"Have enough boy?" A thirty something year old woman with shorten blond hair in an crimison armor said in an mocking tone within a dark cell. The one who she was asked, was a young dark man bruised, bleeding, and sizzling with smoke over his body, while being chained to wall by the wrists. He wore ragged and torn clothes that were once fancy looking were no more. These effects were the result from a few days of torture by the noblewoman and her henchmen that hung back behind in the cell bars.
"Once...again...I...must...respectfully refuse, your ladyship."
Rubin, answered through gritted teeth because of the agony that assaulted in his skin. The so-called hostess in question was Lady Erica Sandel, an Adelan noble with a infamous reputation. She had been exiled from the royal court for years due to her cruelty to others, peasant and noble. So Lady Sandel had remain in her former husband since that time in relative silence until reports were going in that she could be commiting treason. So Rubin had been assigned in an uncover job to discover if there were truth to those rumors.
Well it sure didn't work out. Rubin thought with frustration at himself. Suddenly he grunted in great pain when Lady Sandal shocked him with lighting once more. It wasn't enough to kill him...yet but sure hurt like hell. Erica smirk with amusement and commented.
"Keep refusing me and I'll just keep having fun with you."
Before she can continue further however, a frantic servant came rushing down to the cell. Everyone looked in his direction, as he caught up his while sweating in sheer fear. "What is it?!" Erica barked with annoyance in her tone. The messenger gulped down in his horro a and answered.
"We have an intruder storming through castle milady. It's a magic user!"
With widen eyes upon reaction, Erica got out of cell told two of her goons, to finish off the prisoner, leaving her to take care of the intruder problem. Rubin spilled out his blood, wondering who it is that caught the traitor's attention.
