Oh dear thought Dhal, that's not good. While this was going on the real Dhal was watching on from the rooftop of the tavern hidden from sight. It was great entertainment to see the demon stumble around with hilarious expressions on his face. Shooting the Dhals however was not good, not because the illusion would be destroyed but because he was blasting holes through the tavern walls.
When you want to break someone with an illusion you must create an effect that the victim is completely removed from the reality they know. If he saw the people in the tavern then it was ruined. Quickly as the holes appeared he covered up the inside of the tavern with inky blackness. But for a split second the image of confused tavern goers were visible. He engaged the laughing again as a distraction. The 3 Dhals were of course unharmed. A creature slid out next to Salamon, human in form it was its skin was a translucent stone grey with blue veins clearly visible on its body. It screamed loud in an effort to overwhelm the demon with new scare's.
