Klezmer Gryphon

Well, here's a game I just made. Basically, the person who starts (which would be moi) writes a few stanzas, and the next poster adds on as many stanzas as they like, as does the next, and it just keeps going.

The wind was howling, the rain was pouring,
And the inn was empty and dull.
Dust and cobwebs were the only occupants
Of this dolorous, miserable hall.

The cervine inn keeper sighed, then
Started sob and cry, the
Thick dust on the table stained by
The tears streaming from her
doleful brown eyes.

For the dust covered inn,
She did not weep,
Nor for the lack of gold
Or loss of times so merry,
Rather, 'twas for her lover, now
Away o'er the sea so deep
That the cervine inn keeper
Did weep
