Physical Description
In his human form, Sahak is tall and athletic, though his muscles are of the more lithe, slender variety. Though his shoulders are fairly broad, he has a tapering waist, and overall gives an impression of sinewy strength. Though he has no idea how old he is, his basic appearance is somebody in their late 20s - early 30s. His skin is a dark, dusky brown color, with a pattern of wide lines that form runes across his body in a color a few shades paler than his skin tone. Occasionally these runes will flush with a glowing blue-purple, generally just flickering or rippling across one part of his body before disappearing again. His hair is rather short and messy, except for a long thick braid down his back - all of it is an ivory white color, which contrasts with his dark skin. Protruding from the top of his head are two large slate gray horns, which bow out a little near the base but then grow back toward each other (look up Nyala horns on google, similar horns but without the curling/twisting). Equally non-human are the shade of his eyes - they are a rather intense, rich orange, and tend to be the first feature of his face one notices as they 'pop' against the dark shade of his skin.
Interestingly enough, his ears are cropped at an angle (like a Doberman's), so the entire upper half is missing. His only scars are actually on his face - more specifically, his mouth. Just above his upper lip, and just below his lower, he has a line of puncture scars. Despite the unusual quality of these scars, his mouth itself would likely draw a lot more attention - his teeth are triangular and pointed, almost like shark teeth. On top of that, the inside of his mouth is black, though there is a purplish-blue glow from somewhere deep in his throat.
The appearance of his lips and mouth are not often seen, however, due to his unusual choice in 'clothes'. The only legitimate piece of clothing are his ragged, faded, old pale brown pants that reach to about mid-calf. Other than that, he is devoid of actual clothes, aside from the tattered white strips of cloth, much like what's used to bandage wounds. It's wrapped haphazardly around his feet and hands, as well as around the bottom half of his face, though the ends of all are left free and tend to flutter about wherever they please in the desert wind.

He has a non-human form but I am far too lazy to describe it right now. So I won't. And you just have to deal with it. Until laterz ~

Personality
Sahak really doesn't have the slightest idea how to act appropriately in society, and he really just doesn't give a rat's ass about learning either. He's arrogant, with a surprisingly large ego for a guy who wanders around in the desert for a living. Stubborn, strong willed, and abrasive, Sahak tends to bully conversations and completely take over their flow - and if he happens to be pitted against somebody just as forceful as himself, any attempts at conversation will likely degrade into a yelling match. And if he can't win that, there's a good chance he'll simply try to eat the other person instead (yes, eat them).
Despite his horrible people skills, Sahak is painfully lonely and cannot help but seek out companionship when it becomes too much to handle. Of course, the sentiment of being 'lonely' is a weak one in his opinion, and he takes great pains to make sure it's not obviously his driving force. Thus, he's just as overbearing as always when he does sniff out people to talk to - any interaction is better than none, and he doesn't seem to mind the fact his encounters are brief due to his poor company.
Sahak is rather fickle, and can change his mind at the drop of a hat at times. He's also pretty easily bored, and will either leave a boring situation or do something drastic to spice things up. The lives of mortals don't really seem to weigh heavily on his conscious either - these days, when he finds a lost traveler, he's equally likely to leave them, help them, or eat them. It all depends on his mood at the time.
And when it comes to people he actually likes, this particular desert guardian could be considered quite tsundere.

Magic/Abilities
Guardian Form - His biggest ability is to take on the huge beast form when it is necessary. Made from the very desert itself, the creature is a pure nature guardian tasked with keeping the dunes safe. It is nearly indestructible, with all but the finest enchanted weapons often glancing off it's hard carapace without even a scratch. The spirit of the creature resides within the runes inscribed on Sahak's body, and it is by the creature's power that Sahak no longer ages or has a mortal body. Should the Guardian be killed, it is almost certain that Sahak would shrivel up and die along with it.

Unaging - Sahak stopped aging long ago, when he first became burdened with the task of playing host to a Guardian. He no longer gets ill, nor does he suffer from the intense temperature fluctuations found naturally in the desert. Though he can be wounded in his 'normal' human form, he bleeds sand, and his wounds stitch themselves back together almost instantly - all by the power of the Guardian currently using his body.

Iron Stomach - Sahak can eat anything. Literally. Anything. (Interestingly enough, though, he does not actually NEED to eat or drink a thing to survive)

Relationships
Considering his ridiculous personality, he really doesn't have much in the way of relationships currently (and his penchant for eating people doesn't help). But please, by all means, come on by. Sahak always loves discovering new [strike:30tr138k]snacks[/strike:30tr138k] friends.

History
He's been a Guardian so long that he rarely ever thinks back on his life as an ordinary human. And really, he has little reason to - his life before this endless wandering was actually worse. Sahak was born into slavery, it was his reality from day one. All things considered, things weren't too bad until he hit puberty and grew something of a stubborn streak.
Stubborn slaves don't generally do well.
Regular beatings aside, he made a few really stupid decisions, one of which earning him his cropped ears. the biggest bad decision, however, was his choice to join in with a group of fellow slaves attempting a violent revolt.
It didn't end well.
As punishment, they all had their hands bound behind their backs, and their mouths sewn shut, before they were taken into the desert and abandoned. Sahak vaguely remembers a lot of walking in the scorching sands, and the miserable deaths of one after another of his fellow slaves. The details are rather hazy, but when he was the only one left, and near death himself, the Guardian made itself known.
He entered into something of a 'contract' with the spirit, lending his flesh to the bodiless Guardian in exchange for life free of the suffering caused in the desert.

Not the most exciting re-telling, but then, he really doesn't like to dwell on the specifics of it all too much. His human life no longer matters, so he feels it unnecessary to reminisce about a dark past.
