out again? He sighed, hoping that the man would be as clueless about this incident as he had about escorting him to this room. Samari sat up and looked at the owner of the wrist. And his eyes widened, his upper lip and eyebrow twitching in a rather amusing fashion.

Titanol. It was Titanol that gave him his wrist.

Samari suddenly felt quite awkward...

Anonymous

Shadow: What do you mean, "when you woke up?" What were you two doing that you had to go to sleep afterwards?

Anonymous

Titanol looked down at Samari and smiled warmly.

Titanol: In case you're wondering why I helped you, I can't be mean to a weakened person. You're okay now, though.

And on that note, Titanol nonchalantly pushed Samari off the bed.

Anonymous

Oris tilted his head and raised an eyebrow. "We weren't doing anything, he was sleeping about where he is now and it was a while since I had any sleep, so I nodded off."

Something about Titanol's smile sent warning bells off in Samari's mind. There was something about that smile... Maybe... He said he couldn't be mean to a weakened person...

"Myah!!" Samari yelped as he went sliding off the bed. He pushed himself off the ground and scowled at Titanol.

Anonymous

Shadow: Titanol, what'd you do that for?

Anonymous

Titanol: 'Cause it was fun. Besides, I did something nice, too! So ya see, they negated each other, and it's okay.

Balefire gave Titanol a look.

Titanol: Oh, okay. Jesus, sorry Mom.

Titanol offered his hand to Samari to help him up.

Titanol: I won't drop you. I'll try to be civil. Just don't do anything that will force me to insult or otherwise diss you.

Anonymous

Oris raised his eyebrow up a little further. So Samari was alright, and didn't need any help. Good. If he could help it he'd try not to send out anymore unconscious innuendos. He tightened the ribbon holding his ponytail and leaned back a little, content in not taking part in the room's main source of attention.

Samari scowled a little more. His butt was starting to get sore... wasn't it supposed to absorb impacts? It wasn't doing a very good job, instead it seemed to have more to get hurt. He could have healed the damage easily, but held off from doing so. It was too minor, and he could use the dollop of blood that would heal it for other uses. Like staying 'alive' until he had enough to heal minor annoyances. The soreness was also good fuel for his scowl.

When Titanol offered his hand, Samari stared warily at it for a couple seconds before putting his scowl on the back burner. He could play at this civil game too, hmmm perhaps he could outlast this one in doing so. The idea amused him. He reached a hand up and grabbed Titanol's, keeping his strength at a minimum to keep from squeezing his hand too hard. The motion was graceful, one that a ballet dancer would live in a dumpster and eat garbage for a year to be able to do.

Anonymous

Shadow: Well, it's good to see that you to are being nice to each other for a change.
(under his breath): I wonder how long that's last?

Anonymous

Balefire: Not long.

Titanol glared at him and hissed.

Titanol *under breath at Balefire*: Ashole.

Balefire: See? He's already not being civil.

Titanol: Hey, I don't have to be civil to you! Being the uke in our relationship means that I, at any time, can deny you sex, for any reason. So ha!

Anonymous

Samari pretended not to hear Shadow, Titanol and Balefire talking about how long the civilities would last. He saw his hairclip as he pulled himself off the ground and ducked down to pick it up. Now that he had the damn thing he could go back to fussing with his hair. He held the clip in his mouth and walked to the window, clawed his hair up into a high bun and secured the clip around it. Once all the hair was up he brushed the sides to check for any loose bits. They were inevitable, damn them, but at least he could get up any that were very obvious.

Oris, however, was intrigued by the little conversation. He nodded after Shadow's bit about Samari and Titanol getting along and leaned forward to hear the rest of the conversation. Titanol's statement at the end was really interesting. Well, one word of it was at least. "Uke?" he parroted, raising an eyebrow a little.
