Physical Description:
TJ is a large, dark skinned man in his early twenties. He wears his curly black hair in dreadlocks, and sports a fairly long goatee. He wears a short, tattered robe that was white at some point, but is now a gross ivory color. His belt has a comically large brass buckle.

TJ carries maps, parchment, quills, and ink with him at all times. He has no weapons- both due to a lack of training, and because of the Meeting Place's odd rules that keep those without weapons from coming to harm.

Personality:
TJ is a really nice guy! He enjoys making friends, and goes out of his way to help people when he can. He's very excitable, and can be a bit of a chatterbox at times. He has a terrible poker face, and couldn't tell a lie to save his life.

Deep down however, TJ is depressed. He didn't want to fix portals for a living, only taking the job because he seemingly the only person in Le'raana who can do it. He often daydreams of having a more exciting life, though he knows that dream will never become a reality.

Relationships:
TJ's parents are traditionalists, and he's distanced himself from them due to differences in opinion.

TJ loves dragons. Having spent the majority of his childhood living in Adela, TJ spent his childhood dreaming of becoming a dragon rider. However, when he came of age his parents wouldn't let him. "It's not our culture." is what his father told him. "We'll get you a. Essyrni dragon when we finally return home." his mother promised. TJ was devastated, but he followed his parent's wishes. When he returned to Essyrn with his parents six years later, he was more than disappointed with the dragons there- Kaadir cannot fly, nor can they talk. He ended up rejecting them outright on the premise that "They're not real dragons."

Magic/Abilities:
TJ's power is an odd one. His magic manifests itself as a touchscreen of sorts, and when in close proximity to one of the portals to the Meeting Place it allows TJ to modify it's properties. As the meeting points are fragile and often glitch, this makes TJ invaluable- he's the only person in Le'raana who can fix them.

History:
TJ did not want this job.

Since he was nine years old, TJ knew that he could create a magical screen in he concentrated harn enough. Nothing ever appeared on the screen, and his parents wrote it off as fate choosing to give TJ a useless ability. Undeterred, TJ held out hope that the power would turn out to do something cool...

Boy, was he ever wrong.

It was a complete coincidence that caused TJ to use his power while in the vicinity of a meeting point. When he saw the screen go from blank to full of ancient runes, his heart jumped... Then it fell back down. Was this it? Was messing with the portals nobody seemed to use all he could do? Dejected, TJ decided that he may as well try to do something with this newfound ability. He's currently trying to map out where all of the portals are- maybe if he does, he'll get to be a footnote in some history book somewhere.

Yeah right. Like that would ever happen.
