@Draco Ketra was hardly the most beautiful city Celesti had ever seen, but it would always hold a special place in her heart. Over the course of her lifetime she had spent more than her fair share of time there, having grown up there as a child and having made sure to visit fairly regularly since her father's death. It had been a while since her last visit though, but from what she had seen the people were still as lively as she remembered them.
Her stay in the capital had been a fairly quiet and uneventful one so far, but that had been by design. She had never been of drawing more attention to herself than necessary, and since her visit was meant to be a purely recreational one she saw no need to do so. Plus she had always enjoyed seeing the city operate as it normally did, and she knew firsthand that that rarely was the case when anyone of nobility was walking through.
So she'd had Feyth drop her off well outside of the city limits so no one would see her, and she had entered through the gates dressed in a simple tunic meant to blend in with the crowd. She had also given her butterflies a mental suggestion to remain perched in her hair and hoped that no one noticed them. Fortunately they were mostly transparent in the sunlight so they weren't too noticeable at a glance. She just hoped no one would look at her long enough to make them out. They had given her identity away more times than she could remember...
As midday approached she would eventually find herself walking through the market, looking at all of the different shops and stalls set up there. There were a large variety vendors who were selling everything from food to clothing, but it was a particular small bakery that Celesti most interested in. The bakery had been there since she was a child, and while the original owner had long since passed his descendents had kept both the business and his recipes alive since. She had always been especially fond of their honey dipped sweet buns and always made it a point to buy some whenever she was in town.
As she neared the bakery however she had caught sight of a small group of soldiers walking in her direction, which was just great... Fortunately they didn't seem to have noticed her, but the chance was always there that one of them might and recognize her. So she casually turned her head to change direction only to brush her face against a dark bundle of feathers.
"Oh, I'm sorry," she apologized once she realized that the 'bundle' was actually a wing attached to someone, instinctually lowered her head as she spoke. She hadn't had a chance to look at the person, but there was something about black wings that stood out to her. Like there was someone noteworthy in Ketra who had something similar.
