Relatively tall with skin on the darker side of what is typical for a Serenian, Jeanette's most striking feature is her hair. Silky waves trail down her back, half fiery red and half icy white. She tells a different story as to how this happened, and no one seems to know the actual truth of it. Her eyes rank second with their blue-green jade coloration. She is typically Serenian in most other ways, having a relatively slender build with delicate features though broader shoulders than one might expect.

Though she adores dressing lavishly and showing off the cavalcade of styles she's learned about, Jeanette tones down her wardrobe among nobility. This apparent act of humility is in fact tactical, as not threatening their status as the best dressed person in the room tends to leave them more pliable and open to her subtler machinations.

Personality

Jeanette is a woman fueled by a love for her craft, an appreciation for experiences foreign to her own, and no small amount of spite. She revels in the fame and prestige that her work earns her and gets no small amount of hedonistic glee in worming her way into high society through her work as a designer and loves prodding those who have wronged her through these social connections. A slight against Jeanette will almost never result in direct retaliation from her specifically, but some seemingly unconnected misfortune or ire from one of her wealthy patrons some months down the line.

Magic/Abilities

Jeanette's main claim to fame is her ability to weave magic into the very fabric she sews. This can produce any number of effects in theory, provided she has the correct reagents and if neccessary access to a mage more knowledgeable in the specific kind of enchantment. Primarily she uses these to make her already fabulous fashion even more ostentatious, but can be called upon for more specific clothing enchantments. Provided you can pay, of course.

Relationships

History

Despite only claiming her Serenian heritage, Jeanette is in fact half-Adelan. Taken to meet her father when she was a child, she and her mother were horrified by his aggressive refusal to acknowledge her as his daughter. Though she has not seen him since that encounter, it sparked an anger in her that she doubts will ever be fully quenched.

Though coming from relatively number beginnings, she made a name for herself when she learned how to enchant thread and fabric. From there, the competitive nature of the Serenian fashion scene saw her rising through the ranks and becoming a household name in the upper echelons of Serenian society.

The death of he mother, though weighing heavily on her, also allowed Jeanette to leave their home in Summervale and move to Arca, where her designs were beginning to come into demand. Here she has gotten a taste of the true good life and the intrigue and societal backstabbing that mingling with nobility entails.
