I checked out Ashton's profile earlier. It said that now he's traveling the world, so I decided to look at my menagerie from the perspective of what/who would be interesting to see or interact with. I came up with following ideas:
- There is a wonderful Palace of Fortune in Essyrn, where all kinds of games of chance are held. It's not exactly called a casino, since the word itself has Italian roots, and the language doesn't exist at SotE the way it does on Earth, but its function remains the same! It's ran by
a guy with more money than common sense and is an exciting place to lose all of one's money- I mean, make a fortune!
- Also in Essyrn, I have
another one who works in a bar and has a part time job as a guide showing new arrivals around. He'll make sure Ashton doesn't get pickpocketed :>
- As for other interesting people to meet, I have a
lizard girl who's being worshipped as a goddess in an Adelan village. She's a spoiled idiot, but I think getting a visit from a vampire would flatter her so she wouldn't act shitty.
- Zantaric is a wretched hive of scum and villainy, but there is
one being you can always count on! She may be the size of a modest hat, but she will help you fight off any evildoers!
- Far to the north of Hyoite at its somber horizon looms the Mistfloe glacier. Its west wall holds the castle of Gravenhall, a tomb of ice and melodies. The chambers of Gravenhall are haunted by a
harbinger of wind of cold. While bound to Gravenhall, he was also noted to have appeared in other regions of Hyoite, and seems friendly to travelers and passers-by.
