The Never King- a king erased from history because of his dabblings in dark magic (among other things...) suddenly because a present day problem when an unlikely group of adventurers 'awakens' him from the grave. I ran the Connlaothian civil war. For more info, check out it's page here. The war has now turned into a 'Cold War' with it's plotting page found here. It's no longer a huge site wide event but the scars are there.

"I am. Reese's brother, Grattis," who's name made her cringe to speak it openly as the guilt chilled her stomach. "Offered to come many times. I'd rather travel there alone." The less time she was alone with Grattis, the less he could harass her over her... mistake.

Though since the war..
she had to cute back significantly. Even she wasn't stupid enough to wander off on her own for too long and in too isolated of a place in the wilderness.

And now with Reese off to war...
the Civil war was just coming too close to home. And she hated it. She hated all of it.

Tenran put his hands on his hips and gave a soft breath.  He unbuttoned his jacket and hung it over the chair.  "Allow me," he murmured and coaxed her to take a seat before fixing her tea, remembering how she liked it.  "There you go," he said, setting her cup in front of her.

Liana dropped into a seat and stared at the cup before her. Her silver eyes seemed to stare through it as she remained silent. She wasn't sure what to say to Tenran, and her mind was full of too many thoughts for her to even begin to want to organize them- or deal with them. She felt a mess, and was a mess a she sighed and brushed her blonde hair from her face before lifting the tea to her lips while muttering, "Thank you."

As much as she wanted to remain pissy at him, it never seemed she could be angry forever.

A small smile touched his lips. He couldn't help it when it came to Liana, despite her stubborn mood swings.  He sat down in the chair beside her and put a dash of sugar in his own tea and a droplet of creme.  "You're right Liana.  It's quite presumptuous of me to come up here after so long of not sending word or writing.  I wanted to.  Really I did.  I can't just expect you to be warm and hospitable in your own house.  But I mean it.  Let me come with you.  I know you can do well on your own.  But it'd make me feel better at least to know that you got there safely."
