Forgive me if I'm being impatient, but a week is rather a long time for no one to post to a thread.
Almost, if not all, of the characters are magic-users, which means if they're not involved directly in the virus plot, they could be taking extreme precautions, which would mean going somewhere out of the way. That would probably be from just whispers and gossip, though, so it may not work.
