It was time.

Stygia glanced up at the top of the crag she lied down in, her mind reading the steady, distant presence of another dragon. No doubt, that dragon could feel her too. She closed her eyes, hearing the light sizzle of the acid above her as it worked its way through the stones she set up.

She closed her eyes.

Normally, she wasn't really prone to grand schemes like these. A faked injury, a kind smile, a good demeanor. But she needed the Acid-Blood's Goblet. She needed it so desperately once she found it existed, that she could no longer contain herself. She'd thought she lost her chance at true power when Ardeadai left her. Her beloved husband. He promised her gifts of dark power, but he only corrupted her and left. He never taught her how to use her hydra form...

She extended her wing, and the rock came tumbling down, right onto it. She heard and felt her bones snap under its weight, felt her wing bend out of shape.

She didn't need to fake the agonized bellowing that left her. No dragon could miss signals like those.

A routine fly around.

Luna was mostly just along for the ride.

Not so much the conversation.

Ixtlilton was unusually silent this time though, he'd mentioned something wrong around here and was keeping an eye out. His powerful wings beat at the wind and he'd seemed to have calmed down finally when they heard a cry. It wasn't human, that was for sure.

"Ixt!" Luna called sharply, grabbing at his neck, the smooth scales doing little for her grip. The pair flew towards the bellow, she could practically feel Ixtlilton's heart racing just as her own was. What could have possibly made that noise? Her dragon was apparently keen on finding out because before long they were landing and there it was.

"Oh my gods," Luna said softly, undoing the belts and buckles that kept her attached to Ixt. His head was down by the other dragons, nose nudging before he backed up and Luna walked towards it.

"Is she okay?" Ixtlilton asked, his voice soft, worried. It was his kin! His kin was wounded and Luna just stared and shrugged, and then she motioned to the rock. "Maybe move that, Ixt?" Luna said softly, moving towards the dragons head, careful, arms out. Her long white ponytail was up and out of her face and still, she moved carefully.

"Hey?" Luna called while Ixt worked at the rock, "Can you talk? Are you okay?"

Stygia didn't need to fake the tears that came after. In the position she was, it looked like she'd been sleeping when the rock fell on her.

Her chest heaved with every breath, and when she opened her eyes to look at Luna, she'd no doubt be struck by the pure, deep red that met her. Stygia was, without a doubt, a beautiful dragoness. So beautiful, in fact, that she could even be considered attractive by human standards. Her body was lithe.

"The... the rock," she said, and glanced over to her wing, to Ixt, who was atennding to it.

"It fell on my wing," she said, and she cried out when the boulder budged.

"I was sleeping here..."

Lune could appreciate the beautiful dragon and gently she reached out a pale hand to run it up and down her neck. Making calming noises while Ixtlilton pushed and finally removed the rock.

"Luna," He said looking down at the wing, "This is pretty bad." His voice was full of worry and he gave a concerned look towards the dragoness, moving closer to her, breath a little heavy from the exertion of moving the boulder.

A gentle frown from Luna and she looked between the two.

"How are we going to move her?" her voice was soft, hand still running up and down Sygia's neck trying to sooth her. "Can you move? Besides the wing? Does anything else hurt?"

DaGlobster

Stygia was large, and her neck long, so Luna couldn't really get at all of her neck in the gentle strokes she was giving her, but Stygia appreciated them nonetheless. Soothing touches were soothing, and in the pain she was, she didn't need to fake that, either.

As soon as the rock came free, Stygia pulled the injured wing closer to her body, wincing in pain, letting Luna see her perfectly curved, razor-sharp teeth. She looked like she was powerful enough to destroy the both of them, if she was so taken by that desire. It was tough to downplay her strength, but Stygia was nothing if not an experience actor and liar.

Immediately, she set out the bait. She looked at Ixt with sadness in her eyes, pupils contracted in tight with pain.

"I can walk, it's... it's just my wing..."

Draconian

Lethal.

That was Luna's first thought.

This was one lethal dragon.

Upside to that. The dragon had her mind about her and that was a good thing.

"We'll escort you to back to Ketra then." Luna gently bit her lip and looked at Ixt who was gazing concerned at Stygia before he moved back to Luna.

The pair matched and it was easy to tell exactly why the vain dragon had chosen the pale woman as his rider. While Ixt was brilliant in the sunlight, Luna looked a little washed out, though just as ethereal. "Get your wing healed, hmm?" Luna said, hands still trailing up and down the dragons neck.

"You can walk and we'll... Walk with you? I'd suggest he carry you but... Ixt isn't nearly as strong as he looks," Luna smiled slightly and the dragon scoffed, looking offended.

Stygia nodded, and she pulled her head away from Luna's hands, getting up onto her feet, keeping her wounded wing pressed completely to her side. Her eyes glanced over Luna, and they locked onto Ixt. Her opposite color, young, and, by the way he carried himself, vain and not too physically powerful.

She couldn't have picked a better time to execute her plan.

She smiled, and blinked at Ixt a few times. She stepped up to him, walking past as she gave him a hooded-eye look.

"Thanks for the help," she said to him, and then looked to Luna.

"I'd appreciate the medical attention."

Draconian

Ixt moved himself closer to Stygia, he was smaller than her but he was sure he could hold his own with helping her.

Luna looked around, face drawn tight while she tried to find a way around.

"It'll take a bit to get back to Ketra..." Licking her lips she ran her hand down Stygia's neck again, lips pursed before she pulled her hood up to cover her head and face, "But we'll get there and get your wing fixed. It's a good thing you aren't feral or I doubt we'd have been able to help at all." A brief glance at Ixt who was staring at Stygia and Luna began to walk, not wanting to be a bothersome companion.

"Or... Ixt could go ahead? Get some help? I can stay here with you? It shouldn't take long for him to come back with someone to help you."

DaGlobster

Stygia's eyes remained on Ixt, especially after he scooted just a bit closer to him. She offered him a small smile, and then her eyes went to Luna. She propped herself up onto her front legs a bit, arcing her back as she stretched a bit.

It'd give Ixt an excellent view of her draconic contours, of the slender but tight muscles that lined her frame.

"Whatever gets me there faster", she said as she laid back down, crossing her forelegs. She looked at Ixt again, and then back to Luna.
