If Steel is still open, I have my lady Wellesandra who is a Valkyrie born of the goddess Freya and a dragoness; she is adept in the use of primal and elemental magics, and is also able to shapeshift into the form of a dragon. There's a few other tidbits in her bio about her (her personality is kind of awkwardly fleshed out; I apologize for that) but she would likely set him free/try to develop some sort of friendship with him. There'd be a chance for romance, too, considering the fact that she's a very passionate creature who's quite willing to fall into bed with whoever strikes her fancy, whenever and wherever they happen to do so.
