It was a good day, a large crowd had come out to see the sites of the circus. Liadan was feeling much better, she was even telling fortunes on her own. It had been a shaky weeks after she arrived back, but now things were looking up. It was a lovely day, clear and crisp and still held some warmth of summer. During the daylight at least.
Her tent was dark and intimate, incense burning and the mood set. Her costume was spangled with stars and occult symbols, hair loose and pooling around her while she waited for her next client.
It was times like this that she always wished she had the ability to see into the future for real. Waiting for the next person to arrive was always so dull. She stood with a smooth motion, brushing her gaudy skirts out.
Might as well try to lure some in.
Pushing into her way into the sun, she blinked, letting her eyes adjust as she scanned the crowd.
