Edit: Well, to elaborate. It sounds like the "ridiculous siege" should have an event plotting page somewhere else? Is there a link to it? Also, my two cents, is that in settings like this, the small stories of little people are more interesting than "Lex Luthor level villains" who can pull a bunch of strings. Not to sound too Gandalf-y about it.

But would love to see more of the plotting info for the siege?

its not my monster to plot. when I hear about things getting set up I'll link it here. This was just a heads up for people to start their own wheels moving so they aren't totally blindsided.

Yeah, I'm the one behind that siege thingy going on. I guess Rhi told Aeyt about it, but I'm still hashing out the details of said event. It won't be up anytime soon, most likely next month at the earliest. I'm waiting for one of my current threads to finish before this whole event thing goes up into plotting.

I'm still interested in this guys and gals. Just taking a superbly long time to get my character up and running. Or should I say disarming? Whatever. And yes, trap specialist dude has a name but it's a secret until I finish the whole profile for him and get it posted for realsies. Just letting you all know I haven't forgotten about the special thieves' guild of wolvies covered in soot.

When you mentioned the siege thing I immediately thought of the event page 'Assault on Sunspear' but then I'm like oh wait, that's going to take place in Darken Vei. Nevermindies.

So I will have a trap specialist coming your way to a thieves' guild near you...sometime in the near future I hope.

Okies. I FINALLY got not one, but TWO characters up! Woot!

I proudly present to you both Byron and Ruby, a Trap Specialist and Escape Artist, respectively. Lemme know if they are okay for the guild.

I plan on another Soot Wolf character later on, but two is good for now.

I am not positive what role/place the above would have in the guild. For Byron I was definitely thinking he would act as both a supplier for the guild to supply trap kits as well as go on missions that requires trap knowledge and expertise. He would stay in The Den mostly, in one of the supply rooms.

Ruby could have a few options here. Dun Wolf, Scavenger Wolf or heck even the position of Little Wolf could all fit her. I'll go with whatever you all decide for her what's best.

And....I have an idea for another leader position for anyone to fill. Not me though. How about a leader position called The Warg? He or she would be known for both strength and cunning and could act as a adviser/partner/associate of the Dire Wolf. He/she could also run with the Night Wolves on their various hit and run missions or even help out with the Blood Wolves on occasion. Just another idea to throw into the pot as I really think this guild needs a Warg Leader position! Again, the spot would be open for anyone of interested mind to fulfill.

The Never King- a king erased from history because of his dabblings in dark magic (among other things...) suddenly because a present day problem when an unlikely group of adventurers 'awakens' him from the grave. I added the two new Wolves to the roster, which included creating a new section labeled "Other Wolves". I put Ruby as a Scavenger for now. We can talk about changes to that at a later time. I have to be up for work at 6am, so I'mma start winding down. Catch you guys later.

I posted in an open Arca thread with my character Ruby in the thread A Fair Price so you can add that now to the timeline when you get the chance.

If there's anything at all that needs editing, let me know please. The other Soot Wolves I mentioned are just NPC's so in case you have a question or comment about that. Plus Ruby put in some goodies in the stash pile too, as part of her guild dues.

So as I have mentioned in the discord chat I am rather intrigued by this group and also think my character would fit in quite well with the wolves as well. Specifically I see Xeronna making a great shadow wolf, though Xeronna would be a new recruit and not an established guild member.
