when she caught sight of Anran and he waved, she tensed a moment, feeling awkward and out of place after her conversation with Raj. She supposed it was silly to feel so self conscious, considering all that was taking place and at stake, but it wasn't so easy for her to cast away her own fears. Even still, she wasn't one to be rude as she gave a small smile his way and casually moved near him.

"You look busy," she commented, glancing around.

The Never King- a king erased from history because of his dabblings in dark magic (among other things...) suddenly because a present day problem when an unlikely group of adventurers 'awakens' him from the grave. I ran the Connlaothian civil war. For more info, check out it's page here. The war has now turned into a 'Cold War' with it's plotting page found here. It's no longer a huge site wide event but the scars are there.

Anran strode across the camp until he was beside her. She seemed beside herself, and although she seemed as if she wanted some space, he had no intention of wanting to make her feel uncomfortable. "I'm never too busy for you," he said, dusting his hands off his pants. "You spent some time with Raj? I hope he didn't bore you too much."

She wasn't going to beat around the bush at her displeasure, but she also wasn't ignorant to how foolish it would have been to remain alone for too long. Her ex-husband, after all, apparently had men infesting just about every place he could. And at what cost? It seemed scarring her and publicly shaming her wasn't enough. Now he sought to continue to destroy her life- or that's how it seemed. And unfortunately for Anran she wasn't happy about the consequences of it, either.
