Physical Description Vivian is a lanky young man just coming into his own. He is quite feminine in build, being narrow and long of limb, and this isn't helped by the generous application of makeup around his eyes or his outrageous style of dress. Frankly, the only thing that marks him as male at first glance is the fact that he is rarely found wearing a shirt no matter how cold it is.
His tousled blonde hair is often dyed black or stripped down to white, depending on his mood, but is always kept short save for a meticulously groomed forelock. Appearances are quite important to Vivian, and he strives to maintain cleanliness at all costs. He has a unique talent for making the strangest of outfits work to his physique, likely out of necessity rather than genuine creativity.
Personality Vivian is sarcastic and cutting, always on the defense with those he doesn't know. He is best described as an indolent cat; never one to obey unless in the mood, always with a disapproving look, and only accepts affection on his own terms. He always believes others to be either taking advantage of him for his looks or his wits, and never takes anything at face value. If nothing else he is a suspicious creature who has experienced far too much of the world in his short time on it to trust anything in it. It takes a patient hand to earn his trust...if he doesn't rob you blind first.

History
Vivian was born to a prostitute in the slums of Connlaoth's main city. His mother didn't know his sire was a mage at the time, nor was she aware of his intentions to illegally pass on his genes. When Vivian was born, he was allowed to stay in the brothel as long as he was able to earn his keep. As a child he did laundry, changed bedsheets, swept out fireplaces, and fetched herbs for the girls in the brothel. He was strictly forbidden to do magic, with both the girls and madam afraid of what would happen if Vivian was discovered.
Despite this, Vivian practiced his talents privately. He has a keen awareness of animal life, particularly insects and other bugs, and interacted with them closely. His first imprint was on a flea, a common dog flea, that gave him the ability to use her formidable carapace. Vivian only used his magic to spy on the other girls in the brothel, crawling around as an animal the size of a pinhead in order to explore the world through different eyes.
As he aged, he began work as a catamite, earning his coin on his back. While normal gender roles are enforced in the city, Vivian twisted it to his advantage. Gay men seeking refuge from a life at home could satisfy themselves with him, reassured by Vivian's feminine wiles that they were only bending the law, not breaking it.
All things do come to an end, and after a client murdered his mother Vivian took to the streets. He survives there now, hoping to track down his sire and learn more about the strange power he has inherited.
