It was a beautiful day. Things were going well enough, and it wasn't raining that was always a plus. Alerri couldn't understand why humans travelled through the rain. It just didn't make any sense to her. She was pondering this when she came across an animal. It looked like it was stuck in the mud. She knew her clothing would get dirty if she wasn't careful. She almost left it there for someone else to help, but knew that wouldn't be the right thing to do. Humans helped each other and animals in times of need. She knew she should strive to do the same.
Ambling up to the donkey she looked over the situation. She was trying to figure out how to get it out without getting completely muddy and stuck herself. She wondered if a vine would work. There were plenty and she went for some without a word. She was back fast and tied one end into a large noose like opening. She wasn't sure she could lasso the donkey.
"Hold on there, I'll get you out," she said and tossed the lasso missing. She wasn't sure if she would get it around the animal this way. Magic seemed an easy idea, but it wouldn't look good if she had magic. That would lead to questions, and she wasn't good at lying.
