"I've had my fair share of adventures, but that one takes the cake. Though I must admit I'm rather glad I've never personally experienced a ghost ship adventure.. though I'm sure it was grand!"

He lifted his mug again and moved closer to pay the barkeep for their round of drinks.

The Never King- a king erased from history because of his dabblings in dark magic (among other things...) suddenly because a present day problem when an unlikely group of adventurers 'awakens' him from the grave. I ran the Connlaothian civil war. For more info, check out it's page here. The war has now turned into a 'Cold War' with it's plotting page found here. It's no longer a huge site wide event but the scars are there.

Thrax shrugged his sizeable shoulders. "We never set foot on the ghost ship, so there's nothing to show for it," he said, still sore about merely surviving, even though at the time he was just happy to come out alive.

There was always what happened during their crossing of the desert, but then it didn't seem like the right time to get into that.

"And any coin from our previous adventures has already been spent. So if anyone's hiring, we'd appreciate it." He chuckled.

Hana shot her partner a dry look and mouthed, Subtle.

Still, Thrax's way of doing things often got results, she couldn't deny that.

"We can do more than frighten off ghost ships," she added with a small, crooked smirk. "Heard from a university back in Arca that there might be an archeological expedition around these parts--don't suppose any of you know anything about that?"
