This place was Mya's home. There was just no way that she could leave it, but sometimes you just have to do these things; Of course, she wasn't planning to leave just yet. She still had to help all the sick people in Hyoite with her healing skills. Luckily it was one of her favorite customers today. Mrs Hark'or. The old woman had a severe case of some disease that Mya couldn't even pronounce, but nevertheless she knew what could help the woman and it laid right here in the town. The trouble of this was of course finding the thing that would help heal her, at this stage Mya couldn't heal diseases with her simple hands; she had to find ingredients and mix them into a potion to give to the old lady and that was exactly what the young girl was going to do today.

Mya's Long Light blue hair reached down to her waist even though it was tied up with a black ribbon. She wore a long blue dress that covered up to her knees then followed by black boots that covered the rest of her legs. The girl's fragile face had a little makeup on it and she was covered by the strong perfume that she always wore everyday. Finding this plant shouldn't be any problem the only thing that Mya was worrying about was that the town hadn't had many visitors for ages. Sure, it was out in the middle of nowhere but surely someone would have to come here for some reason or another.
The only thing that this did was make Mya even more determined to find her family and bring them back to Hyoite and the people their that welcomed her so dearly to the town that she was beginning to fall in love with. Ever since she was small she had accompanied one of the village elders Borua and helped him in his home, in return she got to stay with him.

But as Mya began to think about her past she was instantly hit in the face with reality again. Only because of the powerful cold wind that had hit her hard in the face, it seemed that a storm was brewing and that meant that she had to find this herb before the snowstorm hit Hyoite and she wouldn't be able to see a thing. It seemed that everyone was inside preparing for the treachery that lay ahead, Mya should probably be helping Borua with his home but at the moment she had to find this herb for Mrs Hark'or.
The first thing that the young girl saw was the herb that she had been looking for. Now she had to get it out of the hard ground that it was stuck in; Mya bent down and tugged at it but unfortunately it didn't come out. Strength wasn't her strong point at all and the worst thing was that it didn't seem that anyone else was willing to help because they were all inside. Except for one more. Out of the shadows Mya could see a shadow that seemed to be moving towards her she couldn't make out exactly what it was and she really didn't want to because she was scared.
Hyoite hadn't had visitors for a long time, so whomever this person was they were mad to be out in the storm or otherwise they were really desperate to get their grubby hands on something.

Mya had no intention of waiting for this person to come help her out. She was a girl that could do everything on her own no matter what the situation. She pulled and tugged as hard as she could making sure that the shadow wasn't coming any closer, she didn't need any help and the last thing that Hyoite needed was strangers. She loved visitors who came here but ones that came in snowstorms were obviously here to stir up trouble. Mya tried one more time but unfortunately the plant didn't want to move and before she knew it the figure was before her.
She said the first thing that came to her head and couldn't help but feel nervous only because she still couldn't see the persons face.

(( D: I'm so sorry I took forever!! ))

Being of a species that was not native to Earth, or one that was at all acceptable in general terms, Ashley had a hard time healing wounds. Small cuts took weeks to heal with careful cleaning so they didn't become infected, this however would need some sort of healing that Dai couldn't give him. As always, he was perfect looking. Crystal blue eyes, pale smooth skin, black suit, wide rimmed black hat, his long black hair tied back in a braid, of course his wound gave him some odd features.

He'd hurt his arm in the kitchen, one of the cooks had almost squealed to the authorities of how he ate and he treated them in kind. The wound, which wrapped around his arm in a semi-deep clean cut line, by all means it would be perfectly healed and a fadding scar right now, unfortunately, Ashley didn't work like that and now it was a hot angry wound. Infected, red and crusty, full of gross ooozy puss, you name it, it was there.

After demanding a personal assistant to find a healer that worked with something other than magic, Ashley bundled Dai - his pet Unicorn - up and carted him to Hyoite. Backwards and too freaking cold for his taste. All for a stupid arm wound. In this case, the stupid arm wound was making Ashley sick, a fever, flushed cheeks. Odd patterns rose on his skin, dark dusky colour, the whites of his eyes were dark gray making his eyes all the more blue.

Blue hair.

Ashley walked along, Dai wrapped up in blanket, cradled in his good arm, and Ashley asked around for a few minutes, the supposed healer was a very blue woman. Women. Ashley could handle women. They were the best tasting. It took him a good few moments of walking to spot her out, once he did he made his way towards her, his foot steps rather silent and quick. He was taken by surprised when she said hello, and all Ashley could do was stare for a moment.

His arm stung horribly, his face was flushed with his fever and he was panting softly. As before, one arm was full of his pet, Dai, and the other was throbbing and hot at his side. "I'm going to assume you're the blue haired healer. I am Ashley, I require your assistance." He lifted Dai up gently, motioning to him, "This is Dai my p-... Guest, if you know of one, we also need a place to stay." Ashley held out his wounded arm, the discoloured blood seeping through the bandage. "It's urgent, money is no object." His voice was deep and soothing, a lullaby, easily able to lull someone to sleep.

Rhindeer

Dai's teeth chattered and he cuddled close to Ashley for warmth, pulling the blanket up to his nose and resting his head against Ashley's chest with his own chin tucked down. He was careful, of course, to watch out for his horn so it didn't poke him or stab him or anything unpleasant like that, and his long, tufted tail was curled around one of his legs beneath the blanket to keep it warm and toasty. He hadn't objected to Ashley carrying him like this--it was freezing, and Dai was not used to the cold. What he had objected to was where Ashley's hand was resting, firmly on his rump, but once the cold really set in he stopped caring.

His horse-like ears rested flat against his head, cold like the rest of him, and his waist-length sea-green hair was tied back into a thick braid, only the bangs and some flyaway hairs free and curling around his face. He didn't know why they had to come all the way out here--well, no, he did, he could smell the infection much less see it. But it didn't make sense that the only healer that would suit Ashley's purposes was way out here.

The long journey probably hadn't helped Ashley much.

As it was, he didn't look good, and it frustrated Dai that he hadn't been able to heal him. It was such a minor cut! He should have been able to fix it, and easily. He'd fixed worse injuries on other people...

Sighing softly, feeling rather useless right now though he supposed he made an all right hand-warmer right now, he closed his eyes against the stinging cold--but that was when a female voice called out, and his turquoise eyes snapped open. There was the blue-haired woman Ashley had been looking for; what crazy luck. Dai shifted a little, ears perking up hopefully, and he lowered the blanket just enough so that he could smile at her. Then he jumped when Ashley lifted him, grabbing for Ashley's shoulder to hang on.

He raised an eyebrow as he was introduced as Ashley's 'guest', but didn't correct him. It wasn't the truth, but it was better than being called by what he really was, a pet--which was embarrassing.

"Hi," he greeted quietly after Ashley had made his introduction, his tail wagging a little under the blanket. A place to stay. Gods, he couldn't wait to get indoors and out of the cold! But more importantly, Ashley could get healed now!

Hopefully the healing didn't include an amputation. The wound looked and smelled really nasty, and he could feel the fever-heat radiating off of Ashley's body.

The response that Mya got was quick and one that she hadn't been expecting. Here in Hyoite they hardly ever got visitors and even more surprisingly they hade came for her. It was quiet and odd feeling being wanted, even more odd when being wanted by a total stranger. She learnt that the mans name was Ashley and that he wanted her assistance with something, Mya couldn't help but stare at the mans face innocently, she had to admit that she was a good healer but when it came to talking to people, well that was one of her many weak spots. However it was something that she was trying to improve.

"Well... Uh... Sure" Mya stuttered rather surprised. She was the type of girl that knew she could do things by herself and do it right and this was her time to prove it to these strangers.

Mya looked at Ashley and then to his guest who was called "Dai".

The wound looked rather bad and even worse the storm was getting worse, there was no way that Mya could provide Dai with his needs out here, she would have to go to the local inn and at least let the two travelers rest there. Mya was just about to lead the pair off to the inn when she heard a little, "Hi" pop out of Dai's mouth, Mya gave him a little smile and then nodded towards Ashley as if to say "follow"

The journey to the inn seemed like a long one filled with silence, there would be more time to chat with these strangers when Dai's injury had been attended to. It shouldn't be that hard to heal that wound as Mya kept most of her things in her house which was across the road from the inn. Suddenly Mya stopped, she was outside her house and just across the road you could see the glowing lights from the inn; she pointed towards it and nodded to the pair to tell them to go in and make themselves comfortable.

She walked inside her house hoping that the two had followed her instructions, she got all the necessary things to help her complete the process of healing Dai and once she had got everything she made her way towards the mind-numbing inn. She looked around for both Ashley and Dai and spotted the two immediately, when she had been at her house she had got some of the things ready, she had put the ointment on the leaf and now all she needed was her healing powers.

The wound was starting to smell really bad and she just wanted this over as soon as possible; Mya quickly put the leaf with the ointment onto Dai's wounds and then put her hands over the leaf, now the only thing she had to was wait for Dai's wound to start aching, once that happened, Mya knew that everything was working.

((Sorry for the yuckyyy post))

(( X3 there must have been a mix-up! Ashley is the one with the gross cut on his arm, Dai's a unicorn-dude so he can heal himself and generally heal other things, but because Ashley is a weird nasty-type demon and Dai's happy healy magics do nothing D:.)

Ashley was put off at her dismissive nature. She didn't even stare.  Even lesbians stared at Ashley, he was andryogenous. He was pretty, he was handsome. This woman just nodding at him to follow her, that rubbed his ego against the fur and he huffed at her silently carrying Dai close to himself as he followed the lithe little girl. They stopped suddenly and Ashley paused, frowning at her before turning to where she pointed.

Fantastic. An Inn. Ashley gave a solemn nod and carried Dai into the building. The chilling cold was biting and it made his fingers and cheeks red, he took a moment to glare at Dai, all curled and cuddled up against his warm arm and shoulder under the blanket. Gently he let his pet down, giving him a gentle pat on the head before wrapping the blanket up around his neck. "Don't let down the blanket, you'll get cold." the wounded arm was held at his side and his good arm digging around in his pocket for the right amount of coin to get everything they needed.

The man at the counter gave the coins a look, pretending to not care that it was probably the most money he'd ever gotten from a single room. One large bed, a fireplace, a small table for a small meal and room enough for a bath.  Once this lovely chore was over with, his arm that is, he'd want a hot bath to warm his bones. Dai first though. Ashley paused for a moment, putting a slender finger to his chin before tapping it twice and dismissing the random thought. No, he wouldn't squish himself into a metal tub with Dai.

It would be far too crowded.

Ashley was unceremoniously pulled from his musings to a sharp stinging pain that made him give an inhuman hiss, momentarily his eyes changed shape and colour, melted into a dark colour, iris a bright blue and the surrounding area black. His voice held a low rumble as he spoke to the healer, "A little warning would have been welcome, Miss." He took a calming breath and held out his arm, the stench of infection was strong and he stared at it.  Gross.
