When she'd managed to steal enough money she didn't mind coming to places like this.

She stood by the entry of a tavern, just staring at one of the windows as she listened to the noise she was sure would seem deafening once she entered. Usually big, heavily populated places made her nervous, but she wasn't intending on robbing anyone or anything so she had a lot less to worry about. Hopefully those on this side of town didn't really know her or of her all that well; she liked to keep it that way. Once the street had cleared -with quite a few making their way to the establishment she stood by- she turned and slowly stepped forward to enter herself.

As she predicted, it was very loud. Rolling her eyes, she made a bee line for the first empty table she could find. She knew it would be loud, after all she did decide to come out fairly late at night, but she cringed at the thought of enduring this steady roar for several more hours. Looking around, realizing how packed it was already, she promptly leaned back and kicked the rest of the chairs around her table away, a small move to deter strangers from trying to sit with her; she preferred solitude when she ate and she was already making a sacrifice to her sanity in coming to such a popular place.

What had lured her was the idea of something good to eat where she didn't have to prepare it herself. It was rare that she had a meal in a city, much less somewhere where she could sit and just wait for food to appear. In this respect she wasn't all that picky and the only criteria she wanted was a place that she'd never been to before because, well, it was just easier to not be noticed.

It took a while since the place was so busy, but she eventually got an order in. Not long after she got a glass of water placed in front of her. She was sure there were enough men in the room to drink her share, she didn't feel the need to add to the drunkenness. Now, though, she could only sit awkwardly as she waited, occasionally sipping from her glass as she looked about the room attempting to appear busy.

Amkus smiled as he walked into a tavern even he didn't know. But, it was bustleing and maybe he could get for a song or two or maybe some less.... Saintly of things. He opened the door and light shined in. "Top of the day my good lords and ladies." A group of large bearded men approached Amkus.

"Sonny this bar is for grown men I think your to young for this room." With a smirk and a flash of his wit he rebutted. "That is not what your sister said while I was in her chambers last night." With a guffaw by the men they let the boy pass.

Any hope the boy had of preforming was dash the bar roared as if a living beast. This was no place for his music. But he made no hurry for the door he found a single chaired table facing the door.He sat as a bar maid approached him. "What will you be drinking today son?" Amkus looked up and with a smile said. "Well beautiful do they keep you in casks?" He chuckled and continued. "Just a piece of bread with some jam please."

He looked around the bar a grand showing of people indeed,he always did like Serendipity everyone welcomed everyone. The maid returned and Amkus traded the bread for a pouch of copper coins. "Keep what ever is left." He took his bread, his bow and quiver, his sword, and most importantly his vitos case.He probably looked like he was searching for someone, and he was just someone to interest him. He grew tired of farm folk and city folk he wanted something different.

As she scanned the room she noticed a group gathering at the door. It was loud, she couldn't her what they were saying, but a few moments later she heard laughter and the people disbursed. Curious, she watched and listened, wondering if she might catch anyone talking about whatever had gone on up there, but she was left clueless. She did see a boy moving further into the room, though, a rather short boy by the looks of it. She smirked and averted her gaze, ignoring the newcomer.

By the time her food came, Dacia had gotten through her glass of water and, upon asking for another, was teased by some drunks at a neighboring table for not "loosening up". Rolling her eyes, she focused her attention on her meal and ate quietly as loud jokes and stories carried on around her. When her fresh glass of water arrived she began contemplating the idea of switching tables, but she knew that there were none around that would afford much in the way of relief from the noise. She didn't really mind it so much that she couldn't stand it, she'd known what she was walking into, but it was getting irritating to say the least. She wasn't about to make herself painfully obvious by standing up or anything, though, so she just sat there.

Once she'd finished eating there wasn't really much to do but drink her water and watch the people around her. With nothing else to do and not really needing to leave with any urgency, Dacia leaned back in her chair and did just that.

Amkus pushed his way through the drunks and off duty guards when he came to a slight opening. There about fifteenth feet away sat a group of guess what more drunks but next to them a girl her back towards him he stopped a bar maid he whispered. "Who is she?" The bar maid looked at the girls back she shrugged."I do not know she came in asked for some water her clothes aren't noble but not poor she is most likely a merchant." He nodded a thanks and thought it over for a minute.

Do I have anything of worth hmm I have that pendant from that noble's daughter I swooned off her. But for all I know that is as fake as her wig was. Who knows she could be some noble trying to get a thrill by being with us "common folk." Well she is alone and I need a little company it's worth a shot. Remember she is a lady treat her as such. He picked himself up and approached the women.

He rounded the tavern so he confronted her to the front. "Greetings milady and how might you be this fine day?"

As she'd thought, just watching people acting drunk was boring, especially when they weren't doing anything particularly funny. A bit bored, she set down her glass and stared at the settling water. The least thing she'd expected was someone actually approaching her, so when the boy spoke up it startled her a bit. She didn't want to really give off that she'd been caught off guard, so she froze for a moment before tilting her head up and peering across the table at him.

It wasn't often that she was approached; she was a thief after all and preferred to remain hidden during a good portion of the day. What was even more surprising was that the person who'd come up to her seemed so...well, young. While she knew all too well that looks could be quite deceiving, she had to stifle a chuckle as she looked at Amkus; to her he seemed out of place at a place like this, like he was some kid that'd happened upon the wrong building. And yet he seemed so sure of himself. Mulling it over for a moment in silence, she came to the conclusion for herself that he was either as young as she thought he was or was cursed with boyish looks.

"Hi," she started slowly, shaking her head a little and looking off randomly. "I'm fine." She didn't want to make it easy to get an in and, thinking such, she merely answered his question without offering one of her own. Dacia was betting on his confidence being somewhat of a tactic and actually being quite artificial. Thinking herself the smart one, she figured he'd be dragging himself away without much further talk out of sheer embarrassment, but that was a flaw of hers.

She was quick and to the awnser... He liked that and even though he might have caught her day dreaming he thought nothing on it. " I'd hate to push myself into your day but, you seemed alone and by chance so am I." He smirked as he found a seat that she most likely moved because the small table had seven chairs around it. Slideing it he  placed his sword on the back of the chair his bow on his lap and his vitos case on the ground.Sitting he crossed one leg over the other.

He looked at the women she wasn't prim and proper oh not by any means. But, she wasn't a gutter bug that had crawled in trying to escort a man for some cash. The merchant idea still stood... Unless she was something a bit more dark, a bounty hunter or perhaps a spy.  The bread he chewed on grew rubbery he hailed a maid and asked. "A glass of red wine please, yes just a glass." The bar maid returned and Amkus traded her for a pouch of copper coins again. Sipping me smiled in the light and tart taste it gave him.

"Now, what is a beautiful lady as yourself doing on her lonesome? Although, Serendipity isn't the most danger filled of places." He shruged as he thought Looks like I'm in for a night tonight.

As he moved a chair over to the table she simply observed, fascinated that he was actually going to stick around, at least for a while. She didn't think that he truly minded at all whether or not he was wheedling his way into her day, getting her to talk, but she didn't really mind either because she did spend quite a bit of time on her own. From what she could see he had a lot of stuff he was carrying around, and seemingly random stuff at that. It got her a little curious, but she wasn't going to let onto that so easily, so she merely nodded in acknowledgment of what he'd said.

Watching the interactions between the man and the bar maid, Dacia was a little surprised that he'd ordered a drink. Of course she knew where they were, but she couldn't get over how he looked and how he just didn't fit her idea of a drinking man. The brief compliment, though a bit corny in such a setting, got a twinge of a smile across her lips, but she turned her head with the hope of making herself less noticeable. "I don't worry about danger," she said straightforwardly. I thrive on it, she thought, glancing at him. "I'm just traveling, though, just wandering really. I ended up here and decided to go ahead and spend the night." Again, she wasn't posing any questions of her own. She guessed, though, that he might say more on his own without any prompting.

He gave slight grin when he heard of her not fearing danger, the bounty hunter idea seemed more and more plausible. He found this women intresting although a few years older then himself yet still quite beautiful. " Ahh understandable, most people are wandering. I hope they have a room I'd hate to sleep on this dirty floor, much less the streets. A women of danger you don't say I have seen my share of it." Amkus sipped on his wine and cough as he say the error of his ways.

" I'm sorry ma'am how rude of me. I am Amkus Delgyth, oh how rude of me asking all these silly questions." He offered his hand. " I am what some call me a bard, I prefer a history book on feet." He shifted in his seat as he felt movement on his back. Turning around he found a whore trying to slip his sword out from under him. Smacking her hand she cursed an left. " Gotta love this city!" He exclaimed.

She couldn't agree more about sleeping in the streets; she'd done her fair share of that throughout her life. It surprised her a bit, though, when he said that he'd seen his share of danger. She brushed it off with the clear mindset that he was lying, perhaps trying to impress her, because she just refused to believe that someone who appeared to be younger than herself had seen much of anything in their life. She was quite biased in that respect.

As he introduced himself and held out his hand to her, she nodded and shook his outstretched hand purely for the sake of manners. She saw no reason to trust him at all, but she also couldn't see any to not give him a chance since he seemed bold enough for one so young. So, she settled between the two and decided to treat the situation with indifference, a reward of sorts for his boldness for she saw no reason to treat him rudely at present.

"A bard?" She'd never met a bard before, most likely because she couldn't afford to frequent any place that would hire of host them. Nonetheless, it sounded vaguely impressive to her. "That sounds..interesting." Watching as a woman approached the young man's back, Dacia couldn't help but smirk. She knew all too well what it took to successfully sneak up on someone and the lady was most certainly too drunk to pull off what she intended. Amused, she folded her hands and rested her chin atop them and watched the scene before her, watched Amkus take notice and shoo the woman away. Grinning, she shook her head a bit and said a short, "Indeed."

"So, you sing, yes?" she asked, curiosity getting the better of her as she pressed for more information. Of course, she wasn't planning on letting him know anything truthful about what she did for a living and began thinking of what he might believe as a cover if he asked about her in turn.

ooc: Sorry for taking so long to get this out! ><

Amkus chuckled she seemed amused by his shooing of the drunken women. "Sing well I guess there are times I have serenaded when asked to. A man mustmake money some how." He shifted in his seat.

"Indeed I do sing but I do alot of other things, I find it my job to bring life where it is so without any joy that only music can revive it.A bard can be many things some use it as intertwined with spy, I guess if the right person with the right amount of gold I could try my luck as a spy." Amkus rubbed his chin and nodded.

"I don't see myself as a great man just a man that can help his fellow men." He spoke as to reassure himself that his choice of work was the right one. " Hmm a women of danger has to have a line of work that is dangerous. If you see no harm could I ask what do you do?" Amkus was intrested in this women, well to be fair he was intrested in all women, but there was something about her that made her diffrent then your run-of-the-mill girl.

A spy? Look at him, she honestly couldn't see a spy in him. To her, he seemed very carefree and boy-like for a position such as that. Perhaps acting like an oaf would keep him alive if he became one, she thought, slightly amused by this. Dacia figured he was wise, though, as he did not call himself great, extremely able, talented, or anything else big-headed like that. While she held little respect for anyone, she appreciated those who did not boast.

As he cut straight to the point, she flinched. She hadn't expected him to ask about her 'work' so suddenly, though she'd figured he would have at some point. "Ah, that," she began, cracking a half smile and turning her head to look out at those surrounding them. "I work in a highly specialized area. My skills are quite...infamous." She adjusted herself on her seat and placed an elbow on the table, resting her chin nonchalantly within her palm. Then, she slowly brought her focus back to Amkus, though not before taking note of the exits to the room she could take if need be.

"You look like a nice boy," she teased. "It would be a shame to have to kill you if I told you." Really, she was bluffing. Her pride told her she was important, but in actuality she was a poor, dirty woman with few prospects for her life. She thought he seemed capable of holding his own, but he didn't need to know that she was virtually harmless here, right?

((Sorry for the delay have been under the weather.)) "Oh my dearest apologies milady, I had no idea that you were a women of that intent." Amkus looked at the women trying to place a idea who she was, she could be a common thief but she held her head very high for one though this could be self ego petting. Then again she could always be a great crime boss so it was worth a chance. She interested Amkus which for most women that was a feat to only reach for and that was enough for him to dig a little more on this women. Don't trap yourself here boy you must always watch your head.

"I would hate for you to have to strike down a simple bard it be a waste of a clean bard indeed.Well if you are the grand women you say I should as a gentleman buy you a fine meal it's the least I could do.Anything you want ma'am gold is no object." Amkus waved down a lad that wore a masculine version of the bar maid outfit. "Hello lad, first please tell whoever buys your wine it was wonderful. Second, please take care of this lovely lady for whatever she would care for." He motioned across the table to Dacia. " I will take the bill when she is done, thank you." The boy turned his gaze to the women with a coy smile he said. "And what will the lady be having today."
