Phears frowned as he heard the sound coming ever closer. He had to wonder who was here. And who would be stupid enough to follow him. Most knew to avoid him.  Then voices near by made him suddenly stop. Someone must have found his camp. " Someone one is up there." He stated to the woman in a quiet voice. He hoped that she could fight. Because he was sure that there would be one.

Umbra only nodded, taking a slow step back and ducking behind a rock, aiming to stay out of sight.

Ice

Phears watched her as she whent to hide. Women  could be such cowards sometimes. He could hear them coming closer. He sighed wondering how many people there were. The without much warning a large dog that was apparently with them lunged out of the brush. He leapt at phears and bit into his arm. He growled then grabbthe animal with his other hand. He wanted it to let go of him.

Umbra, while behind the rock, wasn't just sitting idle and being scared. She was pragmatigally hiding in order to not be a bother. Yet as shehe saw Phears struggling with the bloodhound, she couldn't help but sigh, her body starting to distort.

And she took shape of a massive demon, roaring loudly to scare the attackers away.

Ice

Phears was busy trying to get the beast to let go. Both the teeth of the animal and its touch hurt. He blinked when he heard a loud roar behind him . He glanced and saw what the odd woman had managed to turn in to. Hum maybe she was not a coward after all. Upon hearing the noise the dog released him and took off. However the men who were with the dog did not leave. " no more of your mind games monster. "One of then said to phears. He glanced at umbra then back to the men. "Shes no mind game" he said to them. Though they did not seem to believe him much.

Umbra turned to the humans speaking, a slow snarling came from her as she approached, before a soft, menacing chuckle resounded from the demon. "Care to.. Find out?" The massuve creature snarled, ground shaking under his weight.

Ice

Phears took a step back staring at the two men. He was kind of relived that he had some help now. The men looked at each other. The one dropped a bag he had and bolted. The other stared between Phears and the monster. Then even he left rather quickly. Phears blinked and waited to make sure that they were gone now.

Medievarad

The two men seemed to be quick on the uptake and fled the scenz. And only after Umbra was sure they left, she reverted back toto the form Phears had seen earlier, letting out a soft sigh.

Ice

Phears was glad to see that the men were gone. He moved his injured arm in front of him. He could feel that it was bleeding. Though he figured that it would stop eventually. " are you okay ?" He asked the woman now. He wanted to make sure she was not hurt or something.

Medievarad

"I am fine," she answered as she dusted off her coat, before glancing at him. "You however don't seem that way. Will you be alright?"

Ice

Phears was glad to know that she was okay. However when she returned the question he frowned at her. " well he bit me pretty good. But one it stops bleeding it should be okay" he told her now. It was not like he could really fix it here anyway.

Medievarad

Umbra nodded slowly. "Good, then lets not linger needlessly," she answered with a soft sigh..

Ice

Phears himself could not agree more with the woman. He could see that the bag they dropped was his. " Okay looks like they left my bag. Guess they found my camp." He stated. He moved to pick up the bag. He gave a glance inside. The strange blade he always had with him was still there. He knew that if she was really a magic user she would likely feel the magic from that blade. At least most did any how.

He grunted the word "ouch" as he put the bag over his shoulder." Come on we need to go now." He to her with a nod.a bit of blood dripped from his sleeve as he spoke. Blood loss was never a problem for him though.

Medievarad

"Mayhaps relocate, then?" Umbra advised with a soft frown, before turning around, nodding slowly. "Lead the way."

Ice

Phears looked at the woman and smirked a bit. " well to tell you the truth I never keep in one place anyhow. Monsters arnt welcome in most places. " he stayed with a slightly sad tone. He then moved forwards making sure she could keep up this time.  He did not want to leave her behind. That would be rude.

Medievarad

"Fair enough," Umbra answered with a soft shrug. Her voice being rather harsh to his predicament. But she had her own issues. His were but an annoyance compared to her own.

She fell into step next to him, taking large strides to keep up.

Ice

For some reason he was not really bothered by her lack of caring . Most did not really care about him anyway. " See that tall hill in the distance? That is about half way to our destination." He said with a nod. He knew that she probably didn't care but he figured he should let her know anyhow.

Medievarad

"And how long will it take us to get there?" She inquired with a soft frown.

Ice

Phears thought about her question for a second. " About four or five days. Just to get to the hill. That is if we don't get held up. After we get there it will be another for or five days to get to where she lives." He said with a blink. He had been to her home before. She was not the kindest woman in the world. But maybe she would help this girl here. Though he did not know why he cared about that. He just did for some reason.

Medievarad

"Ten days," she nodded with a soft sigh. "Alright. That's adequate," she answered, folding her hands behind her back. "What kind of person is this enchanter?"
