Get Up and Let's Go Taste Testing! (Xcav)

Rima was excited so excited she couldn't sleep as much as usual. Kiron slept like a baby just as usual as she laid there watching him waiting for the sun to finish rising and the sunlight to hit a spot on the floor she decided to use as a marker of sorts to help tell time.

The two of them were planning on going out to the market to try some food around town. One she had her eyes on for a while,  it was a small food stall that serves seafood with potatoes soup. They had so many kinds,  creme,  spicy and savory just to name a few.

Time must have flown quicker than she anticipated and pretty soon the marker was hit. Jumping up out of bed she changes into her day clothes quickly before poking Kiron's shoulder and back,  "Wakey wakey artichokey." Rima says smiling. "Time to go eat a ton of food."

I WISH I WAS NEVER BORN!

Kiron woke up suddenly gasping for air. He looked over to Rima with her warm smile, the one she always had no matter what the situation was. He finally heard her voice after being lost in thought for a moment. "Oh right, the food thing ya wanted to do. Lemme just get my clothes on...- OOOF."

Kiron fell out of the bed and onto the floor. He rolled over and looked at his leg. A giant gash across across the thigh that coiled onto his calf. Placing his hand on the bed he got up and dressed himself. "Guess this shit is still limp since the labyrinth. It's already been 3 damn months and it still hasn't fully healed. Even with your help huneybuns. But that's not going to stop me from eating some great food."

Unlike his normal armor-like clothing that he tends to wear. Kiron had formally retired his position as the recruit trainer just before he left for his trip to the labyrinth. Retired at only 31 years old, that's quite the feat. He grabbed his crutch from behind the curtain.

"Ready to go when you are."

Rima smiles after Kiron rolled off the bed but it faded a bit for a second at the mention of Kiron's leg. They tried everything in the books and in their knowledge to try and help make the leg more workable. But at least he was still alive and well otherwise and that was good enough for her.

She smiles again and marches out of the house keeping a good enough pace for Kiron to keep up with her. "What are you looking forward to trying? " She asks looking around taking in the area and sights like a deer stays alert. People were already wandering about doing their daily business,  buying foods and other life things. A few of the stalls had amazing looking food also as though a gourmet made it him or herself. Rima's mouth water just at the sight if them they all looked so tasty.

Kiron smirked a bit. "Well if its anything like our first night together, I would love to try you again." Even with a broken leg Kiron was still able to keep his charming self.

The town was abnormally busier than normal. Although it was understandable mainly due to the food festival. Chefs from all over Le'Ranna came to this tiny little town to show off their exquisite meals twice a year. They were starting to enter the colder months, thus the chefs prepared meals tailored to the season. Kiron never felt so... normal in his life ever before.

Even though this was a festival, each chef demanded at least a small incentive to provide for the festival. Some were cheaper with their portions than others, none of it really mattered to Kiron. It was more so just to make Rima happy. Being a soldier and living a rotten life was all that Kiron really knew. Now in just these past couple years he had finally met his parents, gone on an extravagant adventure, and met the love of his life. Being normal to others, was something completely different for him.

Kiron grabbed Rima by the wrist and yanked her towards his chest. He gently embraced her and gave a quick kiss on the top of head. Thank you.

Roma smiles hugging Kiron back before releasing him after a few moment hug which she enjoyed. His comment of their first night together made her blush a bit on the inside but it was rather nice to see Kiron still his normal self other wise. Charming and nice at the same time.

"What do you want to try?" Rima motions around the area wanting Kiron to try something of his choosing also. Everything looked so good but at the same time there wasn't possibly enough time to try it all within a day. It was nice to forget about the anti mage laws and oppression for a few days as well. Still she made a list of what to try to make over the weeks or day... Or hours in her case. Nothing could possibly go wrong with all this food either. All to food was going into someone or something one way or another.

Kiron limped away from Rima to go find a peculiar cylindrical looking type of food he had never seen before. Kiron had only really heard about it from overhearing Connlaothians when he was younger. "Let's try this dish from Yoreiq. It looks like some form of... sushi? Is that what's called?" Kiron looked to the young chef with a warm smile. 

The chef was all to pleased to show the couple his dish. "Y-Yes Sir, please excuse common, still learning. This is rainfish with manola seed rice wrapped in coral kelp."

"Rima come taste this, it's looks and smells great." Kiron popped a piece of this sushi into his mouth. He never had anything close to this exotic fish before, even on his trip to the Labyrinth. It was absolutely delicious. The mix of flavors exploded into his mouth setting off fireworks at every corner.

"You're my first customer, so this be free of teh charge."

Kiron with his eye's bubbling from tasting this magnificent dish spoke lightly: "Thank you. It's sooo good. RIMA TRY THIS ASAP!"

The sushi was gone in a blink of an eye. It melted in her mouth like butter did in a hot pan!  It was so amazing words can't describe how it tasted.  "Holly cow that is amazing!" Rima pipes smiling. The fish was just right and it reminded her of their time on the ship. All that sea food and potatoes brought back memories,  "Remind me of our time on the ship. " Rima says quietly remembering their acqutences and friends they meet on the ship.

"Maybe if we have time later on Kiron we could come back here and buy a good bit of this for dinner later on. " Rima whispers tobhik quietly not wanting to get the chefs hopes up. She alwaysbwas conscious about that.

Ahh the ship. What a wonderful time of just absolute insanity. Good times. Kiron chuckled as he remembered his time on SeRimas. He still couldn't believe he built that giant thing a day. Love makes you do crazy things.

"Oh, we're definitely getting some for later. Thank you chef."

"Any time."

Kiron waddled over to another tent where another chef was flipping meats, vegetables, and other ingredients into a giant pan. He made it look as if the individual ingredients were performing gymnastics. It was truly a spectacle.

"Rima over here! Come take a look!"
