It was a decent trek to where he wanted to go. Not too far, but he took it on foot, not using any power at all. No need to get carelessly caught after all. So he made his way to the capital, and from the capital, to a certain manor. He wasn't expected, but at the gates, he asked a servant to tell someone Alexander Stone was here on behalf of Lord Deimos.

He wasn't dressed all fancy-like. Just his best brown vest and trousers and boots. His hair was combed, and he was in good spirits.

Today was an overly busy day for Deimos, when it was supposed to regular day. He was writing letters to businessmen most of the day, then he had to get to an advisor meeting to go over even more about the business. Then Deimos heard word about how two younger Aphrodisios got into a fight, and one used his magic. This made him find Lilla and have her attend to these issues. This day just got busier and busier.

Deimos was in the middle of a full-fledged argument with other merchants when a servant interrupted. The servant walked to Deimos and whispered in his ear. " An Alexander Stone said he is here on your behalf."

"Yes, let him in." He said to the servent before redirecting his voice to the merchants. " This meeting is adjourned for the day, come back tomorrow so we can talk more on this pointless topic.."

The merchant stood up from their chairs, one slamming the chair back into the table. A couple of workers escorted the merchants out. Deimos stood up and walked to the front gates, through a different path than the one taken by the merchants. He walked to the front of the gates, which was just outside the house and saw Alex.

"Hello, welcome! Please, come inside." He said with a smile. It was a relief to see someone who wasn't trying to backstab you in the meeting room.

((Sorry! I haven't been on lately. THis wait shouldn't happen again.))

It wasn't long before Alex was given leave to enter. He had been waiting patiently at the closed gates, which opened now to let him in, only to be greeted by Deimos. "Hello! You're looking a tad ruffled. Are you well?" He asked, a bit concerned. On his way through the courtyard, he passed several disgruntled merchants who looked down their noses at him. It didn't really bother Alex that much. Let the world think what it wants to think. Alex knew better. It made him realize that Deimos probably had to deal with these uppity folk before he came by. He knew better than to get involved. Alex didn't play politics.

Still, it as nice around here. It had been awhile since Alex had been in town, and he had already picked up some future orders to fill before coming here. This was his last and most important stop. He just hoped it went well. Though they were both mages, so he didn't see why it wouldn't.

(( Don't worry about it xD It's not a problem )

"Yes, I'm well. Just a number of people who would rather have my head on a stake, then actually speaking to me diplomatically..."

Deimos saw the merchants walk past him as soon as he finished talking. Each and everyone of the merchants just looked at him. Deimos knew why they hated him, and it wasn't because of his business skills. He wasn't bother by their attitude, and just knew that if he handled himself, the business will thrive as well.

It was a nice day. The sun was bright, and the wind blew like typical. He walked through the courtyard, and bypassed the house. He continued walking till they got to the backyard area. Deimos sat down on a bench, with a great view of the blue pond.

" I'm glad you could make your way to the House," Deimos gestured for Alex to sit down, as a male servant came to the bench. "Is there anything I can get you guys?"

Huh. He idly wondered if those men knew Deimos was a mage. It was likely. Alex managed to remain unregistered, but it usually wasn't possible for others. Still, it was a thought for later. He scanned the property as he walked, taking in how beautiful it all was. It was quite relaxing. The breeze was cool on his skin, even as the sun heated the top of hid head.

They came across a bench which had a nice vie o the blue pond, and Alex sat with Deimos, enjoying the atmosphere after those merchants had left. It wasn't as stuffy with them gone. When the servant came by, Alex only asked for some water. He grinned at his acquaintance, "Well, you had asked me to stop by when I had the chance. I didn't have a reason not to come."

Deimos tried to clear the the thoughts about the business work he had done today, and tried to focus in on relaxation. Although Deimos never forgot anything, he could try to focus on different things. He looked at the serene pond, and then looked at the servent. "No, I'm fine, thank you though"

The servant sped away back into the house. He glanced over at Alex while he talked and then looked back to the pond. "Well I'm glad you decided to stop by, it's nice to see a friendly face every once in a while," He said as the servant came back around with a glass of water.

Thanking the man, he sips the water. It was very refreshing. He nods his head slightly at Deimos, "Yea," he laughs, "If you have to deal with them all the time, I could imagine it is!" He shook his head a little. He wasn't sure what to say, really. He was hoping there was some business here he could take care of. If not, he could always get to know the man better. It'd be nice to have a friend out here.

Deimos could see that Alex seemed short of words. He wasn't surprised, Deimos knew that Alex did not have to deal with the court politics of Connlaoth. So Deimos tried to direct the conversation down a more interesting parth.

"So.. Has there been anything that you have been working on recently?" He asked with a faint smile.

His eyes lit up a bit as he regaled  Deimos with some interesting projects he ha undergone in the last few months. He spoke of things like weird, creepy looking statues someone wanted made from copper, how someone wanted an actual golden sword, and another wanted him to put so many jewels in their axe that it was unduly heavy, though Alex thought that perhaps it would be easier to hit someone with using downward force...

Chuckling, he asked, "And hat about you? Surely it isn't all about distasteful men like them?" He was curious about his life too.

Deimos listened intently on the information that Alex was telling him. He thought about how some people, especially Connlaothian nobles, love to show their wealth. Even if that 'wealth' is just another blessing from the bank. As another servant walked by, Deimos asked for a glass of wine. Now, deimos has a moderately sized goblet, with what smells and looks like red wine.

"It's been interesting in my walk of life. I don't know if you know this, but I'm a leader of Aphrodisios Banking. That's the only reason why those merchants bared me in the first place." He said with a faint smile mixed with laughter.

"A bank? How interesting!" Alex responded. He personally didn't use one, but they were useful. He just kept all his stuff in his home, which was part of his shop. He didn't have a problem with robbery as he was pretty tough himself. He watched him drink wine, not really caring much for it himself. Well, now he knew how he had so much money.

"How was it you got interested in fighting then?" He asked, curious. How did a banker become a fighter?
