A young woman fell screaming face first into a pit at the border of a jungle. Thankfully it wasn't fatal still a bit painful for her though. It took a half minute but she forced herself up on her feet, grunting in frustration. The girl's name was Via, a wandering traveler that fought for a living, at age twenty two. With brown eyes, she stood five and six inches with black straight hair that reach the edge of her shoulders with an athletic and attractive shaped body with olive skin. It was more obvious she was completely naked!
It hadn't been Via's choice. First she was sleeping in an room she rented at the inn for the night, the next she woke up being a held down in restrain by weirdos who wore red cloaks and snake shapes masks. Hearing repeated chants above several feet above, she looked up in that direction, cursing the snake lovers loudly.
"Oh Mighty Queen accept this offering we have given you. May you be victorious!" One of the them cried out.
"Who is he talking to?" Via wondered angrily before she turned to look behind a few feet away. Tia's mouth dropped and her eyes widen in sheer shock at the fearsome being before her.
A soft, rattling hiss left the fearsome being. It was no other than a naga. A cross breed between woman and snake.
Another rattling his left the Naga Queen, red scales dimly reflecting the light of torches that were planted around the pit. Slowly, but surely, the menacing serpent slithered closer and closer to Via. It was her prey. A light snack as offering.
And Narenja was hungry.
Needless to say Via had never seen anything like the Naga before her. She had heard the stories and legends but they failed to compare to this. For a few moments, Via stood horrified at the sight as the snake queen slithered over to her. Suddenly she looked for a way to escape but saw none visible at the moment.
Realizing the futility of such a search, Via steady herself. The human's expression became harden with defiance as coruage returned to her. She gotten into a defenvise stance with closed fists raised to shoulder length.
"What are you?"
Via finally asked. The snake cultists snickered and watched with anticipation. They hoped their latest offering will provide more amusment to Queen Narenja than the last ones did.
A soft hissing came in return as Narenja closed in on Via. "Not what.. Who," sounded the hostile hiss. "And your doom is impending, if you have last words," her tail rattled as it raised infront of Via. "I shall listen."
"I am Via Dios, daughter of Ti Dios, born and raised a fighter. If this is to be my end then I challenge you by the rite of combat."
The would-be human sacrifice declared defiantly. Meanwhile Narenja's followers watched with greater interest. They hope their Queen will humor the human, foolish as she was. It would provide great enjoyment to watch Narenja to toy with her latest prey.
"Those are a lot of last words," Narenja purred, fluttering her eyes. "But as you wish, mortal. You shall have your rite of combat," a soft, fang baring hiss left her. Sharp talons gleaming in the light of the several torches placed around.
Taking a deep breath then releasing it Via focused, remembering her training. Then with a war cry, she charged straight at the Queen. She jumped and spinned herself with a left kick toward Narenja's head.
"Slow," Narenja hissed, raising her arm to block the kick. She grabbed Via's leg and aimed to slam her against the ground.
Her failure to strike a true blow was paid with painful slam back to the ground. Via uttered a grunt upon impact and laid on her backside. The cultists cheered their queen on, knowing she will extend this human's suffering as long as it pleases her.
"I'll choke the life out of you," Narenja murmured as she leaned forward, pinning Via's hands down against the floor, tail wrapping around the sacrifice's legs.
Via can feel the big snake's tail wrapping her legs. She struggle to break free but the queen her arms trapped as well. Thinking fast, Via spit right in the eyes of Narenja. While the Naga was distracted, the human set her arms free, before unleashing a furry of hard punches into the Snake Lady's face then griping her into a fierce headlock.
A high-pitched hiss came from Narenja as he jolted backwards, hands going for her eyes. She felt the punch connect to her jaw, but it left few of the desired effect.
In fact, it made the naga only angrier. She would have none of that. She tilted her head back at the second punch, before she opened her mouth and whipped her head back forward, aiming to sink her gleaming talons into Via's arm, aiming to inject her with a paralys poison.
Via swing her arm away from the Naga's attempted bite. She proceeded to fire another punch from her other arm toward Narenja in the gut area. Yet as she done so the coils of the queen had finally completed its grip over her legs, tightening them together in extreme pain.
Narenja let out a gasp for air at the punch to her gut. However, despite being winded, she pressed forwards, aiming to pin Via against the ground with a sickening headbutt. Her tail tightening around Via's legs.
Letting out her own gasp, Via took the full force of the headbutt, that violently forced her back down to the soil. Utterly stunned, she then began to moan as the Naga's tail squeezed her limbs with a vengeance.
"I will break you," a soft, hissing chuckle came from Narenja as she wrapped her tail tighter around Via's legs. "You will die here.."
"Plagues take you." Via muttered through gritted teeth at Narenja. She attempted to push out of the hold using her arms but the Naga Queen's grip was too strong.
"Nothing shall take me," Narenja hissed. The grip on Via's hands tightened. So did her tail.
The naga's jaw dropped, revealing the large fangs once more.
Despite the utter helplessness of her situation, Via stared back up at the Naga in hatred.
"Do your worst."
She declared with firece defiance in her tone. The cultists watched on above in the stands hoping their queen won't give this insolent girl the mercy of a quick death.
"Such a mouth," her jaw closed slowly, smirking. "I'll break you," her hand motioned slightly, hooking her finger behind Via's. "Here goed the first," she said with an almost musical chuckle, before breaking Via's.left index finger.
Via could barely contain a scream that threaten to come out of her mouth. She struggle some more for escape to no avail as the Naga's coils now ensnared further up around the waist along with the legs.
A soft smirk appeared on Narenja's face. "Let me hear those screams. Don't hold back," she urged. "And here comes the second," her finger hooked behind Via's middlefinger, pulling it so it broke aswell.
This time, Via did let out an scream when Narenja broke the middle finger. Even then she refused to submit completely.
"Even a blind man can break fingers. You're disappointing me Snake Whore."
"Tsk tsk," Narenja hooked her finger behind Via's ringfinger. "Insults will get you nowhere," she said with a statisfied hiss, tail rattling softly.
And another snap resounded as she broke Via's ringfinger.
Another scream followed suit from Via, no doubt music to the Naga Queen. She tried to catch her breath, wondering what she ever did to deserve to be tormented by this snakish fiend. Via gritted teeth and breathed in and out slowly, remembering her training. Narenja will have to do more punishment to break this human's spirit.
"There's still some fight in you," Narenja purred as she leaned forward, her tongue slithering across Via's cheek. "Perhaps I'll paralyze you," she murmured as she grabbed Via's pinky, before breaking it.
The human feel her skin at the touch of Narenja's tongue. A horsed cry eurpted from Via as the pinky finger went next. Even with this pain, Via realized how close her tormentor' face was to her. Acting fast Via head butted Narenja straight in the face.
Narenja coiled back at the headbutt, hissing with frustration. A black eye visible, though it would have been extremely painful for Via aswell.
And the naga's grip did not relent. She leaned in, baring her fangs. "Paralyze it is," she hissed dangerously, before sinking her talons in Via's shoulder.
Via's forehead bled a little as a result of her last attack and left her utterly stunned. Instead of a scream, Via Dios moaned when Narenja sank her fangs into the bare shoulder. Soon her whole body freeze in motion as the Naga Queen intended.
Narenja sat up with a soft and satisfied hiss. "Now.. What are we going to break next?" She pondered aloud.
Via could say noting much less move due to the poison that kept her in check. It left her utterly helpless, allowing Queen Narenja, complete freedom to do as she pleased without Via fighting back.
"Lost your tongue?" Narenja almost purred as she leaned forward, grabbing Via's other hand. "Or just impaired." She noted, pressing a soft kiss on Via's forehead as she twisted her second index finger into breaking.
Via would scream again if she could but being immobilized kept that from happening. It still was quite agonizing for the human. A part of her wondered what's happens when the Naga finishes breaking all of her fingers.
"So docile," she murmured softly. "I like docile." She released Via's hand, judging the woman had recieved enough punishment for the time being. Her tongue slithered from her mouth, travelling across her neck. "But something tells me not to eat you," she murmured to Via.
What's going on? Via thought, trapped in her paralyzed state. She was utterly confused about the Snake Woman's intentions at this point. If only she could move again, better to die fighting was her opinion.
"Ah, yes," Narenja purred against Via's neck. "I'm going to keep you, break you. You're my pet now." She smirked softly. "And as your owner, I am allowed to give you a name. Any suggestions?"
Enraged, Via tried to lash out but only suceeded in narrowing her eyes in anger.
The gods must hate me to allow this fate. The fighter thought to herself bitterly.
"No answer, ofcourse," Narenja chuckled. "How about Nameless?"
My name is Via Dios you Snake Whore! While the human couldn't say it outloud her enraged expression would make it quite evident to the Naga what her new pet thought of the 'new name'. It's most certainly doubtful that the Queen even about Via's opinon on the matter.
"No objections?" Narenja asked with a soft purr. "Then Nameless it is," a soft chuckle left Narenja, obviously overjoyed with her new pet.
Silently Via prayed to her gods that this was only nightmare she was having. Though in her heart she knew that this was all real. Back above the snake cultists sang praises and bowed repeatedly, their Goddess had gained. One of them pulled a lever, opening a gate behind Narenja.
It lead back to the Naga's inner sanctum where she can continue playing with her newly claimed pet in private.
Narenja glanced up at the cultidts, rather unimpressed. It was about time they left her alone.
The tail wrapped further up around Via, dragging her along in the ill-lit inçer sanctum.
Via can feel that she can move her muscles ever so slightly. Yet it won't do her any good as she was dragged by the Naga who slithered back to her lair. The gate closed behind them, once they past through.
Narenja softly hummed under her breath, slithering down a small slope, revealing the place where she spend most of her time. A large chamber, filled with bones and skulls, but also what seemed to be furniture a tad larger than human standards.
The poison was slowly wearing off, but it hardly mattered since Via laid firmly trapped within the Naga's coils, not to mention most of her fingers were broken as well. She did manage to raise her head to see the chamber. Needless to say the sight of the bones all over the place, made her very sober, she shiver beneath Narenja's hold.
"So, you can move a bit now?" Narenja inquired as her tail unfurled around Via, leaving her on the ground.
Via laid on the ground on her back and stared up at the snake queen in resentment. In her state, Via knew she couldn't fight back, not effectively at least, and it frustrated her to no end.
"Why keep me alive?"
"I want to break you," Narenja chuckled. "In more ways than physical."
Via sneered back at Narenja, before forcing herself to stand on one knee.
"I am of House Dios. We do not break." She declared in spite of everything.
A soft, yet menacing chuckle left Narenja. "Are you so certain, Nameless?"
For the first time, in her young life Via felt quite uncertain, given the situation. Even so she tried to hide it behind a mask of lingering defiance.
"Whatever the truth maybe, you have to labor hard for it."
In added measure, she spit on the ground, in front of Narenja,
"Oh, my dear, dear Nameless," Narenja started, tail rattling slightly, albeit from amusement, rather than annoyance. "I am a goddess. Be happy that I allow you to serve at my side."
"So I should be grateful becoming your pet and even having my own name stripped from me?"
She sarcastically ask, before lowering her head in disgusted shame.
"I am a fighter, not a plaything." Via said bitterly as if to remind herself.
"No, you should be grateful for being allowed to touch me and be cherished by me," Narenja corrected.
A soft chuckle left the naga. "No. You are my plaything."
Not taking it anymore, Via screamed out her denial. Then she rushed off her knee, charging straight at Naga Queen, even though she knew it was a futile attack
Narenja's tail shot forward, aiming to constrict around Via's throat and smack her against the ground.
The tail grasped unto her neck, taking Via by suprise. She was further punished when slammed back to the ground.
On the floor, again Via moaned, new pain added to her already damaged body. Finally angry tears streamed down the fallen fighter's face.
"None of that," Narenja hissed, before slithering forward to Via again, wrapping herself around her new pet. "Now, warm me, plaything."
Via felt utterly useless, her warrior spirit broke at last. It will take time to heal if it ever did. The human accepted the Naga's embrace without resistance. Upon the command, Via wrapped her arms around Narenja, pressing their bodies together for warmth.
Weary from both injury and fatigue, Via rested her head over the snake goddnes's right shoulder.
"Tired." She confessed in an whisper, as unconsciousness threaten to take her.
Narenja chuckled softly. "You're allowed to sleep, nameless.."
When told to rest, Via closed her eyes. Within moments she fell asleep, within her new mistress's embrace.
A soft purr rumbled in Narenja's chest. "So warm.." She hissed softly.
Via slept in the grasp of the Naga Queen. She continued do so until next morning.
And so did Narenja, not even waking up in the morning.
Slowly opening her eyes, Via woke from her much needed slumber. The new slave was still held by Narenja as if she was a doll but they were laid on the giant bed within the lair this time. Accidentally, she moved her body a little bit, enough to stir up the Snake Goddess.
Her tail rattled slightly as the naga queen woke with a soft, rumbling purr. She glanced down at the woman in her coils, confused at firzt. But then she remembered. And smiled softly.
Via remembered too, regretting that it wasn't nightmare that she can wake up from. The young human lowered her eyes in submission.
The constriction around Via's body loosened. "Get up, Nameless," was what Narenja said with a soft yawn.
With a slient nod, Via obeyed her mistress. She stood up and got off from the bed on the left, when her stomach growl loudly. The new slave kept her peace, until asking.
"What is your will?"
"My will?" A soft chuckle left Narenja. "Make sure you don't starve."
Surprise overtook Via when Narenja answered. She was hungery, but why would this monster care about her needs?
Then again, the Naga wanted her alive to keep using as a pet, Via reminded herself bitterly. For a former warrior like herself this was absolutely degrading.
Via kept her mouth shut but the stomach growl even more out in hungry protest.
"I'd like you to put a stop to those unsightly noises. Make yourself scarce and find food," she commanded.
Via did as commanded. In many ways she was glad to be away from the snake lady, regardless of temporary it will be.
She walked away from the bed and looked around the room and spotted a tray filled with a couple of fruit, half of them half eaten. It didn't matter to Via, she went after the fruit like a dog. With many of her fingers still broken, she had to eat with her hands carefully.
Even so it was a bit painful for her.
Narenja just laid back on the bed, closing her eyes with a soft rumble in her chest.
Via finally finished her meal. After that she sat on the floor amidst the bones around her. It reminded her how easily she could still end up as Narenja's next meal, if the Naga grew bored with her.
The slave shook visibly at the very thought. Obviously by this point, she realized that strength alone will not earn survival. Other means such as cunning will have to be used instead.
For now she will have to keep playing as a pet until escape can be an option, if if ever will be. Then she heard a large gong rung outside the cave. It was a signal by Narenja's worshippers that they have another human sacrifice for their goddess to devour.
And so, the naga queen rose and slithered towards the pit again, a man being put infront of him. And unless like with Via, she didn't waste time. The man was dead within two seconds. Completely devoured by Narenja within half a minute.
The captive stayed where she was as her mistress was occuiped. Thankfully she couldn't hear whatever transpired in the pit, it would sicken her.
She busy herself by looking around the cave, to see if there any other exits. There seem to be none, it made sense, since the Naga left her unbound in any form when departing.
Upon hearing the sound of Narenja slithering back inside, Via stood up and went to see her. She greeted the snake goddess with a bow of submission, on her knees and hands to the floor.
"You should put those fingers back straight," Narenja suggested as she glanced down at Via, seeing her fingers. "Else they will heal as a crooked mess."
Agreeing with her 'owner' Via proceeded to set her fingers back on straight one by one. It was tormenting process, she did grunted and almost scream a few times until finally done.
Looking back up at Narenja, she gulped down and asked.
"How I may serve you today?"
"Hm," the naga queen tutted her lips and tapped them idly. "I'd rather not have your hands damaged, so I'll wait untill your fingers have healed. I can accelate the healing process granted I get the right ingredients."
Do not turn away a gift.
Via reminded herself, when hearing the Queen's comments.
"What are the ingredients?" She asked with curiosity in her tone.
Narenja chuckled softly. "That doesn't concern you, Nameless. I was musing aloud."
Though annoyed by the reminder, Via kept her expression netural while meekly saying.
"Yes mistress."
Then she spread her arms open wide, offering to the Naga to hug her once more for warmth.
"While I admire your eagerness, now is not the time," Narenja waved dismissively. "I have business to attend to. Make yourself scarce."
Doing as was bid, Via found herself a corner and sat down. The slave now realized that she shouldn't come across as too eager or else her Naga mistress will get annoyed with her. It's for the best that she waited it out.
Narenja hissed softly, before starting to completely dematerialize where she stood. There were other places her attentions were needed.
And she left Via all alone in the sanctuary.
Shock filled Via's expression when she witnessed the Naga completely disappeared.
Is she truly a goddess? Via asked herself, in uncomfortable silence.
The human spent her time, washing herself in an nearby waterfall pool, then ate some more from leftovers for lunch. Afterward she went back to the corner and closed her eyes in order to rest.
It was only two days later that the naga queen returned to her lair, a dark purple and grey tear opening in the wall, her slithering out again. She glanced around the sanctuary.
Narenja would find her lair actaully be cleaned in her absence. Via who have been exercising, by repeating a series of punches and kicks over and over again, until spotting her mistress's return.
The human slave silently bowed to her knees in front of the Naga.
The naga queen arched an eyebrow as her sanctuary was cleaned to some extent. She glanced at Via, who got to her knees in a silent greeting. "You.. Cleaned up?" The naga inquired with a soft huff.
"Yes" Via answered while kneeling.
"Why?" Narenja asked with a soft frown.
Growing fearful, Via considered her options. She could flatter her mistress by saying it was done solely for her, but the slave had a feeling that would earn her getting eaten alive on the spot.
Instead Via opted for the truth. With a sigh, she explained, keeping her eyes down.
"I didn't have much do here mistress while you were gone."
"I see," Narenja answered with a soft hum. "Thank you. How are your fingers?"
Slighty Via's mood brighten at the mention of her fingers when she replied.
"They're getting better."
"Good," Narenja replied with a soft hiss, before crawling over to the bed, pulling herself on the bed, closing her eyes.
Via hesitated for a minute before she joined her mistress at the bed. She laid and curled up on top of Narenja's stomach like a pet would for warmth.
The snake queen wrapped her arms around Via, pulling her closer with a soft snort. "That's a good pet."
