First and foremost, naturally: Hello, everyone! I'm Jesse (for those that give a fart towards real names on an RP forum), or Gedanke if you prefer the screen nameâ€"whichever you dig.
My real name might be a point given little import, considering the mask of internet screen names, and character portrayal that occurs on an RP forum. Nonetheless, I prefer real names whenever appropriate, unobtrusive and unpresumptuousâ€"in essence when such a familiarity is warranted and granted.
What else... Ah yes...
I'm maleâ€"not that truly matters anyway, right? I’m twenty-years-old for what it’s worth, and I’m not sure if that’s bound to be young, old, or somewhere in the middle here. Not that that matters, either, I suppose. I frequent RP forums as I enjoy (creative) writing, and of course RP boards make for a perfect outlet for that.
If already reading this, you begin to find my behaviour strange and oddâ€"eccentric, evenâ€"you're not incorrect in believing so. I'll go so far as to freely admit that I'm a weirdo, but a harmless and loveable (perhaps wishful thinking, however) one.
So, yes, I am what many would call strange. But at least I genuinely and sincerely believe myself to be quite easy to get along with. Or at least I *hope* so to some degree. But who doesn't?
But, of course, I'll leave that up for each and every one of you reading this to decide for yourselves.
Moving on... that's right, it just keeps on goingâ€"rather reminiscent of the energizer bunny, I would imagine. Albeit, perhaps not as repetitive in action, and not so pink, furry and cute. (And anyone that has some sly remark about a guy calling the energizer bunny cute can stuff it. It's a lovable mascot, damn it! And I have no shame in admitting such a fact.)
I've read through a few things here and there on this site, and immediately thereafter I found myself quite intrigued; hooked, you could say. Without a doubt I'll be joining this site, and participating whole-heartedly. Who wouldn't after writing, as a whole, such a pointless and extended introduction?
Beyond that, I merely need to continue to read through items of interest (translation: I still need to read through a lot). Important information, and all that jazz, and enough stuff to hopefully make up my mind as to what sort of first character to create. Afterward, the process of character creation will occur, of course. I’m still not sure about a potential character as of yet. I'll poke around the site for info, and maybe some inspiration probably.
Anyway, I should bring this to a close. To anyone who read through this, sparing not a paragraph, not a sentence, not even a word: I give you my heart-felt thanks at actually managing to read through my incessant rambling. Be forewarned, I ramble a lot, too; I’m usually full of plenty to say, for good or bad.
Perhaps I'll get to know each and every one of you in the time to come. Or at least those of you that wouldn't mind getting to know, or at least conversing, with a playfully deranged individual as myself.
Oh, as for the title of the thread, despite what you may think, I am not a pirate or a sailor.
