Ladrao's pulse picked up, heart beating against his chest as imagination ran wild. He glanced up and saw Nico sitting on a branch, looking at the thing from a different angle. He looked to Isoh at his side for a moment before back to the monster-thing, deciding to go ahead and chance that it wouldn't attack just yet. The focus in his eyes faded out completely, his body still rigid in caution, as he summoned up one of his natural-born talents, the ability to 'see' through a bird's eyes.
The vision was different, it took a moment to readjust to the sudden change of view. He turned Nico's eyes to where the beast was hidden in the shadows but couldn't make out much more than he had been able to from the ground. There was too many shrubs and the like. He decided to make the bird fly to another perch for a better shot when Isoh spoke and pulled him from his spell-like stage, the boy blinking several times and looking at her. It took a moment to comprehend what she said but he agreed with her.
"Maybe we should just go." He answered in the same quiet tones, fear beginning to heighten. He could sense all three birds now, they were all there, and Dio was ruffling her feathers to make herself seem larger, spreading her wings a bit.
