He nodded and turned around, opening the door and leaving through it. He hoped to hear her follow - according to Lord Saroian, she was newly turned, so perhaps she wouldn't be able to walk completely silently. Perhaps it would be smarter to just turn around and check, but from what little he saw of her, he had a feeling she wouldn't appreciate being monitored.
That was another problem. Perhaps it would be hypocritical of him to find her attitude an inconvenience - should he find himself in a similar situation, he would have approached it from the same angle. Pressing at this point would only worsen the current state of affairs - she was to be an ally, the least he could do was to respect her boundaries. But he couldn't fail. He could only hope that a ride would put her in a better mood, one more suitable to having a discussion.
