Basically this is a major lineage of questions here, id probably press further as i keep thinking more about it.

Are merchant guilds nationbound or international?

If not nationbound then how international can they get before rising political tensions?

Are merchant guilds gathered or widespread?

Do they have a figurehead noble family or is it so that each of serendipitys provinces have one guild and one figurehead that represent the guild and then a main branch within the capital that cooperates with Adela, connlaoth, la marri, yoerqi isles?

The king obviously has a say in trade so does that mean that each family has a figurehead within the merchant guild or is the merchant guild considered separate? do they even have a merchant guild? It said that even merchants can become noble and that means to pyramid effect. Using the trade itself to gain power, eventually growing so powerfull to either be assigned a province by the king or simply to be elevated to noble and then take suffer the consequences that bring?

what does the king expect of his merchant nobles?

What is adelan stance upon merchant nobles?

Just what and with who do Adela' serendipity, la marri , Youreqi isles, Thanatos connlaoth trade with?

how popular are conjurors? can silk be conjured? what about water and bread? teleportation useage in warfare and otherwise?

Hows banking going ? Do they even have a bank? or is it more about mining? Can alchemy develop real gold or will it be considered fake? What about the kings reserves? how much? what for? when does he spend it? How often is Arca's old castle get improved upon?

Whats the limit to magical barriers, alarms and do they need to be maintained or could it be a sigil, rune based system with an observer rune room? Just how dependant are Serenians reliant on their magic to build and prosper? human to magic user ratio? Construction workers are mandatory magic users or is it more of a you could be human but wed rather youd be a magician basis?

Just how many jobs do require one to be a magic user?

How dependant on mages are Adela comparison with Serenians? Just what does Essryn, Connlaoth and La marri provide that they cant make themselves? Especially Connlaoth, one should expect a nation of mage killers arent exactly normal traders? what do they trade with adela and serendipity? what do they trade back with in return? human to mordecai ratio?

Here's a few answers. :3 Not all of them, but most.

QuoteAre merchant guilds nationbound or international?
If not nationbound then how international can they get before rising political tensions?
Are merchant guilds gathered or widespread?
All these would depend on the individual guild. Some might function across borders, some would be smaller scale.

QuoteDo they have a figurehead noble family or is it so that each of serendipitys provinces have one guild and one figurehead that represent the guild and then a main branch within the capital that cooperates with Adela, connlaoth, la marri, yoerqi isles?
Allll of that would basically depend on what the players in control of the guild and the province choose to set up. :3

QuoteIt said that even merchants can become noble and that means to pyramid effect. Using the trade itself to gain power, eventually growing so powerfull to either be assigned a province by the king or simply to be elevated to noble and then take suffer the consequences that bring?
Nobility cannot be taken in Serendipity. It can only be granted by a higher noble and/or the sovereign.

Quotewhat does the king expect of his merchant nobles?
Which king?

QuoteWhat is adelan stance upon merchant nobles?
Just what and with who do Adela' serendipity, la marri , Youreqi isles, Thanatos connlaoth trade with?
Adela is the gateway between the north and south. Essyrn, La'marri, Zantaric, and all southern settlements must pass through Adelan lands and waters to reach Serendipity, Connlaoth, and Hyoite.  It gives Adela hefty economic influence, and given that it is much easier to seize power in Adela than in Serendipity, a wealthy merchant could easily rise to significant power in Adela. Political power in Adela can be taken by force or coin, whereas in Serendipity there are checks on that kind of activity.

QuoteHows banking going ? Do they even have a bank?
Not exactly like modern banks, but there are moneylenders. And temples and palaces provide some of the functions of a primitive bank. Essyrn is ahead of all other nations and cities in terms of banking developments.

Quoteor is it more about mining?
That...would really depend on what region you're talking about. xD

QuoteCan alchemy develop real gold or will it be considered fake?
Sure, it would be considered real, but producing it is so difficult and time consuming and takes so many resources that it is not a feasible source of gold even for an individual.

QuoteWhat about the kings reserves? how much? what for? when does he spend it? How often is Arca's old castle get improved upon?
Uh...which king? xD And you'd have to ask Gold about Arca's palace.

QuoteWhats the limit to magical barriers, alarms and do they need to be maintained or could it be a sigil, rune based system with an observer rune room?
This is all dependent on an individual set of circumstances, including where it is, what the purpose of them are, who set them up, how long ago, and what methods they used. You'd have to get a lot more specific to get an answer to that.

QuoteJust how dependant are Serenians reliant on their magic to build and prosper?
Magic is an everyday part of Serenian life.

QuoteJust how many jobs do require one to be a magic user?
Whichever jobs require magic would require a magic user. x3

QuoteHow dependant on mages are Adela comparison with Serenians?
Adela relies considerably less on magic than Serendipity does.

Quotehow popular are conjurors? can silk be conjured? what about water and bread? teleportation useage in warfare and otherwise?
Just what does Essryn, Connlaoth and La marri provide that they cant make themselves?
Magic is not limitless. You can't use magic to make something out of nothing for instance, and it can't do everything.

So basically for any system that is not set up. Player founded ones that are active, look good on the sote setting and is well maintained by a fairly active player will be considered genuine after admin consulting?

ok let me rephrase my magic questions.

Upon constructing a building, would a Serenian use a crane, hammer and chisel. A blender to make mortar or simply use magic?

For example the construction of a roman arc doorway or how to keep a buildings roof in place (dome etc.) how much can a builders guild depend on equipment versus how much can you construct simply by using magic and the prime ingedients for a house? stone, mortar and wood?

Also a city building question. Do they use stone and mortar or is wood the primary material? Would Arca, Ketra, Thanatos or even Connlaoth's buidlings be more roman styled with pillars and hard stone or is it more La marri country inspired, how tall can a building or tower get? can they if they so desired. Build a skyscraper or a giant mall type building using the mideveal modern design of pillars and mortar with steel bars inside?

Just in general how are the cities defined and toned?  What do they expect of building designers?

Im assuming there aint any industrial revolution going on in connlaoth. That its more post industry but given their tinkering and independance from magic, how faar are they in therms of that kind of industry? Making muskets for example would be rather simplified if they could mass produce them on demand.

Then its defence, even with the naturally inclined walls of mountains, do they have giant cannons etc to repel eventual dragon rider raids? x3 its just a thought or well more of a concern.

Especially concerining teleportation and mages escaping connlaoth. Could the catacombs be linked with a teleportation device that requires magic to induce the actual teleportation? thusly with Serenian cooperation be able to transport mages out of Connlaoth but also mages into connlaoth?

Oh god im just questioning more and more. x3

Pretty much everything here depends on the specific location and the materials available there.

Connlaoth is pre-industrial.

QuoteThen its defence, even with the naturally inclined walls of mountains, do they have giant cannons etc to repel eventual dragon rider raids? x3 its just a thought or well more of a concern.
Giant cannons, no. Some form of simpler cannon, yes.

QuoteEspecially concerining teleportation and mages escaping connlaoth. Could the catacombs be linked with a teleportation device that requires magic to induce the actual teleportation? thusly with Serenian cooperation be able to transport mages out of Connlaoth but also mages into connlaoth?
Sure, teleportation is a possible strategy to use in those situations. Serendipity—and by that I mean the government of Serendipity—is unlikely to risk the current good relations with Connlaoth by trying to sneak mages in or out, but some other group might engage in such activities.
