Malki walked sightly annoyed through the beautiful gate that surrounded such an awing city. He knew of this place and always avoided its towering and sunning walls. But, the need of supplies forced him to make a quick stop for the day and hopefully not the night. He hated cites in general, but this imposing great city left him cold inside. He had heard tales of the people here hating magic. Thankfully he hated his too, but that was besides the point. Large crowds made lots of noise, which gave him a headache.

With a long drown out breath he pushed his way forward to start buying his supplies. Grumbling at the high prices in the square he moved on looking for the best quality for the smallest price. Picking out an array of salts, and meets along with strips of leather he moved on. He would need some new cloth to repair his winter cloths. A warm bath would be nice, but that would be for later on.

He gathered the necessary supplies before making his way to the nearest pub and sitting down at a table in the corner, glad to be out of the elements and all of the annoyances. Ordering a strong hot coffee, he closed his eyes and leaned back in the wooden chair at his table. A nice meal and a hot drink would be enough for the day. he would have to leave the city before dusk if he wanted to get out of the imposing walls.

It was nice for one tracker to not be stuck talking to the dead all day. Not that she really minded it was just that she liked talking to humans sometimes too. The life of an insane necromancer was never and easy one. As she moved ever so carefully through the streets of the city she tried not to do too much cackling or giggling. It was hard considering that she was nutty and all.

She smiled when she came to the doors of a local pub. Well that might be a good place to find a drink. She could use one she supposed. So she entered stopping to look around a little. The place did not seem to badly crowded. She smiled and pulled her coat on to her shoulders.

She took a seat across from where a man was sitting. He did not seem very happy. Though she knew a lot of people were that way. So for the moment she just watched him as she waited for the service to com around to where she was.

Storm

Malki huffed. he could feel prying eyes on him so he opened his own. Scanning the light crowd he spotted a brightly colored person. Shivering at such brightness he finished his coffee waiting for the kind waitress to come back. Over the years he had learned to scan crowds for anything wrong but today seamed quiet thankfully.

He winced a bit as he continued to feel eyes on him. Turning back to his senses he moved his head a bit to make eye contact. He frowned when he saw it was the brightly colored girl that had decided to sit across from him. It was not in his nature to speak much but he decided to humor the air of peace and be polite.

"Good day, madam." he spoke softly to the woman across from him.

Cinda herself was always a sight to see when she wondered through a place . She was not ever bothered by stares of gasps when others looked at her. In fact she never was bothered by much of anything. She got the feeling that perhaps she should not stare at others. Well she was never socially correct anyway.

The waitress came to her then. She then told her in a soft voice that she just wanted some hot to drink. She was not picky on what it was. Cinda could eat or drink anything. She then left off to go take care of that.

She looked back to the man as he looked at her. Oops looked like she had gotten his attention. " I'm sorry I didn't mean to stare..." she said voice trailing off as she looked down at her feet. The last thing she wanted to do was bother someone.

Storm

He sighed "no bother. I am used to the looks. May I inquire your name madam?" Malki asked the bright woman.

Yes he had the looks. Whoes eyes would not find the stranger with torn cloths that resonates something was off. Even he knew he was strange. There were not many people like him, a ture nomad who did not even remember his own home. A man who lived by his own code and walked at his own pace.

Winter

Winter was doing her rounds. Well, it wasn't like she had a profession that actually required rounds, but that was her excuse for being here. The truth was closer to not having anything pressing to do at that time. She had gone for a wondering walk that ended up with her ending up inside. She took a look around the room before she moved forward, an old habit.

For the most part it was a stereotypical picture of a local watering hole and Winter would seat herself at a table and place her order with one of the staff. As it happened it placed her across from what she assumed was a couple, who were clearly tourists. A little interested she would keep an eye on them and make a note if they seemed to be doing anything that was worth her while.

Ice

Find a smiled slightly when she heard what the man said. With her bright clothing she too got some looks. However no one ever thought that was one who bring the dead to life either. She knew she had to do he best to keep that a secret here. The north did not care for magic users and cinda very well knew that.

" Heh I bet . I'm cinda. Can I ask your name?" Cinda said in that same soft voice. She saw a woman enter now. Well that just meant that this place was getting more crowded . Her eyes glowed very slightly as she felt nervous. Though the glow when away in couple of blinks. She kept that slightly off smile on her face as well.

Storm

Malki nodded " A fitting name Madam Cinda. I am Malki Blackblade. " He said again softly. Watching Cinda's eyes he followed her gaze and landed on another woman.

"I do no like it here. It makes me nervous" He said mostly to himself watching the new entry.

He frowned and surveyed the seance around him, counting the number of mercenaries and the amount of weapons the had. He counted the number of people and where the exits were. Experience has led him to find the best path out.

Winter

Winter for her part was casually watching the table, while she wasn't what she or any one else would call magically talented in the slightest, she was good at reading body language and the two seemed tense. Not that it was any of her business really. But, when people where that way they tended to be so for a reason and it might behoove her to keep an eye on them.

This left her with a choice. She could watch them or she could approach them. Both had pros and cons. The fact she might be able to have fun with them won out in the end and she stood up and made her way towards the table. She sat herself down in an extra chair. Why? Because she could, if they decided they should try and make her leave well, that was when life tended to get interesting.

"Ladies, gentlemen. Are we have a good time this pleasant day?" She had to ask as she sat herself down and gave them an overly cheerful look, almost daring them to ask to her to leave.

Ice

Find smiled at the man's comment about her name. She then heard what he said to himself. She kind of blinked at that. It was almost like he was thinking the same thing she was. That in its self was an odd thing if you asked finds. However she chose not to comment at the moment.

" Well it very nice to meet you. " She said to him softly. That's when she noted the female was making her way towards them. Oh that meant she noticed them. He eyes glowed again slightly as she felt nevouse even more now. She then heard what the other woman was saying to them now. She acted as if she wanted a fight or something.

" I am Madame." She said softly to her. Her eyes didn't really stop glowing this time. It was something that always happened when she was scared or nervous about others.

Storm

Malki smiled a bit, something he rarely did now a days. Watching the new woman come towards them out of his preferential vision he sighed softly.

"Indeed. I am glad to make your acquaintance." He said in a polite response to her.

Nodding silently he listened to the newcomer. Narrowing his eyes at Cinda he spoke to the newcomer.

"Madam, I would suggest watching your tone of voice around here. This seams like a tense city, I do not think it would be wise to start anything right now." He said his gaze flipping between the two taking note of Cinda's eyes but not commenting. It would bring more notice to them, and he doubted that that would be a good idea.

Winter

Winter at this point would look fairly amused. She wasn't out to start fights, although she wouldn't turn one down either if it were to happen. As a general rule she found them to be a waste of time unless she couldn't get something out of it, and at least for now she was seeing nothing worth her time, so to speak. Keeping that in mind she would ignore the tone and lean back in the chair she had found.

"Tense? No one has shot any one else in the eye with a cross bow bolt, so I wouldn't call it tense just yet." Rather or not she had actually seen such a thing was any ones guess. Being as a general rule more over baring than needlessly aggressive, she just gave them a look wondering briefly if there was a reason why they were tense or these two were simply over cautious as a general rule.

Ice

Cinda looked at the man when narrowed his eyes at her. Well it was not like she was ever any good with social ques anyhow. So she decided that she should probably just keep quiet. She she listened in silence to the conversation. It wasn't really a good one though. She looked between the two with a slight frown . If they did get in to a fight she wasn't going to interfere. She was not a fighter herself.

As she looked her eyes stopped glowing again. She knew in city like this one she was really going to have to be careful about that. She did not wish to get into trouble at the moment. Or ever for that matter.

Storm

He shrugged a bit, not pushing it any further. He was wasting his breath on politeness. If he did not leave soon he would be trapped here making it more likely to be recognized. His reputaion was an interesting one, both helpful and hurtful. Not like he cared what others thought, well at least normally.  Taking one last look around he pulled out enough money to cover the cost of the three of them and made to stand.

"Ladies, it was fun. But. Cities do not agree with me. " He started to say before he sat back down when he saw some shady people walk in "Or not" He grumbled and turned just enough to hide his face.

Winter

She gave something of a mental shrug when he started for the door, rather or not he liked the city really wasn't any of her concern. However, as he stood up and started for the door something changed. While she was over bearing and tended to ignore body language when she was conversing with some one she knew when the situation shifted, and he was nervous for sure.

Looking past him as best she could while still sitting down, she noticed some people walking in the door, clearly looking for trouble. The fact they weren't looking for her, so far as she knew was fairly unimportant. If they were looking for him and she was at his table the fact they did not know her wouldn't matter. On the other hand he could just be paranoid and nothing was going on.

"Oh, it's the weather it doesn't agree with a lot of people." She replied casually as she kept an eye on the door with out looking at it directly.

Ice

Cinda noticed that the man's had started to leave but decided not to do so. She also noted the shady people who came in about that time. Well this was starting to get interesting that was for sure. She had decided though to remain silent. Cinda knew that she need to have time to consider the situation she might be in. She definitely did not want any trouble. However she also knew that she could be in trouble though association. Dang this wasn't good at all.

Storm

Malki sighed and closed his eyes admitting defeat. Its mot like he was wanted, its just that people usually did not like to see his face twice. He did not recognize these strangers, but then again many people would love to harm him. If there was a wanted poster for the opposing side of anything he would be the top of his list. Generally he did not care who who he helped or fought against and he usually did not remember faces.

He frowned at the woman's comment bout the weather. He did not mind it but he did agree with her that it made most disliked it. Sighing again he rested his hand on his sword. Thankfully he re wraped his sheath before coming into the city. If his face wasn't a dead giveaway, then his sword would be. Rubbing his temples he contemplated casually walking out or any other option that would cause the least amount of disturbance that would land him in a prison overnight.

Winter

Winter sighed at their reactions, clearly both of them were fairly amateurs when it came to not appearing to be on the run from the law. Not that she knew they were for a fact, but the shift in the room lead her to believe was not in the presence of the most up standing of people. Law bidding people didn't nearly leap from their seats when people walked in, no matter how they may look.

The problem with this fact was not so much that Winter cared what happened to them, she had no emotional ties to either of them and truthfully wouldn't loose sleep if any one ended up in a cell or worse. Her problem was she was with them, and would likely get tagged as being with them by who ever wanted them.

"Sit down." She hissed in a rather forceful whisper. "We're discussing the weather." She fought the urge to roll her eyes as she tried to get the situation under control. "And for the love of everything holy, put your hands on the table. Both of them." She mentally kicked both of them for their reactions.

Ice

Cinda frowned a little more. She was very uncomfortable right now to say the least. She wanted to leave but was sure that she would just attract more attention doing that. She would probably try to just stay out of the two others conversation if she could. She didn't really want to cause more trouble. It was never a smart idea to stir the pot when it was already being stirred. Though she did try not to look too supious. She did not want to get killed.

Storm

Malki asked and closed his eyes leaning back giving the impression of relaxation he knew how to act but still it's not like they could hold him for very long even if they came after him. Hell just wait and see. As for the weather, small talk he did not do. It's not like he stated talking but he just had nothing to say that would benefit others.
