IN-DEPTH STUFF

Physical Description
Lavender is abnormally short and, well, small for her species, which is one of a few mutations which make her stand out from the rest. The other noticeable one would be her scales which, although primarily coloured a light purple, have several patches of white scales scattered about. There doesn't appear to be any pattern behind the placement of these patches, nor any particular area where they are the most concentrated. This anomaly shows up in other areas, too; her "gem" contains a faint swirl of white, and her hair, which otherwise matches the colour of her scales, also has a few streaks of white. Other than that, she's pretty much the same as the others, just... smaller. The scales are at least all in the right places, and her claws and tail are pretty normal as well. Her eyes are rather plain and have an orange colouration to them. Despite the fact that she has little reason to do so anymore, she tries to keep her hair all done up and pretty.

She has one other mutation, although it's a lot less obvious to onlookers- Lavender is actually completely colourblind. She has no way of telling different colours apart, save for differences in shading.

Personality
Lavender is... well, a bit odd. She was spoiled somewhat by the other members of her tribe- her purple and white colours made her particularly adored and desirable- but she's not necessarily a brat, either. As a result of how she was raised, she believes herself to be sort of "special" in comparison to others, and typically expects to get whatever she asks for. She wouldn't throw a fit if she didn't get it, though- that would be selfish, and being selfish was frowned upon.

...although she would probably be pretty disappointed.

She does, however, enjoy the company of others- partly because she's used to being showered with compliments. Back in her tribe, getting overly attached to others was a problem, but... well, it's not a problem anymore. So, now she's all clingy. :L

She also miiiight be a bit crazy. Just a little.

Magic/Abilities
Lavender has the ability to conjure and control fire, which is something she believes to be a gift from the First Flame itself. Her abilities aren't all that impressive- she can't create fires any larger than her own fist- but they mean the world to her.

Like many Kulshedra, she also has a very good sense of smell.

Relationships
Do former tribe members count? :[

History
From the moment of her birth, Lavender was seemingly destined for greatness among her tribe. Her purple scales were a rarity among her species, and therefore she would be appointed a more specialized job. Then there were her white scales- even rarer then the purple ones, they indicated her future position as a leader of sorts. As such, she received plenty attention as she grew, quickly becoming the pride of her tribe. She became convinced that she was somehow "special", that the colour of her scales signified that she was indispensable.

These feelings only grew when she first discovered that she could conjure flames. Her tribe saw this ability as a blessing from the First Flame, and began to praise her even more than they had before. However, they did make one thing clear- while Lavender's magic may have been bestowed by the First Fire, it wasn't part of it. Therefore, it was strictly forbidden for her to use it to light the Flame under any circumstances. While she wasn't too pleased to be essentially barred from using her abilities to their fullest, she decided to obey- after all, the punishment for such a grave sin would almost certainly be exile.

Well, at least she obeyed for a while.

Several years passed rather uneventfully- Lavender eventually got to the age where she was expected to start trying to have children, which she did quite happily (although, for some reason none of the tribe members were sure of, she didn't appear to have any preference for colour in her mates), but that was about it.

Then the Fire went out.

Nobody was really sure who was responsible, and were too busy panicking to worry about that. They didn't have enough of worth to trade for some of another tribe's Fire, and without any form of warmth, they would soon freeze to death. Lavender knew this, and though she knew what the consequences would be if she got caught, she figured it was better to provide a fire and face exile than do nothing and watch her friends and family die off. So, when she was absolutely sure nobody was looking, she snuck up to the barren bonfire pit and used her magic to light it.

It didn't take long for everyone to figure out who lit it again; they didn't have any other way of making fire, after all. Sure enough, when they confronted Lavender about it, she quickly admitted to her crime and accepted whatever punishment they deemed fitting. She was exiled shortly afterwards in accordance to the tribe's traditions, but nobody was too pleased about it.

She has no idea if the Fire is still burning, or what she's going to do now that she's in exile.
