Physical Description
Fade is a young, human female that stands at only 5 feet and 4 inches. She is known for her long black hair, crimson colored eyes, and slim frame. She is usually wearing a dark sleeveless mini dress with a white collar and a red tie; along with a red belt that has a red side skirt cover. She wears it with long black socks and black shoes. She also has red gauntlets and black gloves. More often then not though, she can be seen sporting a long black coat with her armored body plating underneath. But never a lot, as she favors speed over armor.

Spoiler

(Akame from Akame Ga Kill)
[close]

Personality
Cold. Distant. And Serious are best three words that describe Fade's personality. From a very young age, she was trained to be an efficient, and ruthless killer. Because of this, she is very coldhearted and serious. Brutally honest about everything, she is also extremely brave. Not afraid to tell people off, no matter who they are. To most, Fade's personality is that of a ghost. She rarely speaks, and when she does it's always reflecting her cold persona. She seems to share no sympathy, empathy, or any sort of kindness. Fade's only goals are to serve the Mordecai, and she isn't afraid to whatever it takes in order to do so.

Magic/Abilities

Mordecai: Fade is a Mordecai. Because of this, she has a natural aura that nullifies all magic in a mile 1/2 radius.

Vairu: The name of Fade's legendary blade. A long Katana that she usually wields single handed. The blade itself is extremely sharp as one would expect from a Katana, and is almost 6 feet long. It's handle is usually wrapped by a red leather, with crude symbols carved into it. Over the many years, Fade has learned how to wield this weapon with expert precision. She is very fast, and never misses her mark...

Relationships

History
Fade had a very dark childhood... She was born into a Serenian farming village, with average parents who worked hard as farmers. None of the people in her village were mages, so no one was aware that Fade had Mordecai powers... Not even the girl herself. However, every once in a while a mage or two would travel through the small village, and notice their magic didn't work. Not knowing the reasons why, they soon would spread tales of this strange little town, declaring it as a "Cursed Village." No one knowing Fade was the source of this.

When she was only 5 years old, the girl had encountered a strange, hooded figure in the fields one day. He simply asked Fade a few questions about herself, and she answered them truthfully. Without saying anything else, he left... And that night the girl found herself kidnapped. For 12 years, she was trained as an assassin. the group that kidnapped her were a highly skilled group of rouges who specialized in contract killings. Finding out Fade was a Mordecai, they trained her to kill their targets who were powerful mages. Over the many years, she became a ruthless and cold killer. Never afraid to take a life. However, it wasn't long until her talents were put to bigger uses... The ambitions of the assassin group grew bigger, and they wanted to test their luck.

One night, Fade found herself in Reajh. She was tasked with assassinating the Grand Mordecai Artorias. Easily getting passed the guards, Fade attempted to fight the Grand Mordecai with the rest of her assassin group. However, it did not go as plan. His power was too great, and he killed off the entire clan, except for Fade. She was knocked out during the conflict, and awoke later. She was spared, and the Grand Mordecai recognized her potential, and recruited her to join the Mordecai of Connlaoth... Becoming his personal apprentice.

You're sailing across the Hivan ocean on your regular travels for whatever reasons that may be, when your ship encounters a strange, ominous green fog! Before your navigator can steer away from the dark mist, it completely engulfs your vessel! Soon, every single crew member falls to the deck. Knocked out cold by the strange magical fog...

An unknown amount of time later, you finally awaken. The feeling of soft sand on your cheek, and hot sun bearing down on you in a cloudless sky. You're on an island! The rest of the people from your crew are also on the island, and it seems everyone is still alive, although one thing is out of place... Where is your ship? How on earth did you get stranded on this island? The last thing you can remember was falling to a deep sleep after the green mist entered your lungs, and now you're here! But it's not only you... It seems dozens of others have all encountered the same fog, and can relay the same tale as you... Something dark is stirring on this island, as you can feel it in your bones. And the fact that you can't use any magic won't help things either...

SECRET OF THE FALLEN ISLAND

Hello all! I have created this mini plot for those who're interested in a little adventure, mystery, and puzzle solving! Basically, your char and whoever is on the ship that they were on have all been mysteriously transported to a mystical island. At first glance, it looks like any normal tropical island on the Hivan ocean, but as you'll soon discover, it harbors a dark secret... The first hint will be the fact that it nullifies all magic! The goal for our band of protagonists will be simple at first: Figure out how they got on the island, and figure out how to get off of it.

Of course, the deeper into the story they venture, the darker it will become. Soon it will be a matter that won't only effect them, but something that could have an impact on a much larger scale...

I will be Roleplaying as my first, and possibly favorite character: Captain Soulscar! (Mythica) And the mysterious antagonist who has yet to be revealed. Note their aren't any main protagonists for this story, so anyone can join. However, I must note I am only looking for a max of 6 people. Just comment below if you have a char who you want to join, and give a reason as to why they're traversing the Hivan ocean!

(Disclaimer: If you want to be an antagonist, please PM me either through discord or the site. DO NOT post their profile in this thread, as we want to keep their identities secret. Also, it is encouraged that you make a new character if you want to be an antagonist, as this island is not known to anyone but the inhabitants. We will discuss lore through PM.)

Protagonists
- Mythica Soulscar A young and skillful pirate captain! She sails the Seraph's Requiem, her flagship.

- Silver C. A bandit running from her past! What she's running into is probably worse then what she's trying to get away from though.

Antagonists
- To be revealed at a later date...

Niahi Woods / Darkest Before The Dawn [Salzem]
October 29, 2016, 11:12:13 AM
Silence... That was all that could be heard... The sound of nothing, as the trees stood guard over the darkened forest floor. The moon had climbed high into the sky, and had almost reached its peak. The white moonlit trees casted long, ominous shadows across the wood, making anything that move have the effect of a lone ghost in the distance... Soon, a sound was heard. The snapping of twigs. Narumi, a large black fox. The creature had been walking slowly, and without aim. How long had it been anyways? A month? Maybe two? She couldn't remember... Her mind had been clouded in so much pain and sorrow for previous events, that the Kitsune couldn't even make an effort to keep track of the time. Right now, her only focus was to learn more about the world she was forced to adopt as her new lifestyle. So far she had learned many things, but had yet to really make any contact with the inhabitants. She was always unsure before reaching into their minds. So many strange and new living beings she had never encountered perform seemed to call this place "Le'ranna" home... Not only that, but a good lot of them seemed to carry their own magical power... Power she had never seen before... That was another downside to her curse... Narumi could no longer alternate to her Yokai form any longer. She had been stuck in her Kitsune self because of the dark seal placed upon her soul. Not only that, but most of her former power had been ripped away as well. She could no longer sense the other plain, although she wasn't sure if she wanted too anymore. It had become a nest of shadows for dark and evil things...

Either way, the entire situation had taken weight on the fox's mind once again, and in turn she began to feel tired. Even spirits need to sleep. The fox walked around the bases of a few trees before finding one to suite her needs. She simply curled herself up around the the tree, her long black tail laced the base and rested beside her head as she lowered it, and shut her pale blue eyes...

Physical Description

Kitsune Yokai: Like all Kitsune Yokai, Narumi had taken the appearance of a fairly normal human female, except she had two long fox ears, and a long black fox tail with a white tip. She had shoulder length black hair, and deep golden eyes that glow cyan when using magic. Her teeth are more akin to a fox however, having sharper canines instead of regular human's. She liked to wear a black vest, with usually a white buttoned shirt underneath. Her pants were usually short, ending at her upper thigh. Her long, slender legs bore black stalkings, and white boots. However, her most notable piece of clothing is her long, blue scarf. It is almost always hanging around her neck.

Kitsune: While it is her original form, Narumi much prefers her Kitsune Yokai form. Her Kitsune form makes her take on the appearance of a large, black and blue fox. Her long tail can actually split into 9 when she exhibits her magical abilities. Along her body are faint glowing blue lights, that are a much paler shade of her eyes.

Image removed. Please read our art usage policy. Thank you!

Personality
There was once a time when Narumi was a fairly happy, and kind Kitsune. However, recent events have changed that... Making it a remnant of the past. Now, Narumi seems quiet. Always angry at something. And easily annoyed. She's cold and resentful, and rarely shows sympathy for others. However, Narumi still has a just soul. Remembering her job, she has taken it more seriously now then she has before. She will always try and help others in life threatning situations, but she will never seem happy about it. She also has a tendency to sniff out evil doers, and try to the best of her abilities to halt their plans. Although, if you can get on her good side, Narumi can be extremely loyal to her friends, and will do anything to protect them from harm.

Magic/Abilities
Because of her status as a Spirit Guide, Narumi had many magical abilities gifted to her from the alternate plain known as Rivari. She specialized in manifesting magical energy from the lost, and saddened souls who passed onto the next life without achieving their purpose. They would lend her power in exchange for her protection from necromancy... However, recent events have left her with just a fraction of her former power. She was cursed, and her Kitsune Yokai form had been stolen, along with the majority of her power... Now Narumi can only communicate with other beings telepathically. Occasionally she can still use a flicker of her former might if her emotions are strong enough, but these instances are rare.

Relationships

History
There is another world... An alternate plain... Simply known as Rivari. Rivari, much like Le'ranna, was filled with life and magic. And it was home to many primitive, yet powerful spirits. Narumi was one such spirit. She had been created by the goddess of Rivari to watch over the fallen souls who had unfulfilled goals they could not achieve in life. She had done this for hundreds of years, until a great darkness came... It grew right under her nose, and Narumi still blames herself for letting it get as powerful as it was. By the time the great shadow revealed itself, it was already too late...

In 6 short years, Rivari had fallen. Converted into a world of chaos and plague, there was nothing the Kitsune spirit could do to halt the black fog... As such, Narumi and her kin were hunted by the creatures of shadow, until the goddess finally intervened when all hope began to fade... Using the last of her power, the goddess opened a gate to another world, and cast out her spirit children, while she sacrificed herself to hold off the Black Death that came for her...

Narumi had awoken in a black void... The golden light from her eyes could not illuminate the thick smaug surrounding her body, and intoxicating her senses. She called out to her friends, but there came no answer... She felt cold, and alone... Until the architect of her world's destruction finally revealed themselves. Manifesting out of the black mist, a being of evil aura formed. The two eyes glowed with a pale red light as it stared at the Kitsune Yokai...

"Your soul is required, and it will be taken... You will be banished to the world of light... Narumi, the vixen... You will forever be branded with the seal of the Revenant..." With that, Narumi was instantly transformed. The fog swarmed her body, changing her once bright white fur into a inky black... And she was reverted to her Kitsune state...

Narumi now wanderers Le'ranna. A cursed spirit, tainted by a dark power from another realm... With no known way to break her curse, and become a Kitsune Yokai again... Until a way is found, she will forever remain the Shaded Vixen...

Reajh / Venting Steam [Klezmer Gryphon]
October 23, 2016, 03:40:34 PM
The small, rather young figure worked silently trying to avoid the much taller people in the busy street. She had tattered rags, shoeless feet, and a torn brown hood concealing most of her face. First lookers would assume she was just a child, and they'd be right. The girl was only 14 years of age, and it was obvious she was nothing but a lowly beggar. An orphaned kid with no family, trying to survive in the hostile, unforgiving surroundings of the capital. Reajh was by far no place for a small girl with no one to look out for her... Luckily that wasn't entirely the case for this one. She had a friend. Together they worked to survive in the inhospitable city, no matter who they would be turned into in order to do it...

Peering out of the brown hood were two gleaming red eyes, and long strands of red hair fell over the girl's shoulders. Her eye's seemed focused on one general direction, as she was careful to avoid being shoved or better yet, noticed by the warm of people passing her. The guards didn't seem to care, as she was far from the only beggar on the streets of Connlaoth's capital. The civil war had effects on everyone...

A few minutes of walking, the girl quickly took a detour. Ducking underneath some large troll looking merchant, she walked down a darker alley way. Paying no attention to her surroundings as she apparently caught the attention of a few other street folk...

"OI! Rin isn't it? Ye still owe me for that slice of bread you stole from us!" Rin turned, recognizing the voice. "3 gold pieces or a fresh loaf of bread! NOW!" The man bellowed. Rin stood silent for a moment, staring at the two larger men. "Do I look like I have anything on me? You'd be better trying to catch rats like the filthy dogs you are." She said, her voice confident and unafraid. For a moment, they were taken back by her sudden response, but then they smirked. His friend nudged him, and he reached for something behind his back. With a small glint of silver, he pulled out a rather crude looking piece of sharp glass. "Me an ma pal don't take no for an answer, now cmere you little rat!" He yelled angrily. Rin's eyes widened, and she began to run. As fast as her legs could carry her, but it wouldn't be long until the taller men would catch up to her.

Turn, duck, slide and jump. Living many years on the streets had taught her a few things. She needed to be fast, and versatile. She had also become rather flexible, managing to effortlessly dodge the various obstacles in her path as her two chasers were gaining ground. "We'll send you back to your dirty mongrel friend in pieces!"

School Outfit
Cyn is a young girl with long black hair and deep red eyes. Standing at 5 feet and 5 inches, she is the average height for a girl her age. Her hair is usually tied into two twin tails that hang elegantly over her shoulders, having her long bangs cover the majority of the left side of her face. Including her left eye. Cyn is often seeing wearing her Mage's school uniform. It consists of a black vest with the crest adorned on the left side, and a blue skirt...

Clock Eyed
Of course, that's just her facade. Cyn's true, and much more preferred form is that of a long black and orange frilled dress! She usually wears this with a similar colored bonnet on her head, creating two uneven twin tails to fall over her sides. But the most noticeable feature is her left eye... Instead of being a regular crimson hue, it is the color of a golden clock. No pupil, no iris. Just a yellow clock complete with all the hands and numbers of a pocket watch...

Image removed. Please read our art usage policy. Thank you!

Casual
Cyn's regular out of combat outfit consists of a black and white dress, while her hair is usually let down without the use of ribbons. It has rose pedals usually threaded into her locks, while her left eye is covered by a white eye patch.

Image removed. Please read our art usage policy. Thank you!

Personality
Cyn has a few screws loose. The first thing you'll learn about her. She's known to always have a smile on her face, and is completely insane. She's a psychopath who loves blood shed, and destruction in all its forms. However, she tends to like obliteration the most. She's almost always happy about something, and because of this can create a somewhat unstable aura around her and her allies. Because of her mental stability, Cyn is known to be somewhat arrogant, but never in a foolish way. She knows when she can or can't do something, because her magic can always tell her.

Magic/Abilities

Time Shift
Cyn is a time mage, but not just any. She's very advanced, and can manipulate the currents of time to however she pleases. While most of the time her spells only affect her, she's been known to amplify their power to cause and affect larger areas. The most notice amplifiers are clock towers. With these, she can send entire towns backwards or forwards in time to however long she wants. This is usually how she causes her destruction, by removing anything to destroy from existence in the first place...

Only a few hours ago, Vaia had left Ketra. The young girl walked along the plains as the silent moon hung far in the sky above her. The grass swaying slowly in the soft night breeze. The sky was cloudless, so the lunar light provided the only light source the girl needed in order to make her way across the flat plains. Of course she wasn't alone. She was being accompanied by two rather odd looking individuals. A tall, slender man with dark skin and fairly noticable horns protruding from his head. The other was an armoured man, fairly menacing looking. However she seemed unconcerned by them.

Only a few hours before, they had rescued Vaia from a group of Draconina zealots who were hired to kidnap her. The reason? She didn't know, but had the intention of finding out. The only clue had been a small note on one of the Draco's bodies. It indicated their leader's name and location, but the purpose was still a mystery. It mentioned her amulet that hung around Vaia's neck, but she had no idea why. It was only a memento from her father. She turned her head back to Rylzyr and Mortum for a moment before looking down at the amulet.

The leader was apparently named Nazix. And he was located, or at least thought to be located in a place called Blood Dust Grotto. Of course that Grotto wasn't a place Vaia had heard of, neither of her companions had either. So her goal was to visit someone who may. A while back Vaia had done a job for a merchant who need protection from bandits. She had managed to escort him safely to his destination, which was actually to a smaller mercenary guild which specialized in finding bandit's hideouts and exposing them. She knew where thy were located, and was confident she could get their help finding this "Blood Dust Grotto." They usually were based in a small village not far from Ketra. Only about a night's journey...

She looked over to Rylzyr. "These guys are our best chance at finding this place. Try not to be... Y'know... Rude or anything?" She told him. Based on previous experience, she knew this Rylzyr fella wasn't the most friendly person. Especially to their other companion, Mortum. Hopefully their bickering wouldn't cost them the location of this hideout...

Rin is a young woman with long, fiery red hair. And deep Crimson colored eyes to match. Standing at 5 feet and 6 inches, she doesn't look very intimidating. The woman usually wears a long leather coat, and a vest covering a thin layer of chainmale underneath. Also sporting long, worn leather pants, it's obvious Rin only takes the necessities... At least when it comes to clothing. On her person, she wears a thing strap on either leg, with a small dagger sheathed on both. A long belt sporting a few pockets with viles filled with unknown liquids, and a long steel sword that hangs from her hip.

Personality
Rin is usually a content and calm woman to most, however that is just what she portrays on the outside. Inside, Rin is an opportunist! Looking for anything that could help benefit her and her cause in any way shape or form. Because of this, she can be rather secretive, and is unusually hard to gain her true trust. Most of the time it being an act to further her cause. But despite all the sneaky stuff she does, Rin has the right idea about things. Or so she thinks anyways. her desires align themselves with the freedom fighters of Connlaoth, and wants nothing more than to topple the evil government ruling her homeland. She had been raised almost entirely by the Soot Wolves of Serendpity during her younger years, and has picked up many skills off of their group. She hopes to use these newfound skills to assist her goals in Connlaoth and find ways to better the situation. Her job requires a lot of deceit, so it is unwise to trust this red head at first meeting..

Magic/Abilities
No known magical abilites. However, she does possess a strong affinity to the element of fire, but Rin doesn't know this yet.

Relationships
The only relationship Rin has had was with her best friend: Tàrocai Mhuìcaduir. The only person who's looked out for her, and vice versa.

History
Born in the city of Reajh, Rin's parents were both skilled mages. She lived in a poorer section of town, but her family managed to get by with what they had. That was until the Civil War broke out. The door to her house was broken down, and Mordacai came in and took her parents away. They left the girl all alone on the street as she watched her home burn... This was at the age of 9.

Not long after, the guards came for her as well. Knowing all too well what would happen if they caught her, Rin had to flee from Reajh, with her only friend Tarocai. Through many months of wandering, and stopping at random villages and townships, Rin eventually found a caravan of refugees being assisted by freedom fighters into Serendipity. She followed suite, and ended up in the more calm country. There she spent the majority of her life, where she eventually made contact and joined with the elusive "Soot Wolves" guild, and was trained by them for many years.

Eventually, Rin would turn back to her homeland, and grew a grim expression at the state of the war. Knowing she couldn't abandon it any longer, she took her weapon and training, and journeyed north. Now Rin comes to Connlaoth with the desire to assist her kingdom... And she knew just the way to do it...

The night was rather silent. Every thing seemed to lie completely still in the cool breeze that traversed it's way through the peaks of the large mountain range. As the moon continued to climb higher and higher into the sea of stars far above the world, nothing changed. The eerie stillness was only broken with a sudden shadow. A very large shadow. Quickly it was followed by the sound of wings. Nevira soared high above the Thunderblacks, her violet eyes trained below... She had been searching for something. Her snout let out a few sniffs as if she was tracking something, but her course never changed. The giant black dragon's wings were followed by small  streams of black mist, but she seemed to pay no attention to it. It was simply a side effect of the terrible abomination she had transformed into... Wasn't that why she was doing this? After so many years alone in the empty void... Trapped by the very people she swore to get rid of... And now she was this. The polar opposite of what she was supposed to be so many years ago. A monster of terrible power, with an endless hunger for vengeance towards the evil that had corrupted her heart... And she knew she wasn't the only one... She knew someone who could relate to her... Someone of almost equal strength  who had also been trapped in another realm for far too long... Nevira couldn't help but smirk at the thought of how much they must have changed... Hell was just as unforgiving as the Void...

Sensing something, the massive Novian gazed towards an oddly colored black mountain, with a very large cave dug into it's side. Her memory went back, and she quickly remembered this place... A very dark, and disturbing mountain to be sure, given its history. In a time long before now, when Nevira was different, she had fought a great battle here... To purge the demonic essence tat crept from the portal... The portal had been used by a large cult of demon worshipers many eons before... It was the only mountain in the range that had remained the same shape after all this world's time. The laws of nature had no effect on it... Nevira quickly angled her wings and began her descent. Moments later, she landed her feet at the mouth of the cave, peering steadily inside... She could still feel it. The anger, the hatred, the sadness, and death... All of these things gave any who walked inside the mountain a sense of darkness from days long past. Now the feeling was only but a flicker, yet it still remained. It was all the Novian needed...

The dragon slowly walked inside the open cavern. Paying no attention to the blackness of the rocks, and the faintly red glowing cracks on the walls as she continued deeper... These cracks illuminated the large cave just enough for sight to be possible, but Nevira needed none to know where she was headed. The feelings of death and destruction only continued to get stronger as the Novian snaked her way deeper and deeper. The moonlit entrance had all but faded behind Nevira, instead it was replaced by the intensified glow of the red cracks surrounding the tunnel.

A few minutes later, Nevira had finally reached the opening to a much larger cavern... It was very long as well. Her purple gaze pierced the end of it. About 400 feet in front of her was a large pedestal made of ancient black rock... The orange cracks on the walls and ground would continue to snake their way towards it. They seemed to form a circular pattern around it, as attached to this pedestal were two long jagged stone structures that curled around upwards, making them look like large fangs sticking from the surface... And what caught the dragon's eye was the crudely carved symbol into the black stone... It lied dormant on the cold rock.

This was the chamber where the demons arose from... That stone arch being the foundation of the ancient portal that led straight to the underworld... To Hell.

"Your time to return to the world of light has come my friend..." She silently growled under her breath...

Nevira's long tail would start to scrape against the stone underneath her, it leaving a scar in the rock as it slid. This scar then began to glow a faint color of purple... Purple whisps of mist started to appear from it as well. Her tail continued to drag along the surface until she deemed the crack long enough...

"Ka'los tavarrr... Savour du'mm shavakes doer tremour kevora l'akinz rovaian'tallstude..."
From the depths of the magma... Heed the screams of terror and let the flame of agony serve to feed the realm of fire...

"Sh'avvari galent tuva frair uslain, kaladorm ovan'tall... Kavori hevairoan un stallas junoz yeirgha taroves..."
Shadow and flame fuel the sins of the light... Let the catalyst of horror rise to salvation. Let the sins of the unworthy be baptized in the flaming blood...

"Koras t'uvarin iylavant ro'lsation ravant Mazaloth!"
Revive the fifth sin, Agony. Rise Mazaloth!

Nevira chanted. The crack from which she had drawn with her tail brightened, only to have the orange cracks brightened, and then expanded! With large stone shifted crack sounds, the crevices began to break into thicker lines, until they converged with the purple! The crevice burst into a color of sienna, and then suddenly began eating away the rock in front of it as it busted straight forwards towards the pedestal! As soon as the crack made contact, the rune began to glow the same color...

Nevira simply sat upright, a dark smile on her lip as she watched her success... How he would react was still unknown. However she was confident he'd sense the power she possessed... After all, she just rescued him.

Nazix is a brute! The lizard is a very large, green scaled draconian that stands at 10 feet tall. He has yellow eyes, with two black slits acting as his pupils. His face is more akin to a crocodile's, sporting a long snout, all lined with razor sharp fangs capable of tearing flesh right off the bone! He has two long, beefy arms, with 5 claws on each, matching his legs as well. Across his scales are black scar like patterns that end underneath both his eyes, and reach down to his chest. His tail stretches 6 feet long, and has enough strength to knock over a full grown man head over heels! Nazix is a monster of strength, and uses his appearance to intimidate others. Clad over almost every inch of scale is his steel armor plating, which looks as if it was created SPECIFICALLY for him. The steel is covered in streaks of war paint, and possibly the blood of his fallen foes. Nobody knows!

Nazix for the most part is a very, VERY angry Draconian. He is arrogant and outright controlling. He can get annoyed easily, and most of the time it results in a broken limb for someone else if it ever comes to that. He has a constant blood lust, and thirst for power and control over those he deems unworthy of ruling. No wonder he immideatly jumped to help Nevira as soon as he heard about her conquest to rid Adela of humans. He particularly has a strong distaste for the species, and usually makes them his prime targets when his bandit clan goes on raids. However arrogant or proud he may seem, Nazix is still a smart and cunning reptile. He knows how to sniff out his enemie's strengths and weaknesses, and is careful never to underestimate them. Not only that, but he is also a very good manipulator. He can influence dozens through his speeches, acting as moral lifters when in reality he is usually playing the people he is speaking too.

Magic/Abilities
For one thing, Nazix is very strong, and uses this as to his advantage the most. The draconian wields a giant curved sword that has magic power infused to it. The sword itself has green runes carved into its blade, and when they begin to glow, it usually influences his abilites to fit his goal. They can give him outstanding speed and ferocity, as well as the power to deflect other spells no matter what element they come off of. The blade is the reason why he has become so successful in his bandit career. Many other Draconians had come under his command, and he likes to personally train his group, which is why they are always skilled in their fields. The blade itself he has called "Venom Fang" to reflect its dark green aura.

Relationships
The only relationships Nazix has is with the blood and gold of his victims.

History
Nothing is really known about Nazix. No one really knows where he came from, or why he hates humans so much. All they know is that after obtaining "Venom Fang" he became a successful bandit leader, and his name is well known and feared among others as his clan only consists of Draconians.

Hyoite / Frozen Stars [Heretic King]
August 13, 2016, 07:57:14 AM
It was dark... And empty. The only sound that could be heard was the whipping whirlwind of snow and ice only separated by a few meters of cold stone. A single light shone from above. A window slit let the light from the morning storm shine into the dark room, while a once burning fire was little more then a few coals by now. They died at the edge of the large fireplace. Across, near 5 feet, was a rather large bed. It had white sheets, and beside it was a much smaller in comparison night side table. On the table lied a single object, a purple hat. As the storm grew louder, a figure began to stir in the bed, before suddenly it rose up. This was Mavis. A young girl who had lived in Hyoite the entirety of her life. She had never even ventured far from the castle she was situated in. The girl slowly looked around the dark room,, trying to recall what she had been doing. Then she realized she had just awoken. Giving an annoyed sigh, she silently got out of bed.

Her Crimson gaze locked on the dresser, she pulled out her favorite purple shirt and dress. Within a few minutes she had changed from her long white nightgown into her white skirt and purple buttoned shirt. Mavis opened the large door to her bedroom to reveal an even darker stone hallway. Peering into the eerie blackness, she raised a hand. Suddenly a bright yellow light shone from her palm. It easily illuminated the surroundings, as she silently walked down the dark hallway. Nothing but the sound of a raging whirlwind to comfort her.

A few minutes of this, she arrived at a twisting staircase. She descended it into a much larger chamber, which was completely lit by a huge fire, constantly roaring its place. "Enevia, ma'am. Situation normal. Nothing to report." Her tired gaze looked over to see an armoured fellow holding a rather dangerous looking spear. His face covered by the meal mesh to protect it. "Oh... Is grandfather up yet?" "No ma'am. He is still asleep in the tower." Mavis's gaze grew sad. "Oh..." The guard leaned down a bit to her level. "The maid has already prepared breakfast however." He said in a friendly tone, in an effort to cheer her up. Her gaze didn't perk up. "Very well, I'll be there in a few minutes..." "Of course! Braylon! Kallus! To the ramparts!" He yelled at two guards standing near the large door into the chamber. They nodded before exiting.

Mavis soon found herself on a large balcony of the rather large castle. She didn't mind the snowstorm that whipped her white hair around. She admired the view. In the distance she could see the edge of the clouds, and the red sun starting to peer over the large Kilanthro mountain range. She sighed, putting her hands on the railing. The caste had been hundreds of years old. Built by her ancestors, the first of the great Enevia Mage family. However, those were past times. Only Mavis and her grandfather were members of the Enevia family now... And she was sure she was going to be the last. Her mother died of illness, and her father went crazy and ventured off to Connalaoth to support the mage's in the civil war. She never saw him again...

Ketra / Saving Grace [Darkened Skies Event]
July 11, 2016, 07:16:20 AM
"397, 398, 399, 400..." The young girl whispered to herself as she sat on an old withered tree stump. In her hand was a rather large coin purse, which she had been making sure all the expected coin was still there. After thoroughly examining the purse, she smiled and set it down beside her. With a tired sigh, she fell backwards on the old stump, and stared up at the sky with her crimson coloured eyes. Another job done. After almost a week of tracking, she had finally managed to find the dragon slavers. This job had required a lot of stealth and cunning. Luckily the girl possessed both of these qualities. With her quick thinking, she had easily made her way passed the slavers, and released their captive dragon in the middle of their camp. The girl didn't even need to unsheathe her blade after that... The dragon had made quick work of the unprepared and surprised slavers. After which it had thanked the girl for freeing them, and even offered to fly her to a location anywhere in Adela as repayment. However, the girl's expression changed from satisfaction to a somewhat depressed look. She remembered asking the large dragon of he had seen another of his kind. A much older dragon by the name of Xenin. The beast answered honestly, and did not recognize the name. The girl slowly leaned up and looked down at her chest. The small silver and purple amulet sat silently, glistening in the afternoon sun. She held it in one hand and observed it for a moment. What was the point? Why was she given this? What had her dragon mentor decided to keep a secret before his sudden disappearance? So many questions had ran through her head, but this wasn't unusual. She'd often find her mind going back to the amulet whenever she thought about her mentor. However, all thoughts were suddenly shattered with the abrupt interruption of a familiar voice behind her.

"Vaia, it's time to leave. The caravan is ready." Her head turned to see an older fellow dressed in commoner's clothes. "Huh? Oh Uhhh... Right." Vaia responded somewhat delayed. She slowly looked back at the amulet and quickly hid it underneath her chest piece. She stood up, grabbed the coin purse, adjusted the blade on her back, and followed the man down the path...

Out of everyone in the caravan, Vaia was probably the one who stood out the most. Her long violet hair, bright red bandana, and dark violet clothing made her stick out. However, that was the intention. Vaia usually cared little about her looks, as they never helped her accomplish her goals before. Evident by the long blade on her back, she wasn't the most... "Lady like" girl. Still only 15 years of age, her mindset was only looking for one thing. Accomplishment. To put it simply, she was a merc. Most would be surprised by this fact. Her young age and status as a girl built onto their shock. But that never changed the fact that she was damn good at her job. Her long silver outlined blade wasn't normal. Or at least, not anymore. In Ketra she managed to pay a wizard a very large sum of gold to put an enchantment on her weapon. Now it had the power to release magical energy at her opponents with every swing, as well as give the holder very fast reaction time and speed. Best part was that no one else could use her sword in the same way. The enchantment was bounded to Vaia alone. The weapon which she carried in a long sheath on her back went by the name of "Phantom Bite"  it's sharp edge had carried her through many dangers, and never once failed her. For now however, her hands stayed tightly gripped along the reigns of her horse. As the large wooden wagon traveling beside her slowly made it's way through the thicket of the Draconi forest. She tried to stand out for a simple reason. Were the common bandit raid occur, they'd most likely see her first, thinking she was an easy target. Of course they'd be wrong if they decided to proceed under this assumption. But by the time they realized that, the wagon would already be too far ahead for them to think about ignoring the girl and going after it.

After many hours of uneventful travel, the group had reached their destination. Vaia sat on her horse silently, staring at the city of Ketra... Capital of Adela. After quickly observing the plains that divided her and the city, she waved her hand, signalling the caravan that the path was safe. After she waved it through, it wasn't long until they had reached the main gates. The sun had started to set on the horizon as she approached the guards waving the common traders, visitors, mercenaries and so on through. She didn't get much more then an odd look before given permission to enter the city...

Now the rest of the evening Vaia had already planned. She'd spend some of the gold at her favourite inn, and rest for the night. After all, she was very tired. Probably not the best condition for being on the job, but luckily that factor was never put to the test. Her shoulders were sore, and so was her back. Despite a Phantom being relatively light, it still wore Vaia down if she had it worn for extended periods of time. She'd need to look into that. Maybe there was a spell she cold put on it to make lighter? However, the most unusual thing was how heavy her neck felt... Something was odd about it, but she payed little attention.

A few minutes from entering the large city, Vaia quickly dispatched the horse. It wasn't hers after all. The caravan leader quickly thanked her for her service, and gave her the agreed amount of gold. She took it, and turned down the street... The girl's senses had been somewhat dulled from fatigue, which was why she had no idea a small group of shady looking Draconians had been eyeing her carefully from a distance...

Plotting Center / Kave's Open RP
June 12, 2016, 01:46:05 PM
Hey all! Started an open RP thread with my newest character Kave Frostfur!

Anyone is welcomed to join :)

Bears, Wizards And Bandits Oh My!
#35
"Heh, is it getting colder for you my friend?" Kave asked the little human girl walking alongside him. Together the two stood out tremendously in the bleak, somewhat flat landmass the large bear had lead them in. Distant forests dotted the landscape in front, while just beyond them lied the large Kilanthro Mountain range even farther beyond the borders of Connolaoth. The night was late, as the moon in the sky far above had reached the end of its climb, and was now beginning its long descent to the edge of the world.

The large armoured bear was walking at a moderate pace. Despite the heavy battleaxe situated on his back, and the steel armour that covered his body, he was still moving at a speed less desired by him. However it was a necessity. The tiny girl beside him was no older then 11 years, and she was quite weak from the previous event. Kave grimaced as he thought back to it... Poor kid. She had to watch her parents be tortured to death. Luckily Kave managed to save her and kill the bandits before she was raped, tortured, and then killed herself. He still cursed himself for not arriving in time to save the rest of her family now. What would she do? Where would she go? For now the friendly bear was escorting her back to civilization, hoping someone reliable could look out for her.

"The wind is cold..." She responded wearily before Kave understood and stopped. He kneeled down and extended an arm. "Aye then, climb on my shoulder. Maybe my fur will keep you from getting sick." He told her with a faint smile, but a genuine look of concern still locked in his expression. She did as instructed and Kave lifted her up. She quickly adjusted the blanket she had been given around her body and fell silent against the bear's neck.

How many more of these people need to suffer because of these bandits? He thought silently as he trekked onward. He clenched his paw as he remembered the bandit's leader had gotten away.

However, he had bigger concerns. Like keeping this child alive, otherwise his entire escapade would have been pointless...

Ethnicity Exact origin unknown, but his white fur suggests somewhere from northern Le'raana
Height 2.3 M
Occupation Mercenary

Physical Description
The one thing that acts as the biggest factor about Kave's appearance is the fact that he's a white furred bear. He is a giant creature, standing at over 2 meters tall. His eyes are a piercing blue, above his black nose snout. His body is covered in thick white fur, with grey patches that look more like intricate tattoos. He will always be seen clad in armor seemingly made specifically for him. On his back he wields a giant battleaxe, only those with the strength of a bear can wield. His arms are long, and end with sharp black claws. Despite how his species usually stands, Kave prefers to stand upright, and has no problem keeping himself balanced despite his gigantic stature and weight. First impressions would suggest he is very strong, and they would be right. He prides himself in pure ferocity of brute force, rather then rely on the tedious and frankly, confusing art of magic.

Image removed. Please read our art usage policy. Thank you!

Personality
Generally, despite how he may look, Kave is usually a kind soul. He prides himself in his endless tales of battle, but none of them have ever involved the harm of innocents. He is usually content with himself, and is oddly hard to anger. The bear does still have some animal instincts locked inside him however, and they can sometimes make his actions questionable. For the most part, Kave loves the thrill of battle, hates those who would fight against people who can't, and as a result has set his mercenary work to very strict rules. However, if someone does manage to anger the bear, he can be furious. Showing off the true animal ferocity. Kave is also fully aware that his appearance may be strange to others, seeing as he is the only known sentient bear from what he can tell. However, he still goes through no effort to hide it. Preferring to stand on two feet instead of four, he is a giant among others. Easily noticeable in a crowd of common folk. He can get cocky though, and is fully confident in his skills as a fighter to show himself among the public.

Magic/Abilities
No known magical abilities, aside from being a sentient bear. He is very skilled however in combat. Specifically his giant battle axe he carries on his back, but this does not stop him from using his arms as weapons either. They have enough strength and force to rip a body in half if he felt the need to do so. His claws act as individual daggers with their sharpness as well, which Kave is careful to not let dull. Not to mention his crushing weight can easily pin down most opponents. Being a bear, his senses of smell and hearing are also quite well tuned compared to most, and using his strength, he can easily run up to very fast speeds whenever he decides to get down on all fours.

Relationships

History
No one really knows who Kave Frostfur is, or where exactly he came from. Not even the bear himself really knows. If asked, he'd simply tell the truth. He woke up one day in a cave somewhere in norther Le'ranna. His first thought was simply. "It's cold, and I'm naked." He spent many days wandering the wilds until he fell upon civilization. At first, people were of course terrified of this monster standing up right, and being perfectly capable of speech, but as time went on, more and more people eventually had gotten used to him. And not long after that, rumors of his past started to whisper. None of which Kave could either confirm or deny. Some say he was a normal bear, and then a mage came along and cast a spell, making him sentient. Others believe he is a spirit from the earth itself, taking on a mortal form to walk among others. Whatever they say about him however, Kave doesn't usually care. He tends to think more about the present then he does the past. He had found his passion in the thrill of battle. After being hired by some nervous individuals, he decided mercenary work fit him best. With his pure strength, and quick talent wielding a massive battle axe, there isn't much that can stop this bear's hunt...

Her body is rather slim, and sports violet colored hair and crimson eyes. She wears obsidian half-armour, which covers her chest and has a slight bulge, a bluebottle violet blouse and a windswept dress of the same colour beneath the armour. Image removed. Please read our art usage policy. Thank you!

Personality
Cheery and somewhat naive, Vaia displays a multitude of personality traits. For the most part she'll seem content, but that doesn't stop her from getting bored. Still pretty young, she can act quite naive, and can be quick to jump to conclusions. She craves adventure however, and can become extremely cocky, which in turn makes her exhibit somewhat reckless decisions. This goes to show she is unnaturally brave for a girl her age, and isn't afraid to step into a situation to help others, if it means putting herself in danger.

Magic/Abilities

Phantom Bite
For the most part, Vaia relies solely on her weapon. A long, purple blade with a silver outline. It's light and sharp, really the only two things Vaia needs to use it effectively. However, the weapon does posses some magical abilities. In battle, it can glow with a pink light, enhancing its speed, and damage. If used right, Vaia can release small concentrated waves of magical energy from it to hit her targets as well. It also gifts the holder with incredible speed and reaction time.

Dragon Rift Amulet

Unknown to her however, Vaia possesses a magical amulet... An amulet that contains a very ancient form of magic thought to have been lost long ago. Currently, it remains dormant, until something significant awakens it.

Relationships
Raised by this creature for the majority of her life, Vaia had a strong relationship with a dragon by the name of Xenin. However, he left her and hasn't been seen since.

History
Under the soft rain deep within the Draconi forest, the small whimper of a baby's cry could be heard. The small child laid in the arms of a woman who was propped up against a tree, a large bloodys scar drew across her chest and down to her waist. The woman was dead, the crying child still wrapped in her arms. It wasn't long until the distress of the child caused some dangerous attention. A hungry pack of wolves slowly started to stalk towards the dead body...

Something forced them to stop however, and they slowly backed away as a large shadow covered the small clearing. A large winged creature landed itself between the pack and the baby and her deceased mother. The pure sight of the dragon, and its intense glare made the wolves think twice, before they turned their backs and disappeared back into the forest. The orange scaled monster turned its attention back to the two girls. It observed the two, confirming this baby was the creature from which he heard the cries. He turned his attention to the girl who was holding her. She was indeed dead. The bloody cut across her chest was too deep for anyone to survive its blow. However, something in particular caught the dragon's eye. A small, silver amulet depicting a dragon surrounding a purple crystal laid around the dead woman's neck. He couldn't deny the sight, and knew exactly what it meant. With that, he leaned downwards and took the amulet. The crying child seemed to stop crying at his sight however. The baby would meet his stare with her own, a look of awe and curiosity filled her eyes...

This was Vaia. The dragon thought the best course of action was to protect the girl. He took the child, and raised her as his own. During her young years, he revealed to the girl his name was Xenin, and that he was a very old dragon. He taught her how to read, write, and even some form of combat. To gain more experience of the world, Xenin would encourage her to adventure on her own. Knowing the girl's secret importance however, he would never be far to come to her aid. Wherever Vaia decided to wander, he'd be close by. Guarding her from the dangers of Adela. On Vaia's 13th birthday, he gifted her the amulet he found on her dead mother's neck. Xenin never told her about where he had found it or what exactly it was. He only told her that she was to give it to her firstborn child if she would ever have any. To honor her mentor, Vaia hung it around her neck, and has been wearing it since. However, something changed that would confuse and anger Vaia. Xenin had left the girl alone. Without warning or reason, her dragon parent was gone...
Not knowing what else to do, the girl wandered through the forest until her eyes fell upon a massive city. She'd arrived at Ketra. Determined to find out what happened, the girl decided to stay within its walls to gain information she thought would come off from the crowd. It wasn't long however until others noticed how useful Vaia's skills in combat could be. Because of this, she trained herself vigorously and was hired on a multitude of assignments. Most involved her sword combat skills. Her age not even being a factor.

To this day, Vaia has taken up the occupation of a mercenary. The only thing she can do to keep herself fed... Knowing nothing about the conflict she's about to take a pivotal role in... However, as of late the girl's thoughts have darkened... Her neck has grown heavy with the amulet with each passing day... A feeling only a descendant of Mithril Fire can experience...

Serendipity / Vayrin Kandar, Wandering Adventurer

__________________QUICK STATS
Name Vayrin Kandar
Age 17
Gender Female
Species Mana-Wielder
Ethnicity Serenian
Height 5'4
Occupation Wandering Adventurer
Residence Wherever her interests take her

__________________IN-DEPTH STUFF

Physical Description
Vayrin is a young human looking individual with deep emerald coloured eyes, and blonde hair. She stands at 5 feet and 4 inches, and weighs at around 105 lbs. On her person she carries a steel straight sword, and full body leather armour. On her left arm bears intricate looking glyph tattoos. Her hair is rather long, only stopping at her mid back. Her face isn't very angular. Her small chin, and mouth serve unto this factor. On her hair is usually braided near her forehead, but in speedy situations, they often lose themselves.

Personality
Calm and cool are the best words that describe Vayrin's personality. Young and adventurous, she does crave danger. She is a kind girl, and will never intentionally harm those who do not deserve it. She can hold grudges however, and is oddly untrusting towards people she haven't met before. She always loves a good fight, and can get cocky by her duelists skills, and can exhibit recklessness.

The one thing she lusts for more then ever, is adventure. She loves the thrill of being in hazardous situations, especially if it means she can help others on the way. One can often find Vayrin poking the beast, just to see what will happen. Or intentionally getting a slaver's attention, to provide a distraction for those less fortunate. All to say, in her heart, she is a kind girl. Hoping to make a difference in other's lives, as well as spicing up her own.

Magic/Abilities
She is an excellent duelist with her straight sword, and her slim physique can make her very agile. She does exhibit some magical abilities as well. The three glyphs on her left arm represent different elemental magical conduits. Fire, Lightning, and Air. She can only use one at a time. She usually combines the elemental magic with her weapon in order to maximize its effectiveness.

Relationships
None

History
Most people don't know the glyph using Mana-Wielders. A rare species that share all similarities with humans, except for the intricate marks that appear on their body when they come of age. They used to be regular humans, but one mage decided to experiment on himself, using raw forms of elemental magic. Weather the experiment was a success or not had never been determined, but his descendants were forever changed by the outcome. Each Mana-Wielder gets 2 or 3 glyphs, each representing a random element. This allows them to easily use that form of magic without being taught. Vayrin was lucky enough to earn three. Fire, Lightning and Air are the three elements she was gifted. Growing up, Vayrin had no particularly special childhood. She worked hard on a Serenian farm ever since she could walk. The endless hours of tirelessly working the same field every day quickly became stale for the young girl, so in her free time she spent her days entertaining herself with swordplay. Her father was soldier once, and she was lucky enough to use one of his old steel swords to practice with. As the years went by, she quickly became adept with the blade, learning how to combine both her magic and skill.

When she turned 14 however, her life changed drastically. Her farm had been raided by a bandit clan, and her parents were dragged off and sold to slavers. Vayrin wasn't present during this event. She simply came back to find her home burning. The young Mana-Wielder now wanders without a goal, without an aim... Simply trying to find her place in the world.

Hyoite / Mavis Enevia, Arctic Sorceress
May 03, 2016, 09:33:30 PM
__________________QUICK STATS
Name Mavis Enevia
Age 13
Gender Female
Species Human
Ethnicity Hyotian
Height 4'8
Occupation Sorceress, Enevia Heir
Residence Enevia Castle

__________________IN-DEPTH STUFF

Physical Description
Mavis is a rather young girl with long white hair, and crimson colored eyes. Fan of the color purple, She wears a collared, purple long-sleeved shirt with a light purple scarf to match, a long white skirt and purple boots. She stands at only 4 feet and 8 inches. However, due to the cold conditions of her homeland, outdoors she replaces her normal garb with a purple winter coat and hat.

(Artwork from Fate/stay night)

Personality
Still young, she can be rather hot headed and short tempered, but Mavis is a kind girl for the most part. Growing up in a mansion to a couple of rich nobles who seemed to have left their southern home for a more peaceful life, Mavis has become used to many luxuries most people wouldn't have. Because of this, she feels quite privileged, and may always think she deserves more. However, despite these qualities, Mavis is usually very cheerful. Trying her best to keep the mood optimistic. She can be quite childish, (Mostly because she still IS a child) naive and somewhat sarcastic at times. She can be easily distracted by small things. However, one trait she does not possess is a strong sense of fear. For an unnatural and unknown reason, the girl is very brave. She is rarely frightened by anyone at first glance. Except for cats. She hates and fears them.

Magic/Abilities
Unknown to most, but the Enevia family is a very strong mage family. For generations each family member had spent many years of their life to the arcane arts, hoping to make the Enevia family a renowned and respected group for their strong affinity with magic. Mavis was no exception. Trained directly by her father at a very young age, she had spent many of her years practicing different types of sorcery. She can manipulate weather to some degree, summon familiars, and runes. However, she is strongest in what she calls "Celestial Magic" a form of magic that seems to manifest energy from the stars, and release them in concentrated doses to perform the caster's needs. Weather it be for combat, or for odd jobs. She has become quite powerful with it however, and makes up an extremely skilled mage because of this.

Relationships
Tavari Enevia - Father [Missing]
Venera Enevia - Mother [Deceased]
Kavori Enevia - Grandfather

History

Family History
A long time ago, the Enevia mage family was a well known and respected group of highborn magic users that hailed from the province of Darken Vei within the kingdom of Serendipity. For a long time, the Enevia family lived in unison with the other houses of its time, and was considered to be among the most influential and wealthy of the highborn mage families. Their contribution to the magical community was monumental and because of this they had gained quite the reputation. However, all of this changed when a young Enevia stepped forward and challenged the natural laws of this world. His name was Halari Enevia, 3rd son to Lord Xenari Enevia, leader of the mage family. Halari had spent much of his young life studying unorthodox forms of magic that many people of his time disapproved of. He had become somewhat of a shady figure within the family's tapestry, but he did not let the thoughts of his fellow mages sway him from his studies. As a result, he spent years conducting experiments and gathering knowledge from all across Le'ranna in hopes of finding a way to tear a hole within the very fabric of time and space itself, and step into other realities. Soon enough, he was ready to test his theories and prepared a ritual that would let him finally achieve his goal of interdimensional travel. Halari's hope was that he and his family could use this new ability to alter time and space to their own liking, but it would come at a terrible cost.

In secret he performed the ritual within the capital of Reichsgard, but it went terribly wrong. Using artifacts he had found in his travels, Halari attempted to absorb magical energy within them so they could be used to potentially open and power a portal, however once these artifacts had started the process, they were very hard to stop. Without warning, the artifacts began to absorb magic at an alarming rate, slowly but surely draining it from everything and everyone within the surrounding area. Halari could not stop them no matter how hard he tried, and the pent up magical energy was only getting stronger and stronger. Eventually the effects of the artifacts did not go unnoticed by the populace, and the city guard were dispatched to calm the panicked populace and find the source of the disturbance. Eventually they found Halari's hideout within a large clocktower, and the magical artifacts. By this point they had gone beyond any wizard's control, and it wouldn't be long until they would break under their own energy and release a deadly explosion of magic across the city, effectively killing everything and leveling the region in the process. At the last second a group of wizards were able to summon their own portals and throw the artifacts in. They reappeared far above the city within the clouds above where they exploded with a brilliant blue light. The city had been saved from certain destruction, but House Enevia would forever be scarred from this disaster.

In the weeks that followed, House Enevia was receiving heavy backlash as every mage in the country scorned and condemned them. The near death of thousands was blamed on House Enevia for the actions of Halari, who had also mysteriously vanished hours after the incident. After months of heated political debates and the anger of the other houses Enevia's position had been severely weakened. They had effectively lost the support of their allies and the citizens of the kingdom stopped regarding the house with respect. Instead their reputation began to change to a house full of madmen who couldn't control their own power. Eventually the house began to slip and its members were now left vulnerable. Rivals began to seize the trust of the people they once held, and the Enevia's soon fell into recession. As a last resort to keep his family alive and well, Xelari took the remaining members and their followers north as their family had been ostracized from Serendipity. The Enevia's finally settled within Hyoite, using the remaining resources they had to build one last home for their fallen name. Enevia castle. A massive fortress looming above the tundra. Centuries have passed since those days, and the Enevia family has lived in cold seclusion within the castle walls ever since.

Personal History
Mavis was born to the dying line of the last Enevia family members. Her mother, father, and grandfather were last known Enevia's left in the world, and because of this, they fiercely sheltered and protected Mavis from a very young age. Growing up, the girl exhibited very strong magical potential like the rest of her family, and was schooled and taught mostly by her father within the walls of Enevia Castle. Growing up in the frozen castle all her life, the girl rarely ventured out. In turn, she had no friends, and no one to talk to but her parents. The frozen wasteland that surrounded her home didn't provide much ambition to travel out either. Especially with the dangers it held. So she turned her attention to her studies instead, free of distractions. She spent many hours exploring the vast library the Enevia castle possessed, learning everything she could about the history of the world, and the modern day reality. At the age of 4 is when her father, Tavari Enevia, began to teach his daughter the art of magic. He was an excellent teacher, however strict he seemed. Mavis had memorized dozens of spells, some that could even be used for combat if her life took her down that road. At the time, however, her life had been planned for her. Mavis was the only child, and her parents could no longer produce more children. So to keep the Enevia family from dying out, Tavari planned to venture out with Mavis once she had reached a certain age. They would return back to their ancestral provinces, so she could eventually find a husband, and continue the Enevia lineage. However, fate had different plans for the girl...

At the age of 10, her mother became very ill. The sickness in her body had become very strong, and not even Tavari's healing spells could slow it down. It wasn't long until Venera passed away, leaving only Tavari, Kavori, and Mavis alone. Shortly after her death, Tavari became somewhat unstable. He had been filled with guilt, blaming his lack of skill in healing magic for his wife's death. Mavis couldn't help but feel concerned, but her grandfather Kavori tried his best to keep the girl away from him. Kavori was a kind old man, who had been with Mavis her entire life. He'd always be the one to cheer her up when his son got angry. Sometimes acting more like a father to her then Tavari. Because of this, Mavis trusted him deeply. His skill in magic had prolonged his life to some extent, although Mavis wasn't sure why. Something told her though she was the reason he was committed to staying in shape. Especially since her father had become depressed. He neglected to take care of his daughter, so Kavori stepped in...

Mavis remembers waking up one night to the sound of loud yelling. The old castle halls carried voices easily, so she could determine her father and grandfather were arguing. Mavis was curious by nature, so she went to observe the confrontation. What she saw was the two men standing in the main foyer as Tavari paced back and forth holding his head. Seeing him like this made Mavis very scared, and the worried expression on Kavori's face didn't help things either. She couldn't tell what they were arguing about, but what happened that night scarred Mavis forever. In a fit of rage, she saw her own father cast a curse on her grandfather! The old man fell into a deep sleep, unable to wake. The last time Mavis saw her father was when he stormed out of the keep into the fierce blizzard. Taking nothing with him at all.

Presently Mavis resides in Enevia castle, constantly at her grandfather's bed side. No amount of magic or medicine would wake her grandfather up, but Mavis was determined to find a way. He had to have known where Tavari went, and Mavis wanted to track him down and bring him back. All she wanted was them to be together again... Now Mavis seeks a way to break his curse and discover the secrets Kavori holds before his age eventually catches up with his body... Before it's too late and the knowledge of her father's location is lost forever.

Alright! SO I FINALLY DID IT!

I'm assuming most of those reading this are already familiar with this event, but for the new and curious, I'll explain.

The Legend...

Many, MANY years ago, a powerful dragon once terrorized the inhabitants of Adela. This dragon was known as Nevira, the Novian. She burned cities, villages, and any settlement that supported non dragon related sentient species. She did this on one basic principle: She believed any species non dragon related was INFERIOR. They did not deserve to ride, or even live with dragons. Her destruction was so great, a large alliance was formed from powerful mages across the province to put a halt to the dragon's merciless genocide. This Alliance was known as "Mithril Fire" And it consisted of dozens of powerful mages, all aimed towards the salvation of Adela.

However, Nevira was far from any ordinary dragon. Ancient legends told of 5 guardians. 5 Dragons that protected primitive Adela by guarding its natural state, and keeping the peace. These 5 were known as the Holywyrm, Hellwyrm, Depthwyrm, Groundwyrm, and Skywyrm. Each taking a specific field to protect. Nevira was one of these 5... The legends foretold of a holy dragon of angelic power which was lured by evil temptations... This dragon fell victim to the corruption of the void. Altering their mind, appearance, and abilites. And became the Void Wyrm. With a rampaging soul, and a heart full of unstable magic, she became a monster of terrifying power.

After the alliance was formed, it wasn't long until the Dragon Lord acknowledged their challenge, and took it. Mithiril Fire battled the great beast in an unknown location somewhere within the Thunderblacks. The battle was long and brutal, however, the strength of the mages managed to bind the massive dragon in place. Using an ancient, and forbidden power, a human mage stepped forward, and casted Nevira into the void... Mithril Fire had achieved their goal. Nevira was defeated, and Adela was saved. However, the exact effects of the spell used was uncertain, even to the mage who used it. So therefore, Mithril Fire vowed to safeguard Adela in case the spell ever wore off, and the Dragon Lord returned. After the great battle, the guardian chain was broken with Nevira gone. The other 4 great dragons went into a deep slumber, hiding themselves from the world. Leaving Adela to its fate, as the inhabitants were responsible for breaking the chain.

Centuries passed, but nothing happened. Over the many years, the members of the alliance started to dwindle. As time went on, more were convinced the spell was permanent. Mithril Fire slowly died out. Now only very few are still descendants of those who fought the Dragon.

In present day Adela, everything seems to be going normal. The events that took place hundreds of years ago have all but faded from memory. Becoming nothing more then a Fairy Tale. However... Unknown to the public... The ancient seal of the void is breaking... And only the few who were in the bloodline of Mithril Fire can feel it...

The Reality...
By an unknown force, the seal has been broken! The Dragon Lord has returned to the world, with seering vengeance and hatred against those who cursed her. However, she is not alone this time. Nevira will use her persuasion skills and convince many other dragons that they must liberate themselves from others. A conflict is coming... Which side are you on?
