6. History
It began with an archery competition, which lead to a battle against a giant. It was then the band truly began, soon this band took job after job, with the men growing closer with each job. Soon, Gerwen learned of his twin brother's existence, and left on his own, but his company won't let him. They formed a pack of brotherhood, and went on a journey to find Gerwen's brother. They found Ostwin and the remnants of his crossbow regiment. That regiment was disbanded after its last battle, many of the men had nowhere to go after the disbandment, they had little skill but fighting. So Gerwen had a solution, and that was to allow the crossbowmen to join his company. Initially, things were tense in the group with the additional of the crossbowmen, as many of them, there were many differences, racially, tactically, and even habits that almost tore the group apart, had it not been for both brothers holding their men back. However, all this was forgotten when they happened upon a group of brigands that had captured a great eagle. None of the mercenaries had any incentive to free the eagle, but all silently knew that they could just not stand by. Lead by both brothers, an epic battle ensued, where both archers and crossbowmen utilized their weapons to help free this great eagle with great feats of camaraderie shown by everyone involved. When the battle was over, the men were not wholly trusting of each other, but it was enough to push them onto the path. Besides, they gained a powerful ally, a young great eagle who too looked for adventure. The eagle would go on to become the band's mascot, who renamed themselves to the Death Eagles. From then on, the band would go on many more adventures, and gain much attention as one of the best archers of the land.

Standard: A flag with a green inner body and yellow outline with the picture of an eagle in the middle welding in each claw a bow and a crossbow. It's carried by a dedicated standard-barrier, who wears a blue feathers, and is often used as a rally point for the company. The flag is said to be imbued with magical powers that could make all those who serve under it fearless, especially the one who bears it. Though it is only a myth made up to inspire the men.
Musician- A trumpeter, usually stays with the captain and has the captain's back, the trumpter usually wears yellow feathers. Each member is equipped with a hunting horn for communication, but the trumpeter gives the general orders. While the standard bearers' job is be a rally point for the men, the trumpeter's little ability depends on what song he plays. A soothing song could steady and calm the men, boosting their accuracy. A more vigorous song could rally the men, causing them to fire faster.
Motto: "Loose! Then run!'
