Thunderous footsteps knocked Felodas off his feet.
"What in all elven name is that?" Shouted Felodas, as the last of the foes collapsed under the strength of the elven party. A huge amount of force shook the trees, and loud snapping sounded through the Thunderblacks.

In Ketra, the residents and even the King believed there to be an earthquake. Pitchers fell of shelves in the Randy Peach, Mephista called for everyone to get under tables. Hunter's game ran in the Draconi Forest bolted just as their killers fired their guns. People in Santuary got angry, and started demanding to know who interrupted the peace.

Whatever it was, it was getting louder, and, to much worry, closer. A sound was heard by Felodas, one like he had not heard in over a century. He had heard it before, in Essryn. He was scouting in a Forest for his friends, and he heard that sound. Had he known the source was this large and destructive, the elf would have stayed well away.

The thing approached closer with every passing second. All of a sudden, it came into view...
It was a ginormous elephant, one like Felodas had never seen nor heard about in his entire life. It had left a wake of destruction, broken trees and trampled bushes.
Felodas called "let's do this, Athran. Together.

Athran climbed back into the saddle on Maigrod's back, letting the dragon charge forth in a whirlwind of blinding, searing fire, reaching forth with his sharp claws and fangs. He has met with this kind of creatures before - their hide was thick and their bodies strong. The couple of long, curved tusks was bashing everything in their way.

A sword couldn't pierce the hide, and the only weak spot of this creature was its mouth and eyes. That was where Maigrod was aiming... To sing its skin and gauge the eyes of the beast out.

Felodas too mounted his dragon, and began to attack the beast. He started by shooting an arrow in one of it's eyes, blinding it.
The next move was destroying the occupants, while Athran felled the beast. Of course, Ralenth completed this task in one swoop, one load of dragon fire. The riders screamed, on fire.

Maigrod's claws broke even the thick hide of the beast, ripping its side as he passed around, and it collapsed with a terrible loud roar. The dragon made a large turn in the air and covered it in fire, and it burned until there was naught but ash on its place.

The fall broke the tower on its back, smashing it into the ground, and with it fell its riders.

Felodas was exhausted. This had been a long day. And it was only 12:30.
"That was their leader, there, on the back of that thing. The one with the black patch over his eye. The orcs won't think of coming back here again."

The pair returned to Ketra. They said their goodbyes, and went to rest.
Felodas hoped to meet the elf again soon. But not in such a fierce battle as that.
