Somewhere in the thunderblacks lies a secluded cave. Rumours spokebof said cave contain treasure. Treasure that could not compare to a man, or woman's, wildest dreams. Many had travelled the path. But none had reached the illustrous cave yet.
But. None knew what was truly inside the cave. What truly was out of sight and well hidden in the thunderblacks was the vampire lord. Acheron Whitemoore. Residing within the fabled cave. He had come across it by sheer accident. Now being sat on a gilded throne.
Yet he was slumped down, his head supported by his fist, wich in turn was supported by his arm and elbow on the armsupport of the throne. Blood slowly trickled down from behind his closed eyelids. On his shoulder sat a crow. Its eyes also shut. The two seemed to be fast asleep.
Oh, Naovi had heard the rumors, all right.
And she had followed the tales to the fabled place, a place few dared to go for there were also tales of monsters and beasts guarding the legendary hoard. They were the sorts of tales that would scare a mere mortal, but Naovi was no mere mortal and she was certainly no coward! Nothing risked, nothing gained, after all!
She wasn't too interested in the riches themselves as she was interested in the prospect of any magical trinkets that might be buries among them. She had a collection of her own, after all; rare magical items were very, very relevant to her interests! And so she came to the fabled cave, but not in her human shape. Instead, she was in the form of a small red fox--a small red fox with three tails, wearing a necklace around her furry neck. A necklace with a single white pearl.
Humans were clumsy and made a lot of noise, but as a fox she was swift and quiet and, aside from the tails and necklace, a fox was less obvious than a human. Foxes were a copper a dozen out in the wilds, so of course foxes would poke their noses in dens searching for food and shelter.
Her being here was nothing out of the ordinary! Really!
Slinking into the cave, Naovi sniffed the air and wrinkled her nose when she smelled bird and man, the fur bristling along her back. But when her eyes spotted what her nose had scented, she saw the culprits were...asleep? Dead? Hm. Either way, they were clearly oblivious. It just meant she had to work fast.
And so she scampered inside and slunk past the two, deeper into the cave to begin her search.
Nor the vampire, nor the crow moved or even stirred as the small fox slipped by them. Yet, only when Naovi was deeper inside the cave, a murder of crows swooped down on her with loud caws. While they did not initially harm her, in the confusion and storm of black feathers, one tried to pry away her necklace and fly off. It was then that all of the crows suddenly dissappeared. Without a trace. As if vanishing in thin air.
And footsteps resounded down the stairs.
HOLYSHITWHAT?!
A murder of crows descended upon her then, and for a second Naovi thought they were there to literally murder her. She let out a startled yip and snapped at them as they fluttered all around her, spinning in a circle to try and catch one or two, and she had just begun to summon her foxfire when--
...When nothing happened.
The crows lifted and fluttered away, and Naovi was left there, tails rubbing together as she tried and failed to conjure some spark of magic. But there was nothing, and when she pawed at her neck--oh gods.
It was gone.
Her necklace was gone.
Panic shot through her as she realized those fuckers had taken it, and when she heard footsteps descending down some stairs somewhere, she bolted after them. Ohhhh no! That attack had been deliberate, and whoever was responsible was going to pay, and pay dearly when she caught them! Never mind that she was currently in the petite form of a fox.
She found the stairs and bounded down them. Even though she was useless in this form without her necklace, about as extraordinary as any other fox (save for having three tails), she was determined. She would gnaw the fucker's ankles off if she had to!
Acheron surfaced from a flight of stairs, holding the aforementioned necklace in his hand. He looked sleepy. His eyesockets and cheelbones still slightly bloodied. A crow cawing as they looked at the fox. As if taunting her. "Well. Is this our so called intruder?" He said. His voice bored and desinterested. He seemed very passive.
Yet at the same time. The vampire lord looked menacing at the same time.
The menacing man appeared, the one who had seemed to be asleep, and Naovi arched her back like a cat and lowered her head, her ears flattening as she growled. He had her necklace! And the stupid crow gave it to him!
Her tail bristled, the hairs all along her back standing on end. "That's mine!" she yipped. "Give it back!"
Acheron chuckled slowly. It was a light, gentle chuckle. But in some way, the vampire made it sound so threatening. "Tell me, little fox. What position do you think you're in?" Slowly. A crow wrenched away from his arm. Then his face. As he slowly dissappeared into a flock of crows that dissipated into nothingness. His soft voice carrying thriugh the entire cave.
"You're in no position to make demands, little fox."
Panic shot through her when he vanished, and she knew with heart-wrenching certainty that he was correct. She wasn't in a position to make demands; he had her at his mercy, and could vanish with her necklace just like that.
And without her necklace...
She didn't have long left to live.
"Wait!" she yelped, spinning around as she looked for some sign of the crows, some sign of him, tried to even pick up his very scent with her keen nose but came up with nothing. "W-wait, come back! Hold on, please! I can make you a deal, just give it back!"
"You called?" Acheron said as he seemed to step out through a wall, the crow with the necklace in it's bead on his shoulder. "What kind of.. Deal?" He asked as he pulled the necklace from the crow, wrapping it around his hand.
Naovi jumped and spun around when he just appeared again, and she knew she was screwed. He was an immortal being like her, and she could smell how powerful he was, how ancient. Older than she was by far--which made the game they played all the more dangerous. But if she didn't get her pearl back, it was over. She had no choice, and there was little she could do in this form without it.
She certainly couldn't rush him and snatch it back. He could snuff her out like a candle. Or just...bat her away like an gnat, more likely.
A chill went down her spine, making her fur spike, but as long as he was still here and talking with her, at least she had a chance. She stared up at him, her eyes narrowed and never leaving that pearl, that little orb that was literally her life--her life, which he could choose to crush in his hand if he desired.
She swallowed, licking her teeth nervously.
"Whatever will get it back to me," she said at last, dangerous words--but she didn't know what she could offer a creature like him that would make it worth it. "What can I do to get it back from you? Name your price."
"What can you offer me dear? You do not look like a normal fox. But that much was clear from the necklace." He chuckled slowly as he stepped forward. Kneeling down infront of Naovi. "Do tell me. What brought you to my lair?"
Naovi held her ground as he approached, though she was sorely tempted to try to snatch the necklace from his hand when he knelt before her. It was there, just within reach...
But he would just vanish, she knew, and she might lose her chance entirely.
"I smelled magic here," she said. "But that's getting off topic! It doesn't matter why I'm here! I want my necklace back. Now. And I'll do whatever it takes to get it back. What do you want? I can incinerate your enemies! Zap them with lightning! Scare the shit out of them with nightmares so real they'll die of fright! I have treasure! I collect magical things! I can give you any of it or all of it if you'll just give me back that pearl!"
"I have all these things, little fox. These offers are no good. For now. I merely wish to know about you." He held up the pearl. "Isn't that a start?" He smirked as he looked to the pearl. "And why is it so imortant?"
Spirits and fire be damned!
With a small huff, Naovi sat and curled her three tails around her feet. She stared at the pearl with her piercing eyes, still bristling, but growing desperate now. She could feel the pearl's loss like a physical thing, like she was missing a chunk of herself--the most essential, core part of who she was. It was uncomfortable, itchy, and pressed all around her until it was all she could think about.
She needed it back, she needed it back now.
"It's important because it's mine!" she snapped, some part of her still desperate not to tell him just how important, how easily he could kill her right now. "What do you want to know?! I'm not a normal fox! Obviously! I'm kitsune! I have power over lightning and fire, over dreams! I can feed on peoples' desires! I can take two shapes, this and the shape of a human, but I can't change without my pearl or do magic without my pearl and I need it back now!"
Her words came out more and more panicked the more she spoke, but she couldn't help it. She'd never been apart from her pearl before and she wasn't handling this well!
"I'll do anything! What do you want? My promise is as good as gold, name it and I'll be bound to you, just give me my pearl back!"
Acheron chuckled again. To him. This was all a rather comical scene. He flicked the pearl up, towards Naovi. Before standing up. "Human form." Was what he said. Folding his arms. "Let's talk. You have piqued my interest, Kitsune." Achero smirked slowly.
Little had he known that something this interesting had stumbled into his temporary lair. He didn't care for the riches within or the items sprawled about. Adventurers often came here, so it meant free food walked in here. Free food and this. Very interesting indeed.
"We are talking! What do you want to talk about? Yes! I have a human form! I said that! So what do you want?!" Naovi yipped, hopping to her feet as well, her tails flicking irritably.
"Catch." Was what the vampire stated, before tossing the pearl down to her. "And change to yiur human form. Where do you come from? And what is your name?" He chuckled a bit. "And what can you offer me? Your body? Your mind and soul? I gave you the pearl back.. So it is only fair I have a right to know what choices I have ."
Ohohoho...
The pearl glinted in the air, and Naovi leaped and caught it in her teeth--
And smiled a fox's sly smile as she landed.
Old though he might be, he had slipped. He had never named his price, she had never agreed, and they had never sealed the bargain. She had only named things she could offer him, but she had never given him her promise--only told him that she would.
She spared him only that one bright look of triumph before she bolted away from him in a flash of fire and crackling sparks, smoke rising like a smokescreen to hopefully buy her time--and serve as a distraction--as she raced from the room as fast as her swift paws could carry her.
Acheron grinned widely. Exactly according to plan. A fox may be a cunning predator. Or a swift and difficult prey. But Acheron was a master vampire. An apex predator. And the apex enjoyed toying with his game. Slowly. He stepped backwards. Dissappearing into the wall once more. "Little fox. These aren't manners at all." His voice resounded through the ruins/cave once more. Softly. Gently. Amused. And oh so dangerous.
And the hallway Naovi turned into, a mere trick of illusion magic. If succesful, it would seem tl stretch on for eternity. Behind her a wall. No choice but to stray down the path. If unsuccesful. She'd be met with the sight of a crow infront of her. Odd red eyes staring at her.
Naovi ran.
And ran.
And ran.
She didn't know how long she ran before she realized the path was unending, but when she spun around to go back, cursing under her breath, she met a wall instead. She froze, eyes going wide, and spun back around to face the pathway.
Shit...
Shiiiiit.
Maybe...maybe she had been the one to underestimate him! Maybe he had known all along what he was doing. Dammit! He smelled old and powerful! Surely he couldn't have been so stupid, and she was the stupid one for assuming he was!
No choice but to keep going.
With a huff, her heart pounding in her chest, and fell into a faster run.
When she ran. Each and every time. Always at exactly the same distance, she'd meet a torch. Again. And again.
And again.
And again.
It wasn't an undending path. Not at all. She was merely running circles. Slowly. Acheron's chuckle was heard throughout the ruins once more. "Do not think you can hide, little fox. You're on my domain now."
That damned torch again.
Naovi's sides were heaving, her tongue lolling out of her jaws, when she finally came to a stop beneath the torch. She didn't know how long she had been running, but she was exhausted, her feet sore and sides aching and heart about to burst. She had to stop before she dropped; she might be immortal, but she could still die of mortal things, even things so simple as pushing herself too hard.
She sat down, panting, her head down and ears drooping. "Let me go!" she barked. "I just want my pearl, that's all!"
"My my." Acheron chuckled as he picked up the collapsed fox by her neck. Holding her up infront of him. "Ran to your heart's content, you little mutt?" He inquired with another chuckle. Before his gaze turned stonecold. His face dead serious. "Now. Human form. As I requested prior. Before I lose my patience."
Naovi let out a small yelp when he came from nowhere and picked her up by her scruff, but she was too tired to snap at him--and knew there was little point, anyway. She was in his domain, as he had said, and as much as she hated it, she knew she was stuck. For now. She still had her wits, at least, so she could play his game a little while longer.
And she had her pearl, worn once more around her neck. As long as she had that, little else mattered.
She curled her lips at him, baring her sharp little teeth at his demand, but with an all-too-human roll of her eyes, she acquiesced. There was a quick flash of light, and then the little fox was gone--and in her place, Acheron held a human woman instead, shorter than him with brown skin splotched with patches of white. She was naked, and she was still snarling at him like the fox had been, her three tails twitching in irritation and bright eyes narrowed.
She grabbed at his hand, the grip on her neck flat out painful now. "Let go!" she hissed.
Acheron chuckled slowly as Naovi was in her human form. Still held by the neck. "That wasn't so difficult. Now was it?" He let go of her neck, his hands retreating in the black and crimdon cloak once more. "Name. And. Your offer on how to repay my.. Kindness." It was easy. Either she'd come with a valid proposition or he'd snatch away her necklace. Wich was as easily said as done. And if she still managed to irritate him even after that. Well. Let's just say magical fox blood doesn't taste that bad.
"Naovi," she spat when he asked her name, rubbing the back of her neck and glowering at him. She shivered a little, colder now that she wore only skin without fur, and brought her three bushy tails up so she could hug them against her chest for warmth. Caves were cold!
And though one of her arms clutched her tails, her other hand held a tight grip on her necklace, a protective gesture. It had felt awful to be apart from it, a sensation she never again wanted to experience, and she didn't trust this bastard for one instant.
She snorted at his words. "What's an old man like you need?" she asked with a scowl, frustration lacing her words. She just wanted to leave already, not play guessing games! "You said you don't need my magic or my power. What else is there? You need a helper? You got some task you need doing? I'll do it! I'll--!"
Then she paused, looked at him with a raised eyebrow, and snorted. Weeeell. Old man or not, he was a man, so...
She flicked her tails out behind her and put a hand on her hip, cocking her head. "Wanna just fuck and call it even?"

"Old man? Little fox. You hurt my feelings. I look quite young for my seven centuries.." He chuckled again. "A helper. Perhaps. Yes. I would want you to be a part of my.. Collection? Such a crude way of putting it. Perhaps.. Group or.. Harem sounds better? I do like this to happen willingly. But. Ah. Well. Such is life."
He folded his arms underneath the cloak, he chuckled again at the crude remark of just fucking and calling it even. "That sounds like a step in the right direction, at least." He wasn't going to lie. Several months stuck in a cave when nothing but ugly adventurers pass by. It was frustrating.
His harem? Naovi's eyebrow arched higher, but she didn't balk at the idea. Sex was as casual a thing for her as eating, and feeding upon energy like that felt amazing, so she had no qualms about that. But being bound to him? Her skin itched at the idea; she didn't like being bound to any one place for too long, and didn't like the thought of calling anyone master.
But if it meant getting out of here with her pearl...
"For how long?" she said, tails swishing behind her as she watched him closely.
"Eternally. You are free to move around and do as you wish. Travel as much as you wan and do as you please. But when I call to you. You heed that call. Besides that, I will not impair your freedom." Acheron arched an eyebrow. Quite interested in what the fox would answer. But. All in all. A choice wasn't really present. Denying him was a bad idea.
Eternally?!
Naovi bristled at that, her eyes going wide and lips curling to show her teeth, but she bit her tongue before she could say anything brash, knowing she was literally stuck her at his mercy. She sucked in a deep breath and grit her teeth.
"And if I say no?"
"Then I'd most likely make you braindead and turn you into my puppet.. For eternity." He chuckled slowly. "Or I can grab that precious pearl from you again and keep it. It really depends. But. Again. I'd rather not do any of the prior and hope for your good judgement." He smirked slowly. "The choice is yours." With a snap of his fingers, they were called back into reality. The same corridor Naovi had run into the first place, before being forced under his illusions.
Naovi's lips twisted as the world swam back into reality. "Well, wow, when given options like those, I'd be a damned fool to deny you, eh?" she said sourly.
Letting out a sigh, she let her shoulders droop and scowled at him. "Very well."
And she hoped he would accept her word just like that, that he wouldn't catch that she had agreed to absolutely nothing. Her word meant nothing unless she also spoke exactly what she was agreeing to.
"Good." Acheron chuckled slowly, before stepping forward. Holding up his hand. "Not so fast.." He grinned slowly, folding a but his index and middle finger. "I will link your mind to mine. This allows me to call out for you when I need to. I hope you do not mind."
He closed his eyes briefly. A small procedure that didn't take much. With this. He'd be able to call on Naovi, but also have easier access to her mind to influence it with illusions. With a deep sigh, Acheron would reach out for the fox' mind once more and try to get inside and leave his mark.
After and if it succeeded, he'd lower his hand again. Retreating back into the cloak. "Now. How about that aforementioned sex?"
Naovi balked, but before she could jerk away, the deed was done, and she felt it click in her mind like the slamming of a door. Her hands flew up to her head and she cursed under her breath, reeling a little. She very much did mind, but it was already done, and all she could do was glare at him and bare her teeth.
And then he was right back to asking about sex.
Her eyes narrowed all the more, but then she smiled brightly, a thought springing to mind. Very well, then. He wanted to fuck, so they would fuck.
She glanced around the dreary cave, then shrugged at him. "Eager, are we? The offer's still on the table, but maybe not here?" She shivered, tails curling around her again. "It's cold. And gross. Where's this harem of yours, anyway? Don't you have like...comfortable beds and things? I'm not fucking on rocks. Even grass in the outdoors is better than this!"
He smirked at the hostility. That all just made it better. More interesting. Yet. Her sudden shift of facial expression did warn him. She was planning something. The realisation he had wasn't visible to Naovi. Acheron nodded slowly as she made note of not approving by doing it on cold rocks. A thing he did agree on. What did she even expect? Someone as beautiful as him wanting to have sex on cold stone? The very thought was hilarious. And infuriating.
"Yes. Follow me." He stated as he turned around. A crow slowly landing on his shoulder as he walked. "Back in my mansion. I merely came here on my travels." He said with a chuckle.
After descending some stairs, they'd enter a well-lit room. Richly decorated. The walls cleanly finished, furnitured. A luxurious bed with canopy standing in the middle of the room. It looked a far cry from the cave's interior and this room's interior. The ground even had carpet and wooden boards, rather than cold, hard stone.
Soon they were entering a lavish room, and Naovi blinked in surprise. Was this...connected to the cave? Or had they somehow magically traveled? It was hard to tell, she realized with a spark of frustration. His magic was strong and ancient, powerful enough that not even she, with her gifts of illusions, could detect the illusions from reality.
This...was going to be interesting.
She stepped into the room, tails swishing as she walked and trailed a hand along one of the bed's posters. She gave a little hum of approval, eyes flicking around the room, and ran her fingers over the bedspread. "Not too shabby," she said. "How far away from that cave are we now? Where are we, exactly?"
"Thank you." He said with a soft chuckle as he recieved the half-hearted compliment. "We are.. Somewhere else. Where is unimportant now. All that matters is that this is not an illusion. That this is reality. What you touch and feel. It is real."
He pulled up two metal chaliches from a cupboard. "Would you care for some wine before we begin.. Or during?" He asked, slowly chuckling.
"Oh, I'm not that fond of wine, so drink a glass for me?" Naovi said with a smile as she turned back to the bed, and flicked him with her tails in the process. It was a lie; she liked wine just fine. Loved it, actually, and she made a fabulous drunk if she did say so herself! Good times! But it would be better for her to be clear-headed and him to be foggy-headed.
She crawled onto the bed on her hands and knees, tails lifted up and out of he way and swaying idly to give him an uninhibited view of her ass. She crawled to the center of the bed and knelt, tails curled around her knees, and watched him idly with her head cocked.
"Are you going to drink it before?" she asked, and smirked. "Or during?"
"Hm." Acheron poured a chalice for himself. "I'd like to drink yours. But I won't. I'd rather be able to still move properly and think straight." He chuckled slowly. Acheron never got drunk once. He even drank wine on most occasions just to fit in. He disliked the taste. He found it utterly disgusting. The taste of poisenous alcohol was too strong. He wasn't too fond of sweet tastes either. Add to that that the fox was planning something. Being of a frailer lind would be negative. Drinking wine was just a pose. With a slow sip, he smirked at the small display and swaying, putting his wine down when she inquired about it.
He shook his head. "Perhaps later. Perhaps never." He returned the smirk as he dropped the cloak, looking down at her with the cold and unsympathetic red eyes. "Are you ready?"
Well, damn. So he wasn't going to get tipsy. No matter. Naovi could work with this, tipsy or clear-headed, though it would have been nice if he was inebriated and stupid.
Oh well!
She smiled at him, watching him from beneath her thick lashes, and ran her fingers up her belly and over her breasts, thumbs circling her nipples until they hardened. Her smile turned into a smirk as she flicked her tails back behind her and, still kneeling, opened her legs as she slipped her hands back down. And all the while she watched him, eyes roving over his pale body. She licked her lips and rolled her hips against her hand.

There was only one thing he lied about in the room. There was only one illusion. And that was he himself. To Naovi, the hampirebwouldbpull his shirt off and crawl towards her. His body pale, agile and still slightly muscled. Quite charming, one even might add. Yet. In reality, Acheron was still fully dressed. Sitting in the corner of a room with the same chalice. But filled with blood. He wasn't planning on letting the Kitsune know she was being tricked. He merely wished to see what her plans were. And after she played her hand. Acheron would make her scream. In pure bliss.
To Naovi, Acheron slowly pushed her down against the bed. Baring his fangs with a slow grin. "If you can taunt like that, little fox," Acheron chuckled slowly as he pushed two fingers inside of Naovi's mouth."Then keep your mouthbbusy.." He murmured with a slow chuckle. His other hand slipping down to her womanhood and forcing her hand away if it was still stimulating her. "And so unrefined." Was what the illusion muttered to Naovi. Yet he sounded, felt, looked and smelled completely real.
Another perk of the link between them, for Acheron, was that he had unlimited acces to influencing her mind. Granting him the ability to make Naovi as sensitive, or as insensitive as he pleased. She flopped backwards onto the bed with a smirk, happy to have goaded him into action, and was about to taunt him a little more when her words were cut off with a muffled sound as he shoved his fingers in her mouth.

She could tell this was going to be fun. She liked it when they bit back. Too bad this one would be dead soon if she had her way.
But for now, she let out a soft moan around his fingers and twirled her tongue around them, licking and sucking, even as she spread her legs wider as she felt his hand prod between them.
