PHYSICAL APPEARANCE
Long, red-gold waves spill down past Holly's shoulders to her mid-back, but she often keeps her long hair braided with blue ribbons. High cheekbones are highlighted by a petite nose and a soft, delicate jaw and chin. Her eyes are large and a deep, dark shade of blue with long, thick eyelashes to match her silky hair. Holly's lips are full, soft, and a rosy shade of pink.
Connlaoth is a nation of people of a shorter, stouter make, and Holly doesn't break from that mold very much. She's a little on the taller side for women, but honestly not enough to make someone look twice, though her legs are long and shapely. Boasting an hourglass figure with curvy hips, trim waist, and a healthy bust, she is a vivacious young woman worth casting a glance at.
While her parents would dress her up in gowns and dresses, as the noble girls would wear, Holly much prefers the simpler fashion of the lower caste. The women's pants hug her legs and are easy to move around in, and the bodices, half-jackets, and shirts are way more practical than the frills of lace and satin.
PERSONALITY
She's really a very sweet, generous girl, who enjoys making friends with people that other people of her birth might look down their noses on. For Holly, there just isn't a reason for such social divide. A person is a person whether they're dressed in rags or silks, right? Some might not think so, but to her, it matters far more what is on the inside than on the outside. Anyone can change their clothes.
Other than being kind and giving, Holly has a strong spirit of adventure and fun. She likes to laugh, to see, hear, and try new things, and to be able to do it without someone looking down at her or judging her for who she finds to be good company. Girls just want to have fun?
There are two sides to every coin, and Holly is no different. Stubbornness runs just as deep in her as a caring heart does. Seriously this girl could teach a mule a thing or two. She does love her parents, but they suffer the brunt of this stubbornness. They have plans for her, but have never once asked her what she wanted or what her plans were. The idea that her life is not hers to live infuriates her. She is not a belonging; she is a woman with her own thoughts, dreams, and desires!

Holly loves to draw and paint, she's a very talented young artist, and is extremely well-educated, as befitting the daughter of a wealthy merchant. While considered completely unnecessary, Holly was also taught to sew, knit, and embroider, more out of tradition than any real need for such domestic skills. After all, she'd have servants to do such chores.
More importantly she was educated in all the etiquette needed for her to be a proper young lady. Because of their wealth, her parents have high hopes that she could be married to a minor noble house, perhaps to a younger son not directly in the inheritance.

BACKSTORY
Holly was the only child born to Jessica and Delmar Marston. Delmar Marston is a very wealthy merchant in the textiles business, importing and exporting luxurious fabrics and furs from all over the world with very lucrative results. Because of this and her being the only child, her parents lavished her with all the material things that could possibly spoil a child. Though they weren't as inattentive as some parents with business and wealth, they weren't exactly the most hands-on parents either.
Holly grew up mostly alone with only tutors to speak with. She wasn't allowed to play with the children that ran and shouted in the streets in front of the house, because they were 'beneath' her. Of course, that didn't stop her. Holly has run away almost every day since she was six years old. Not really running away, mind you, but sneaking out of the house to do as she very well pleased and her stuffy parents could be damned!
She's matured into quite a remarkable young woman, with a rather unorthodox life. Her parents have been trying to find the younger son of a lesser lord to marry her to since she was sixteen years old. However, all such plans have been sabotaged and thwarted by Holly herself, who has no intentions of following along with all these "plans" her parents have for her.
