Soramai pulled the hood of her heavy black cloak over her head. Keeping her head down, she kept on through the Thunderblacks. She wasn't lost, she was only wandering, restless with out the sea all shoe could do was wander. Tightening her grip on the poisoned dagger that was thrust into her belt, the escaped slave trudged through the blackness of the night.

After a few hours, she started to feel a little lost. Pushing the thought from her head, the woman moved silently deeper into the heart of the Thunderblacks. Feeling the wind at her back, and the darkness above her didn't help her at all. Pulling her hood off, she slid down to her knees, sitting there leaning on a boulder she panted. Traveling all day had drained much from her, with a huff she layed down. Her head next to the large  cold stone, curling into a ball she wrapped the woolen cloak tight against herself. Forcing herself to sleep in the untamed land was hard, but eventually she fell into a dreamless sleep.

A snowy night was one of the nicer nights in the Thunderblacks. It was cold, and that meant a lot of dragons were in caves sleeping for the time being. How unusual it was to see snow in summer, but this was the snow capped mountains. It was a bit different up here usually. Especially toward a mountain with a crude skull carved into the side of it. The lair of a half Demon King just waiting for something to come along and pique his interest. He'd already killed one of his servants outside and saw the beautiful pattern the cold red blood made as it froze into the snow and the reflection of the moonlight upon it made...but now he was feeling...bored.

No...not bored. Just...restless. As he stood on the balcony over looking the peaks and and valleys of the mountain range, he could only sigh at the strange lovely sight. Other Demons might hate this place...but he loved it. Especially with all that pure fresh snow fallen everywhere. Just waiting to be defiled...like the land he dwelt in now.

The dark skinned man with the one broken horn upon his head only chuckled as he turned to see someone walking up to him. One of his dark red robed servants holding a tie up robe was approaching him. "My lord, please wear this, we can not risk you getting sick." The servant said as he offered the robe to the tall lithe figure before him. He wore nothing at the moment, he was training his body in the cold weather, how it tried to protect him from the cold but...he was a Demon of Hell. He should be able to master such things! His tail flicked behind him irritably as he accepted the robe however and slipped it some, barely tying it up at the front. He was feeling the chill to some degree...but he didn't want to appear weak.

"And master Zekyllot, some of the wards have gone off near the perimeter of the tunnel again, something larger than a rabbit this time. Do you want us to dispatch a couple of guards to investigate?" The servant asked the black haired master before him. Zek rubbed his chin thoughtfully as he considered this. "Yes, I think that would be wise. Send a detachment of four to retrieve whatever it is. If it's humanoid, bring it to the dungeon, if it's just another animal, take it to the cook." Zek commanded as he strode inside with the servant, heading now toward the dungeon. Either he would get some nice entertainment, or he'd get a nice meal out of it. Or possibly both depending.

And so, exiting from the tunnel were four bulky shapes, men in robes and heavy metals, each armed with wicked looking swords or large halberds. Each one had eyes like a nocturnal creature, shining even in the dim light a bright golden colour as they stalked to find their prey. Which wasn't heart, when they found something wrapped in a woollen cloak against a rock. "Master will be happy, it's entertainment." One of the hooded servants hissed quietly. Each of them surrounded the person as best they could, the two with the halberds placing the weapons close to the woman, while a third lightly slapped her side with the flat of his blade. "Wake up knave!"

Snarling, the mermaid side awoke first. Her eyes narrowed to slits, and fangs replaced her teeth. Then it all disappeared when she was fully awake, looking up with her soft blue eyes, she saw the four robed figures. If she was like her best friend Arachne, she would jump up and attack them...but first of all, a knife would not do much, second of all...she wasn't very skilled with weapons or fighting.

Soramai slowly rose up to a sitting position, hoping her natural alluring looks from her mermaid powers wouldn't cause her to much trouble, the siren like mermaid woman pulled herself up, it as sooo funny. Mermaid when she touched salt water and siren when dry, it wasn't fair both creatures had an effect on men that most often wasn't good if the siren or mermaid couldn't defend herself well. Pulling her hood over her face, she twitched a little. Biting her tongue to stop from barking something horrible out.

Slowly pulling herself to her feet, she kept her hood mostly over her face, so it was nothing but a shadow. Coughing a little from the cold, she waited to see what would become of her, why had she not listened to Arachne? Why had she not gone to wander else where? Why did she have to pick here?

Of course, these weren't the men that she was used to dealing with. The fact that none of them looked overly human and hid under hoods and robes definitely alluded to the possibility of not being fully human. Their glowing eyes stared unblinking, and they tensed as she changed at first into a more deadly looking creature...before she changed right back into the original form. How interesting indeed. They would be definitely rewarded for bringing in such a strange creature. The master always did like different things after all.

Slowly they let her sit up, but the ends of the halberds stayed near and did not let up. They couldn't afford to let this strange woman get away from them. An extreme reward would end in a severe punishment if that happened, and none of them really wanted to face the wrath of their demonic master.

It would not be ending well if they did.

At least she wasn't a chatty little thing. Well, for her sake. It had been a while since they'd seen their master pull the tongue from a living creature, and it was usually very amusing. "This way, into the tunnel. And don't try running, and don't try fighting, because we'll split your stomach open and make you watch us cut your organs up." They had to use a strong threat, and while people died quickly when they were disembowelled, they could still live long enough to see some pretty gruesome acts. With that being said, one nudged her in the back to start her off toward the darkness of the tunnel, though oddly one would be able to see a light ominously near the end of it.

Muttering curses in the mermanic language she let herself be pushed and jostled through the snow. Wrapping the cloak like a snake around her body, she held her tongue. Feeling the wetness from the melted snow make her feel a little chilled, she shivered every few minutes. Trudging into the tunnel entrance, she let out a low hissing and growling noise at the threat. Soramai wasn't going to let them threaten her, speeding up her pace. Twitching she looked around the tunnel, hardly seeing anything as she walked. Then something bright caught her sharp eyes. Seeing a golden light ahead gave her mixed thoughts. Clearing her throat softly she tried thinking up a way to escape, making sure to memorize every single detail of all she saw.

Loosening her grip on her cloak she started to breath a little heavily, her spirit was becoming restless, she needed salt water...and badly, or the restlessness would end in rampages and...other horrific things. Soramai would just have to wait till she escaped, then she would run off to the sea...where the great sea mother was calling her, and her sisters would welcome her back with open arms. Stepping through the tunnel she neared the light, wondering what it would look like once inside...

It was hard to judge the mood in that tunnel. Tense was a good word for it. Everyone was now on edge. The hooded figures had seen what she was like, they had glimpsed another side of her and of course had become cautious because of that. They knew she was important at this time, and their lives may depend on whether they bring her in or not. One of the guards with a sword fell behind the two with the halberd, just in case. He'd be the last line of defence. They were trained fighters, but there was no telling what she could become, and how strong she could become.

It was a tense night now.

As they neared the light, it became apparent what was at the end of it. A large arch with a rather impressive hand carved wooden doors to keep it shut. It had pairs of torches on either side of it to light the way for those that may have needed it. The guard in front with the other sword rushed to the right door and knocked heavily upon it four times. There was a great sound of things moving behind it before both doors gave way. What lay inside was not something most expected. It was a grand entrance way, with floors of marble and walls of rock and granite. It looked almost as if a castle were stuck inside of it.

"Keep moving. The master wants to you see." One of the halberd wielding men growled as he rudely jabbed her with the tip of the bladed weapon.

Feeling a little on edge, her eyes flashing from slitted with goldish red iris, to her normal blue. Still keeping silent, she moved gracefully and with ease, pausing as the cloaked figures knocked upon the very large door, looking around in awe underneath her hood, she thought the place was pretty to her standards. Though, the siren had never been in some place so big, it was new to her. Then quickly she looked down at her feet, letting them lead her till...she felt the jab at her pack. Hissing and making a loud unearthly shriek she swung around, her eyes flashed to a reddish gold with slitted pupils, grinning she exposed sharpened teeth. Gripping the weapon she twisted it a little, bringing the hand and arm of its holder. Then she let go, turning back around, muttering curses under her breath as she did. Letting her eyes and teeth fade back to normal.

The alarm definitely got most of the people's attention in the entrance way, and some drew small daggers from their belts, while the guards got their swords out and halberds were tat the ready. The ones escorting her menacingly aimed their weapon at her, in case they had to do a little...hard justice to her. The hooded man made no noise as she twisted the weapon, trying to break his arm but...despite the loud pop and crack, he still hung onto it as if his life depended on it. Honestly it very well did really. Despite her retaliation, people began to sheathe their weapons and return to normal as she did so. There was no threat here. As the big door closed behind them, there was no escape...not now.

The march continued, down extravagant halls decorated with fake suits of armour, with paintings both beautiful and foul, as well as statues of different races. Some were almost elegant and beautiful, while others were grotesque and decidedly evil looking. She was finally taken a metal door where guards stood , and behind the door there was the lone man, the broken horned, barely clothed noble man. He had a bored expression on his face, but as they marched the woman inside, his eyes...those cold red irises that burned with golden pupils lit up in some excitement. "Oh my...now this is a surprise and a half...you've brought me a water elf it looks like!" The room was filled with dangerous looking instruments and devices strewn about, as well as cramped looking cages and dungeon cells. For a place of dreariness, it was surprisingly clean looking, well lit, and the rest of the decor was almost pleasant in a way.

"You may go. Lock the door behind you. I will reward you for this later my thralls." Each of them bowed before the heavy metal door was swung shut, and the audible sound of a locking mechanism filled the air. "Well well, do you have a name little sea nymph?"

Eyeing those around her who drew their weapons, she heard the cracking pop, smiling with satisfaction. She continued to let them lead her on, keeping them guessing was her goal. She would go easy enough but she would not be treated like a common rat. Huffing, Soramai looked at the statues, and the paintings. Seeing open that looked like a siren but was nude...made her smile, and another which was a mermaid, but of the shark kind. Also seeing paintings of Sirens lurring men to them, and mermaids fighting each other. It was all beautiful, but when she reached the metal doors it all ended.

Letting them lead her insides she twitched her left eye when he called her a 'water elf' "Siren, I'm a damned siren as of now." sirens...those female creatures that look human but have..beautiful bodies beyond compare to humans, and beautiful faces as well. And their deathly songs...clearing her throat she answered him, keeping her eyes down she didn't look up, or even look at her surroundings "What is your name? Though, I'm pretty sure I already know."

Zek could only give a laugh and a shake of his head as he waved his hand around dismissively. "You make it sound like I care what you say." The smile on his face touched his eyes as he watched her carefully. "I'll fix you of that though. I'll make you scream so much that you'll be hoarse." Zek stood and strode over to her carefully, his hand coming up to her chin, resting under it. "But it will all decide on you, how you want to gain that hoarseness. Through pleasure, or through pain. Either one I'm fine with." He let go of her, his hands playing along the string of his robe. "Now as for my name...I am 'He Who Walks in Both Worlds.' I hope that is satisfactory. I now give you permission to speak and tell me your name."

"You should care what I say, because..." she trailed off, deciding best not to even waste her breath on him. Shifting from her left foot to her right, she looked up and kept her eyes darting around the room, never staying on place to long. When he neared her,  she wanted to strike out but she controlled her instincts. When he touched her, it drove all her instincts wild. Forcing herself to ignore the urge to attack, she kept pushed her face down after he moved his hand away, thinking over his words for a minute she said "Believe me, you can't make me scream till I'm hoarse. As for my name, I don't see why you would care. After all you don't care what a say anyways" growling it out she pulled off her hood, trying to cool herself down. The urge to attack and defend herself ebbed away a little, but was still there and ready to rise if he came to close again, or touched her. Lucky for Soramai though, she could control these instincts.

He waited for her to say something, he waited for her to have any sort of comment but she seemed to have bit her tongue. Well wasn't that nice? She was slowly learning, but it still wasn't good enough. He didn't care for the little things about her...like her opinion. That was something that didn't matter in the end, but only because she thought that it did. He didn't want to hear these...things. But he had to give her some illusion of control. Just a little though, because he was the master here wasn't he?

"Oh my dear little bitch...why would you even say something like that?" He was going to have to punish her wasn't he?  Now how exactly was he going to manage that? He headed to one of the wooden tables and looked carefully over all the instruments...grabbing a riding crop from the smooth surface.

"You and I could have had such fun...but now it's only going to be me." He was fast, very fast, he was suddenly in front of her, and  he aimed a blow with the crop to her face. She would learn her place, and this would only be the beginning.
