· Physical Description ·Keithia is a small, slender nymph. She could pass for human were it not her larger than normal eyes and the slender, bone white horns that curve from her stark, black hair. Her eyes match her hair - a charcoal gray - and is another thing that can make her off putting to someone that would find her... Odd.
In truth, she's small, soft, and fair. Brought into existence to tend to a glen, she used to be a vibrant, earthy color until she was torn from her home and her connection to it was severed. Hence her dark, nearly monochrome coloration.
Should her horns ever be cut off - and they have been - they'll regrow overnight. They are a standard, diminutive size. An extension of who she is and quite sensitive - not weapons.
· Personality ·For the longest of time, Keithia and the nymph in her glen were content, happy, and quite innocent to the ways of anyone else
mortal. They'd not come into contact with any, so they did not fear the hunters and slavers when they arrived. She watched many of her family die as they were pulled from the glen - and only she survived the severing of the ties to her land. It's left her demure, quiet, and careful.
Her time as a slave, used for her faint aura of land regeneration, only served to enforce the 'speak when spoken to, seen not heard' rule. She's terrified of pain and will do whatever she can to get away from, and not experience it, ever again. She is pacifistic and has no idea
how to fight. The idea of it simply doesn't exist in her, neither does the concept of
being violent, even though she's witnessed plenty in her life.
To Keithia, mortal humans and 'people' are monsters. Terrifying creatures who came into her life and have done nothing but mistreated, hurt, and destroyed everything she's ever known.
· Magic / Abilities ·As a land nymph, anywhere Keithia stays, the land responds to her. Plants become greener, healthier, the land seems to accept plants more so, and if the ground is dry, you can expect rain. She cannot control this ability, though she can certainly
channel it and, much like casting any spell, help the land 'heal' around her. The distance is not far - a quarter mile - and the real effects are best expressed over a long time. Months and years.
She can do minor illusions, but they are easily broken if she's distressed. They require her complete concentration and she can only project to one or two people at a time. They are extremely life like, including sounds, smells, and touch.
