It was a rainy day, it happened often in Connlaoth, even more in these days. The raining season was close by. Well, it wasn't all that bad, more customers came every often in her library when it rained. More business never hurt. While she was pushing her small chariot with her front paws to put some books back on the shelves, she was making sure nobody was making any mischief. Her long and white feathers brush softly against the ground.

The white griffon stopped in one of the alley and started placing the books. Her two children were playing together, without making too much noise since this was a library after all. People were reading books at the different tables set trough the place. It was far from being a national library, but it was still large enough to accomodate a good deal of people. She had books from all over the place and on many different subjects. Be it History, Herboristery, Arts, Combat, Romance, Adventure, Suspense or even horror and many many more.

This place was her home, and it litterally was as she was living on the second floor with her two childrens. She sighed softly, looking in their direction with a soft gaze in her golden eyes.

Rain was nothing new to Shamgar. It was just another part of nature, another thing that came and went whenever Fate decided. That didn't make it any less tolerable for the griffon as his paws and talons plopped against the cobblestone streets of Reajh. Sheets of water pouring down kept him confined to the ground, each drop that hit his wings adding just that much more time he'd have to spend  preening and drying his plumage before he'd be airworthy again.

Even with all the rain, the griffon wasn't in a bad mood... Well, not at present, to say the least. Through talking with an innkeeper, he had heard that there was a decent library just a few blocks from where he was staying, and where there was a library, there was bound to be something that interested him. So, through the rain Shamgar was trudging, all for something to read for an afternoon. Soon enough, he found what he was looking for.

Stepping in the door of the building sopping wet wasn't ideal, especially for handling books, but he'd have to make do.  From the looks of the other patrons of the library, he wasn't alone in the "ill-prepared for the weather" category. As he started down the various aisles of bookshelves, something caught his attention from the corner of his eye. Looking down one of the rows in the history section, Shamgar couldn't help but stare; the librarian was a fellow griffon!

Jeska pushed the small chariot along one of the corridors and left it there for later, as she heard the doorbell rang behind her. She turned her head to see who was the newcomer and stopped breathing for a moment there when she saw the young griffon, for a moment there, she thought she had seen a ghost, but she quickly returned to her wits and gave a welcoming nod to him.

-Welcome to my library young one, I'm Jeska, the owner, can I help you with something?-

She asked kindly, her golden eyes locked on the young griffon in front of her. He really looked like her eldest son, but within the light, his feathers looked a bit light colored.
