Physical Description

Personality  Always unsure of herself, Ohna tends to keep to herself but is also one to always seek approval. Internally, she is frustrated for always being 'forgotten'; and now she has to deal with some sort of magic that she has no idea what to make of. She also seems to be a bit of an empath, and tends to feel what others are feeling, even if she'd rather not.

Magic/Abilities The ability to control plant life and seek/ sense energies of others

Relationships Her family is one of minor nobility, and she, the youngest daughter of 5 kids (3 brothers in the military and an older sister who gets most of the attention due to how she managed and WHO she managed to marry)
She never really had many close friends growing up, so she's a bit naive and a little hungry (even if a bit frightened) for true acceptance and friendship- something close...
She was always treated much more differently than all of her siblings in her family.

History
Not imposing by any means, nor the type of girl that initially sticks out in the crowd- and that's something she uses to her advantage, for Ohna is used to being ignored in her family as most of her brothers had gone off to war, and her 'betrothed' having died early on in the war- It became easy for this young woman to sneak out of the house from time to time to help support the rebel cause. Her older sister, who one could say is much prettier than Ohna over how popular she is among the lower nobility in which they are from, often times is the center of attention for how prominent she has married.

Although often times lonely, Ohna found herself seeking solace at the libraries of Uthlyn to give herself some semblance of purpose and to find a better use of her time. It was a great escape during all the hostilities of the war, and Uthlyn seemed (somewhat) unaffected as scholars went about their business as usual.

As Ohna grew older, and found herself traveling further out onto her family's property to simply 'get away', came upon her magics on accident- and had no idea how to cope. Most traditional magics come out from fingertips in sprays of fire or ice, or any other elemental fanfare, but hers? Ohna's were much more subtle, and not quite something she understood. Infact, she is still unsure exactly what she can do- but it appears as if she has some strange connection to the plant life all around her.

Once she was able to figure out what sort of powers she might have had, she began to study plant life diligently while at the library. She started spending longer hours and days there away from her family, isolating herself and fueling her own paranoia. It wasn't until one desperate night she reached out to a stranger who brought her in with welcome arms to a small rebel group.

Ohna found herself simply listening in to what these rebels had to say and eventually becoming a trusted member of their small 'call to arms'. Although she herself did not necessarily condone violence or the war itself, she could sympathize with these mage rebels as she tried to find purpose and just exactly what her magic was all about.

It wasn't until it was too late did Ohna realize this group of rebels was seeking to attack, and she- being someone who had a hard time of saying 'No', quickly found herself getting caught up with a plan to attack the small military group training in the northern valley from Uthlyn. In fact, her position in society helped to gather them information- even as unwillingly as she was and as guilty as she felt the whole time doing it.

Not sure how she could find a way to get out of helping this attack (as the entire rebel group knew her whole family and some members seem to.. not exactly like any of them), she was afraid they might turn against them and use what information they had to harm them (especially since her family outwardly supported the Grand Duke and his decisions); so in order to find 'help'- Ohna sought out a fortune teller.

The meeting was a strange one. At first, Ohna wasn't even sure what to make of the strange old lady and her garbled, foreign accent; however, as the woman proposed to read her fortunate, she became completely animated and warned Ohna about all the death she would see. The woman also warned her not to touch anyone- for fear that perhaps her power was like that of the touch killer powers Duke Harmond was famed for. But in the same incensed curl of story smoke, she saw something else- and was not sure what it meant. But the touch would be permanent, some connection from skin... a genuine touch... a bond... uniting two unknowns who are enemies that never wanted to be.
And death.

The old woman warned Ohna, whom she admitted to she was still a virgin, to stay that way, incase the vision was about that so intimate a touch- But whatever it was, the woman was only certain about a strong 'connection' coming from it- and she could only fear the worse, considering how much death and chaos she saw in the smokes.

Even more terrified than before, Ohna found herself wearing as much clothing on her skin as possible to protect herself, - all the while still unable to find herself a good way out of joining the rebel cause to 'attack' these knights of the grand duke personally.

How had she gotten herself so caught up in this madness? It seemed, as the group went on the move, the visions of the fortunate teller would slowly come into fruition...
But what was the fear about 'touch'- and 'connection'? She was not used to this tradition the fortunate teller spoke of- of old blood in her veins, and ones that might awaken in another. That it was strong and ancient magic, and was the reason her powers seemed to connect her to life around her. However, this magic was only spoken of in spells and songs, and the fortune teller knew not much about it and it's truths.

What was this ancient connecting power the woman feared? She was unsure if it was meant to be a good or bad sign- but to Ohna, after hearing the terrors of all the death and seeing the visions in the teller's smoke...
She most definitely feared the worst- even as she was now forced to go off on her own to help set the catalyst for this rebel groups attack...
