Physical Description:
Iharu is only slightly more physically imposing than his younger cousin and has almost every look of a season war veteran about him.  However, he is not old and gray and still possesses the fine, taut skin of youth, interspersed here and there with the scars of battle, moreso on his body than his face.  He possess dark, mud-colored flesh and red eyes with a golden tinge to them, like flowing lava.  His face tattoos consist of a black line going across his face from one ear lobe to another, lining over his cheekbones and the bridge of his nose.  Two large black crescent moons are painted from the tops of his temples to the ends of his cheekbones, one on each side and one reflecting the other.  From the bridge of his nose to his jaw line are two more black lines, arcing along his skin and dragging down to his neck and the rest of his body toward a tattoo of a larger design.  Unlike his cousin, no earrings or jewelry decorate his ears or any part of his face.

Iharu is a lean fellow even for his height and weight, as he must be so to be as agile as he is.  His armor  consists of a ring mail like vest made from bits of steel, dragon bones, and leather to make a hardy cuirass overlapping his body.  A wolf’s skull serves as the single pauldron equipped onto his right shoulder, with a leather strap crossing his chest and wrapping around the back.  Leather greaves with dragon bone embedded into them cover his legs, down to high strapped sandal-boots, specially designed riding footwear, where a knife sheathe is sewn onto his right.

Personality
Iharu has a difficult time being even-handed.  Few things are within a gray area for him.  He’s quietly aggressive, ready to combat another, even if it is a battle of words.  He takes war and war traditions, especially those particular to the Dravikai, quite seriously and it was he that had taught his cousin Hysaeda Kel-iro, how to fight.

He is not quick to talk or interact with people of other races, even if they mean no harm and will be reserved, watchful and patient with them until he can tell otherwise.  Because he does not trust so easily, he has been prone to scorn the aid of others where he does not feel it is necessary, confident that he can accomplish whatever it is that he sets his mind to.  Though he may turn around with the right coaxing or if one has earned his respect.  He respects those strong of spirit and mind, and might give it to those that are more than capable in combat.

In the event that they do, they will scarcely find a more loyal companion.  Yet even so, his society has taught him to accomplish what he can by one’s own mettle and will only aid if he feels another truly needs it.  He is not as forgiving as Hysaeda, though the two are close enough to be brothers, and may anger quickly at the pestering of old wounds.

Magic/Abilities
A master fighter with the spear and spear variations.  Because Dravikai are born and not chosen, Iharu’s gift with the spear is innate and its almost mystical how he wields this weapon, as if its little more than an extension of himself.  He is capable of calculated deadly thrusts with it as well as honing in on a target’s weakest point when throwing a javelin.

Dravikai have a natural affinity with dragons, capable of controlling them and understanding them in a way that other Umbraeons cannot, despite Draconic being a common language most Umbraeons know.  They do not ‘bond’ with their dragon, though and do not communicate via ‘connections’ made between the two.  Dravikai command their dragon mounts based on a mutual understanding that the two come to terms with.  The natures of such understandings vary from Dravikai warrior to dragon.

Family
Ankuman Heilrak Kel-iro, uncle
Hysaeda Kel-iro, cousin

Friends
  Hysaeda Kel-iro

Foes

History
Iharu was born into the oldest tribe of the Umbraeon people, the Xelikuda clan, to an unknown pair of warrior parents.  At the time the most recent clan war had led their honorable deaths in combat and, now orphaned he was placed in the care of his uncle, Ankuman Heilrak Kel-iro.  Despite having no children of his own, Heilrak treated him like his own son.  He grew up into a formidable young Umbraeon male; it was through his teens that he learned the art of the spear, favoring the weapons over all others.

He discovered the gift of the Dravikai within him and the need to be with the dragons native to the Thunderblacks.  He left from the tribe by the time he reached his first century, embarking on his own.
