Astral

Astral walked along the waters edge. The sun was blazing it was another one of those rare occurrences where Astral decided to travel about during the day. She had no real reason for doing it she just liked to mix things up every now and then.

As Astral walked through the sand she spotted a rather large broken shard of a mirror. Astral picked it up and and opened her mouth. She had felt a number of her teeth were loose but she never got to check it out. She couldn't wait for her grown up teeth to come in. Astral poked around at the loose teeth in her mouth and found great amusement in watching them wiggle. Astral put down the mirror shard and continued to walk along the beach.

For some time now Astral had noticed a ship heading in her direction. It had an odd looking flag hanging off of it she didn't really know what it meant though. After continuous walking the ship began to near the shore. Astral stopped as they were obviously sailing towards her. What they wanted she couldn't possibly imagine. Perhaps they were going to offer her a ride she just didn't know.

The pirates docked their ship right on to the sandy beach and a group of them got off and started approaching Astral. They all carried a weapon on them which began to make her uncomfortable. They all surrounded her which is when she knew things were very bad. She tried to run out in between two of them but they drew their swords and pointed it at her throat. The pirates escorted her on board their ship and locked her up in a cell. Astral was really stressed now she didn't know what was going on. Also for some odd reason she could feel her teeth get looser.

After about an hour or so all her teeth had mysteriously fallen out. Astral looked at her hand which held all her teeth on wondered why they were so eager to pop out. The mysterious stuff with her teeth only made her all the more stressed. That's when she could hear some of the pirates talking.

"So what do you think. Will we get more out of her with or without those eyes?"

"With if we can find ourselves a buyer interested in unique slaves." One pirate replied.

The information that she was about to be sold as a slave only pushed her stress further. She was suppose to be making friends not becoming a slave. Suddenly Astral felt something emerging from her gums. She reached her hand into her mouth to feel her new teeth but they weren't what she expected. They were all long pointy and sharp which was nothing like human teeth it was more like dragon teeth. That's when Astral realized that her eyes were only the beginning. The fact that she turning more dragonic was too horrible for her to bear. She passed out causing a loud thunk as her body fell to the floor.

"So you're all mine now... Such a curious specimen... I will enjoy examining you..." Kirnardaz had taken on a completely human appearance. He had brown hair with blue eyes, but his face was enchanted with a special spell that meant his face made minute changes every second that meant her memory would remember him every time she looked at any other human. Any human.

"Let us start with pain tolerance... Best to take advantage of your strength while I can... Assistants!" The assistant who was stood in the back of the room, another disguised, high level demon walked forward with a club in hand. Then with a wild grin, the assistant swung the bat at Astral's ribs full force.

Her mouth was uncovered, and Kirnardaz opened up her mind slightly, allowing himself in to monitor how much pain she felt. This was his realm now, and he could keep her alive as a skeleton, make her feel infinite amounts of pain and completely destroy her mind.

Or he could do what he was doing, and make her hate the world, make her believe that humans were vile creatures. Make her suffer just enough to start hatred, and subtly alter her mind so that she saw the truth and sinful intention behind all human action. Make her learn to hate humanity.

The blow landed with a sharp crack as the demonic strength cracked her ribs.

"Oh, such a lovely sound... Try her legs next." The process of being beaten repeated, the assistant and Kirnardaz both smiling as they sat and performed abuse of varied kinds to this poor girl.

Astral

Astral woke up to a man with brown hair and blue eyes. Astral awoke to him saying "So you're all mine now... Such a curious specimen... I will enjoy examining you..." Astral didn't like the sound of that. She didn't like the sound of that at all. "Let us start with pain tolerance... Best to take advantage of your strength while I can... Assistants!" said the blue eyed man. Then someone with an obvious sinister grin on his face. He was holding a club and Astral could easily tell what ever came next she wouldn't enjoy.

The assistant slammed the club into her chest and she could both hear and feel the bones shattering. She screamed out in pain. She had never taken a blow anywhere near that hard before. Tears immediately began to swell up in her eyes and streak down her cheek. Every breath she took was just another wave of pain. Her dragon DNA began working in over time in an attempt to save the girls life. Astral cold feel two brand new limbs forming out of her back.

This was by far the worst day of her life. She couldn't help but remember the mans words when she first noticed him. Such a curious specimen... I will enjoy examining you. Why was he beating on her because her eyes were different then theirs? Why is it every turn she took there was always someone who hated dragons and would cast out their own kind simply because they had a small part of them that was dragon.

For whatever reason the assistant eventually stopped and went back to the blue eyed guy. By now her wings were fully developed. They were the only limbs untouched by the brutality that befell her. Astral was lying on her side. She dared to move her head and see what her wings looked like. They were black and very large. even all folded up. There were even black scales over the bony parts. Astral's mother's scales were black as well but it still came as a surprise to her. Never would she have imagined having wings. There was no way she could pass as human now. Not with the wings teeth and eyes there was just no way.

Astral looked back at the two men with eyes pleading them to stop.

Brisinger987

"Oh, such a marvellous spectacle... Wings! Next, we test your desire to survive. Take her to the chamber." The assistant called two masked men over, who picked Astral up by the wrists and dragged her into a dark chamber, where the only thing visible was a singular torch in the centre.

"In but a few moments, you will enter that chamber. Three gargoyles live in there. If you wish to survive, the gargoyles must die. Simple. Allow me to heal your wounds, at least. You will not survive with this level of weakness..." Kirnardaz projected a beam of green light that seemed to heal her. It was in fact just an illusion to make it seem like magic was being used, when in fact he was merely bending the rules of the realm he controlled, where she now resided until he decided otherwise.

He had the assistants throw her into the chamber, where the loud shriek of an aggravated gargoyle resounded.

"Oh Astral... Where's mommy when you need here? She abandoned you... She abandoned you after those nasty humans killed daddy, hehehehehe! AHAHAHAHAHA! You're ALONE!" Kirnardaz added several filters to the psychic voice to make it seem like she was drugged by something.

"All alone in a world where everything hates you... So alone... You don't have to make friends... Enemies are just as good..."

Astral

"Oh, such a marvellous spectacle... Wings! Next, we test your desire to survive. Take her to the chamber." The man said as his assistance took her to a dark room. Her wounds were healed at least. Astral finally figured out why it was this was being done to her. They found amusement in doing this to freaks and that's what they viewed her as a freak.

Astral heard a shriek from in the room and then began to hear a strange voice. "Oh Astral... Where's mommy when you need here? She abandoned you... She abandoned you after those nasty humans killed daddy, hehehehehe! AHAHAHAHAHA! You're ALONE!" "All alone in a world where everything hates you... So alone... You don't have to make friends... Enemies are just as good..." Astral couldn't tell where the voice was coming from it almost sounded as if it was coming from her own head. How did these voices know all this. Surly it was truly coming from herself and it was all true. Why did her mom leave and why the hell did those cursed humans kill her father. Since when did humans get to chose who loved who. Astral had to agree with herself she did hate them. She hated everything about them. All they had ever done for her was kill her father, drive her mother away, and torture her just like now. Why did she want to be human in the first place? Did she really want to be just like them just like family destroying tortures? No no she didn't. She was glad these changes were happening she didn't want to be human.

Just as soon as she thought it she began growing a tail and some ears that were specific to her sub species began growing out of her head and peaking through her hair. All of a sudden she could hear far better. Her tail also was sprouting fins. Astral knew they were advance flying fins for air superiority. It was one of the things that made her species unique they were the fastest and most agile flying creatures in the world.

Now Astral had to make a critical decision. Did she want to live or did she want to die. She was leaning towards the dying part. Her life had sucked so bad it would be so much easier just to end it all for good. She was about to just sit on the ground and let herself die when she decided she needed to avenge her father. She needed to make all the humans pay for what they did and make sure they never do it to dragon kind again. To do that though she needed to live. Almost at that exact moment one of the gargoyles attacked her. She easily over powered it though. She didn't know that this whole time her strength and weight were also increasing. She just didn't notice because her muscles were so dense they showed no sign of it.

Astral dispatched the gargoyles and as soon as she finished she broke through the dark room and went after the humans that put her in there. As she walked out scales began to grow all over her body and claws started to emerge. She was going to try and kill every last one of them until the ship was devoid of all life but her own.

Brisinger987

"Fight it, child. Fight the voice..." The new voice was angelic, and if Astral took a minute to stop, she would feel the fighting in her mind as Kirnardaz and Guinevere clashed mentally for control over Astral, trying to keep the other out.

"Kill them all!" Kirnardaz's voice boomed through her head, and he made the world around her warp slightly to make it seem yet again as if she had been drugged, and eventually Kirnardaz pushed Guinevere out of Astral's mind again.

"Take your revenge on the filthy human scum... They hurt us... Now we will hurt them..." Kirnardaz made the world around her flicker, and in front of her stood two smiling demons, who looked as if they were hallucinations. Then a human rounded the corner, and a shadow shaped like her stepped out in front of her, lunging at the human, bringing the black silhouette of a human to the floor tearing it to shreds. Then the apparent illusion faded, but the two demons remained.

They turned as the human realized Astral was free (Or rather, the demon meant to look like a human, with the same enchanted face, designed to make the image akin to every other human).

Astral

Astral's rage was so great she just ignored the hallucinations. Her only thought and purpose was to kill the humans before her. To make them pay for all that they had done. The two demons that looked like humans looked surprise to see her free. It seemed as if they hadn't expected her to have the will power. Astral tore her claws into their necks. Astral lifted them up holding them into the air with such rage in her eyes. The likes of which no human could express with their eyes alone. Astral kept them there until she was sure they were dead. Astral flung their limp bodies to the side and went after the head human the man who was directing it all. She was going to tear him up limb for limb.

Brisinger987

Kirnardaz plucked up an image of a human, a young woman, dressed in the attire of the dungeon he had constructed for Astral in Vorax, and placed her round the corner, letting her see the death that had occurred. Then he added demons to the mix. Two demons chased the woman down beating her and killing her violently.

"You are not alone in your hatred. Allow me to help..." The demon creatures seemed to take on frightening forms that were clearly bent on killing humans.

"Go, fight..."

Astral

Astral couldn't understand why this human didn't like his own kind. She also didn't understand why he had beaten her. Perhaps he was a dragon and human hater. That kind of made her the ultimate thing for him to hate, so why was he wanting to help her.

She didn't know he was really a demon manipulating her for later use. He didn't know though that he had driven her hatred to far. She wasn't going to accept any humans help. Astral continued walking towards the human who had done this all to her. She made sure to make it slow. She wanted to put this guy through more pain than she had been in and she was going to try to keep him alive for as long as possible.

Brisinger987

A flash of light surrounded Astral just as she was about to kill the illusion Kirnardaz had provided, and suddenly she was back on the beach.

"You're safe from him now." Guinevere spoke calmly, her wings shining pure white in the sunset. She looked like she was from the middle of the day, but the sunset cast clear orange light over everything.

"He only has power over you in his realm. You are here now. He can't hurt you anymore."

Astral

Astral gasped as the scenery changed before her and suddenly she was on the beach again. She began to hyperventilate. Was this just another illusion to toy with her mind. Astral looked at her scaly black hands with short claws at the end of the fingers. She hadn't felt anymore changes since her scales and claws came in. Little did she know her dragon DNA was taking a long vacation. It had worked in over time and now it needed to recover. The changes were never meant to happen so fast.

Astral looked at the angelic creature before her. Their colors where total opposites. At the realization that her changes stopped she began freaking out. "No I don't want to be a freak. I don't want to be human!" Astral yelled out as she collapsed on her knees. She was feeling a mixture of anger and sadness.

Astral looked up at her savior and asked "What am I suppose to do now?"

Brisinger987

"Why don't you want to be human? Human's are just as good as every other species..." Guinevere genuinely hadn't understood what had happened in Kirnardaz's realm, and she wasn't privy to those memories or events. She wouldn't ever be able to access them. She had to rely on Astral to tell her.

"It's ok. He's not here anymore, don't worry..." Guinevere added that final bit of comfort before Kirnardaz's voice would resound further into her head.

Astral. That's your name, isn't it? Don't listen to her. She is a human sympathiser... She pities the wretched life forms known as humans. She doesn't believe they need eradicating... Leave her... She is much too strong for you to fight... Angel scum... Kirnardaz's voice wasn't shifted, and was in it's purest form. The imperial, demanding, evil voice that it was. It sounded nothing like he had sounded like as the human.

Astral

"Why don't you want to be human? Human's are just as good as every other species..."

Astral couldn't believe what she was hearing. How could anyone sympathize with the humans. Suddenly a brand new voice entered her head. Astral. That's your name, isn't it? Don't listen to her. She is a human sympathiser... She pities the wretched life forms known as humans. She doesn't believe they need eradicating... Leave her... She is much too strong for you to fight... Angel scum... Astral agreed with what the voice said, but the voice in her head was driver her nuts. "Get out of my head!" Astral screamed. She began running from the angel. Astral flapped her wings a couple times to try to fly but she only went 1 foot of the ground before she lost control. Apparently it wasn't something she knew how to do instinctively. She continued to run with no real destination. Experimenting with her wings and tail fins all the while.

Brisinger987

Kirnardaz decided to sate his desire for fun as he unleashed the full torrent of every voice in his realm. Hundreds of screaming, tortured souls, condemned to death, drowning out all other noise.

Make it reality for us Astral... KILL. THEM. ALL... Kirnardaz left her mind but kept watchful eye on her as Guinevere chased the girl down by flight.

"Don't run, it's not safe to be alone without human or angel protection right now...." Guinevere landed in front of Astral, grabbing the girl by the shoulders to try and get her focus.

Astral

Suddenly and explosion of voices and screams entered her head. She halted and held her hand against her ears in a futile attempt to block it out. She heared Make it reality for us Astral... KILL. THEM. ALL... and suddenly the voices stopped. She continued to run away but was stooped by the angel. She grabbed her shoulders and Astral cast a cold glare at the angel. "Don't touch me." She said loud and sternly. Astral then ducked under the angel and attempted to fly again but with no success. If the angel tried to stop her one more time she was going to hurt the thing. Human or angel protection HA the angel really was sided with the humans.

Brisinger987

Guinevere sighed as she forced herself to continue to follow Astral, and again she tried to stop the girl from running.

"It's not safe, don't run off like this, it'll just happen again!" Guinevere tried again the same technique, trying to avoid any conflict if possible. She wouldn't try again after this. If the girl wanted to put herself in danger, Guinevere didn't have time to stop her again. She had to undo everything Kirnardaz had done.

"Please, let me help and protect you!"

Astral

"Please, let me help and protect you!"

"Protect me you just want to bring me back. You didn't save me you're coming to get me again, so you can let the humans torture me further." Astral began to growl something she didn't know she was capable of, but it wasn't quite a full dragon growl there was some humanness mixed in. Astral clawed at the angel's arms and continued to run. She had to get away.

Brisinger987

Guinevere sighed as she let the girl run off.

"Fancy meeting you here Guinevere..." Kirnardaz smiled as he walked up behind her, the evil in his eyes plain as day. "Loving day today, don't you think? Gorgeous sunset... And she was a lovely girl too..." Kirnardaz stood next to her, feeling a tugging at his soul, something he had never felt before.

"Was... Until you changed her..." Guinevere snarled at Kirnardaz, who simply smiled back.

"I changed her for better Guinevere, you know that really... Humans are a scourge, we both know they need to be eradicated at some point. Why not start now?" Kirnardaz seemed to think she would agree.

"I know that they are corrupt, but you know the laws, we must give them the full ten thousand years. They've not done 10,000 years yet. Their time will come." Guinevere said in a warning tone.

"When have I ever followed the rules? Good day, Guinevere..." Kirnardaz walked through a portal, smiling with intent, before disappearing into the hell he called his kingdom.
