Melisande was confused. There's nothing particularly special about this statement. It was simply a fact. Melisande was confused because there was something that should have been with her that suddenly wasn't. And she'd have sworn she'd just had it in her bag.

She was't alarmed. Not yet. Mostly, she was disgruntled. All the other papers were here. And that one should have been in front of all the others. So what could have happened to it?

Her answer came in a rush of warm, clean wind. As her hair moved with the currents, a very important paper breezed by right in front of her face. Whilst time was not affected in the slightest, to Melisande it actually felt like it moved in slow motion. And perhaps an observant person could gradually see the color easing from her face as realizing gently settled in. Before she shrieked in quite the alarm and took off running.

"Someone! That paper! Catch it!"

Meli didn't actually wonder why she yelled. She was pretty sure no one would pay attention to her. She was merely a commoner after all. It wasn't like she could offer them anything for their aid. Still... desperation talked. And the further it got away, the more frantic she got. Pretty soon, she was nearly bowling people over so as not to lose sight of that very important paper.

This wasn't Shax's first visit to the seaside. In fact over the years it was one of many he spent beside aspiring mages during the time which he personally attempted magic. Yet to say the least, that being unsuccessful was some time ago. Now simply taking to explore a world of color he neglected in the last 20years, Shax sought once again bask in the warm rays. Unfortunately things weren't nearly as calm as he remembered.

Here just as he'd stare skyward in bliss reality returned to him. In an second of compulsion Shax would pluck something which basically drifted into his mouth. A fluttering piece of white which by chance was saved from becoming ashes. Before he had truly realized what it was the male found a voice shrilled over the crowd of chatter around him coming to clarity. A demand for help which without truly intending to he filled.

Clutching the feeble piece of dead teeth in between two metallic claws Shax had stopped in place. Guiding both fiery eyes over fixtures of word he couldn't really make out the male drake turned on the spot looking for it's owner. Pivoting on his heel the chain mail bag held atop his back swung clanging with it's contents being of similar nature. With his tail following suit Shax came to nearly trip some poor soul. One which he could only mutter an apology to before returning to finding Melisande in his blunder. The only distinct being the express wore on her face left him to speak out in question.

"This is yours? Correct?"
