OOC: S'okay

IC: The loud clatter of a dinner bell rung through the house, the impatient maid wasn't too pleased at their late arrival. Malkari was sitting straight, with a patient smile across his features. He was quite suprised to be able to get out of the room without the pair noticing, quite lucky.

The maid humpfed and walked into the kitchen, watching as the cook began to ready the meals on the plates.

They heard the bell and luckily they weren't to far off. Kaori simply followed where she thought the noise was coming from, until she heard the dinner wear clattering and she found the dinning room. She was about to walk in when she realized that Kyla had stopped so she turned around to find her sister fiddling with her skirts. Kaori couldn't understand how she could stand those things, they had no practicle use what so ever.

Finally seeing Kaori's impatient look Kyla smiled and entered the room walking gracefully, as if she was born into a family as wealthy as this, where as Kaori walked with less delicate steps, she had never been the graceful one. When they reached the table Kyla curtsied saying to Malkari, "I'm sorry sir, we were off exploring and got lost." Kyla looked back at Kaori giving her  a you better follow my lead and bow look, that Kaori blantently ignored. If he bowed she would. Kyla gave a small glare before turning back to Malkari and missing Kaori's smirk. It was just to funny for her to pass up a chance at agrivating her sister over manners. Even so once her sister had turned around Kaori had bowed her head in a silent hello to Malkari hoping that he would understand that she wasn't trying to be rude about not bowing.

OOC: Yeah! I cought a new muse and she helped me get this post out! Whoopa!

His smile brightened as they entered, glancing to the kitchen door to check if the maid was about to interrupt any-time-soon. Nope. He stood from his chair and bowed himself to the pair as a male would of his stature, walking to a single chair and pulling it out for one, the second was opposite, both on the thin width of the long table.

"Glad you made it ladies" he started. "How are you liking it so far?"

Assuming one would take the offer of the chair, he would push it neatly in and move around the table to the second chair, and do again. Assuming Kaori would not do it all herself.

ooc - yay!

Anonymous

They both smiled at him as he bowed and said that he was happy to have them there. When he pulled out the first chair Kyla gracefully sat down with a nodd in aknowledgement, but before he could pull out Kaori's chair she was smirking at him holding his chair out for him. She knew that she wasn't supposed to but come on it was hilarious. Kyla on the other hand had no such thoughts her expression obviously showing shock as the two of them waited for Malkari's reaction.

Anonymous

He smirked a moment and moved to the front of his chair, waiting for her to push it under him so he could seat himself.

"Thank you." he chuckled, she would certainly be the more suprising of the two.

He watched Kaori more than the other - since she was more likely to get into trouble, but spoke out for the pair.

"Find anything interesting?"

Anonymous

He moved to the front of the chair and she pushed it in for him easily moving to her own seat and impaitently swinging her legs back and forth. He thanked her for pulling out the chair with a slight laugh and she smirked also seeing the humor in the situation.

When she was done she noticed that Malkari was watching her slightly more than Kyla and figured that he had already pinned her for the trouble maker, which was good. She liked a challenge. Finally he directed a question at the two asking if they found anything interesting.

Being the sister to most likely keep a decent conversation Kyla started with an excited glint in her eye saying, "Yes actually.." She was cut off by the are-you-that-incredably-stupid look, and only faultered for a split second before saying, "we found some very interesting architecture here. Who is your architect?" She smiled, most people wouldn't have even noticed the mental conversation between the two sisters within that split second, but you never know if that's true for Malkari.

He didn't click for the most-part of the twos' connection, not telepathic, but sisterly. Although he knew what she was initially going to mention.

"Actually, i did mos-" cut off by the enterance of the maid, taking in a single tray and followed by the cook.

"Ah, dinner" he smiled, waiting patiently as the maid placed his meal carefully infront of him "Same time tomorrow?" he questioned, the cook placed the girls' meals down as the maid spoke to the gentleman.

"Yes.. No doubt i'll have some mess to clean" she obviously reffered to these two girls sat at the table. "Good night." she said rather warmly as she began for the exit.

The cook however left for the kitchen once more.

It sounded like he was about to say that he did most of it himself, when the cook and the maid came in and gave them there food. Kyla smiled in a silent thanks to the two while Kaori eyed the food oddly, not that it didn't look delicious but it actually looked like food. Even though she was absorbed in her examination she also caught what the maid had said about the two of them being messy. If she wants messy she'll get messy.

Kaori had a sly smirk playing on her lips, and Kyla knowing her to well gave the you-better-not look, at which Kaori only smiled. It was amazing how much you can say in body language, especially with someone you've lived with your whole life. Kaori's smile became innocent as she decided to wait for the perfect moment to strike. Hey, in all technicalities she had never been told that one of the rules were not to start food fights. Most kids, such as Kyla, would take that as an unsaid rule, but not Kaori if you didn't tell her it was a rule it wasn't in her rule book. She was definatly the trouble child.

Malkari watched as they all headed off, leaving the three to eat, he looked over the table, noting Kaoris grin and Kyla looking across to her, he didn't think much of it.

"please, eat." he gestured, picking up the salt and pepper and seasoning what he had, lifting the knife and fork with his hands and starting on the dish

Anonymous

Malkari told them that they could eat, and as if on que the two of them lifted there forks and knives. Kyla daintily cut the food on her plate, meanwhile Kaori viciously attacked hers, and eventhough Kyla didn't want to she couldn't help but laugh when Kaori gave a frusterated sigh when she couldn't get one part to cut. Finally it cut of r her and she gave a small victory shout, which only made Kyla laugh more and Kaori smile at her sister.

Kaori took a few bites eating almost ravenously while Kyla ate very lady like. One time Kaori dropped a piece on the floor and got out of her chair to pick it up. When she emerged from under the table with the peice in her hand she gave her devilish smile to both Malkari and Kyla her arm ready to throw it at Kyla. Kaori was testing him and they both knew it. She wanted to see what he'd do, and with that in mind she tosed it at her sister who thought about throwing it back but new better. Instead they both looked at Malkari for a reaction.

Anonymous

He smirked as Kaori fought with her food, giving cheers that made him chuckle. In all his years, he had never encountered anything with food like that, he watched as she picked up the piece that dropped, almost expecting her to eat it, but to his suprise, she lobbed it at her sister. He laughed out at their games, catching breath "Don't do that when the maid is about" he warned, wiping a tear from his eye.

Anonymous

When he was laughing with them and his only response to the food fight was to say to watch out for the maid Kyla threw it back at her sister starting a food fight between the two of them. Kyla may be the more mature one, but she's still only a kid and loves to have fun. So they were throwing food about careful to catch as much as they can so that the maid wouldn't know when Kyla accendentally threw something right towards Malkari, Kaori began laughing, as Kyla stood there in shock seeing what he would do.

Anonymous

He had been laughing so hard, he didn't notice as something was thrown his way, catching it in mid-air in his right hand as he stopped laughing, looking at the piece in his hand before standing abruptly, placing it on his place "If - you'll excuse me ladies.." he nodded, walking out of the room at a fair pace.
He felt stupid for showing off, even if he didn't mean to, catching it at the last second - with his eyes closed at the time no doubt! He reentered the "forbidden" room once more, closing the door quickly behind him.

Anonymous

They were both amazed at how he had caught it, and Kaori was just about to ask him how he did that when he asked to be excused and abruptly left the table. They both looked at each other confused before Kyla asked, "Do you think we should follow him?" Kaori smiled at her sisters devilish idea before frowning and saying, "No. I have a feeling he'll catch us. Let's finish eating and go visit our dragon." Kyla smiled. Although she didn't like go behind on orders she couldn't seven sa how excited she was about the dragon.

Once they had scopped all the food they wanted into there mouths they left the dinning room half afraid of what would happen when the cook found out. Or at least Kyla was afraid. So they walked quickly and quietly up to the door slowly opening it.

(I'm sorry, but due to some family problems I'll be scarce for the month of agust and perhanps some of september. I'll try to get on at least once every other day, but I won't be on as much as normal. I will try though, there's just a lot going on right now. Thanks for understanding.)

"Stupid!" he slapped his head with the palm of his hand, undressing behind the single standing dressing veil that was put to one side near a cabinet, glanicng over the treature that was strewn across the room.
He shook his head off once unrobed, walking out to the center of the room to begin shifting, steadily turning to a dragon form as his wings sprouted and he fell to four legs, his head and neck stretching as he changed. He was about 9ft long or so, about the size of a drake before changing size, turning about so he was directed the correct way in the hall that could only fit him in the right direction.

After a quick and confined stretch, he laid on the floor, setting his maw near the door infront of it, alot closer than last time as he yawned.

Anonymous

They heard the dragon yawn as they were about to walk in and Kaori looked at her sister as if saying 'you can still back out.' Kyla just gave a small nodd signalling that they should go in anyway, weather or not she did go Kaori would have still went. When they were inside they saw the dragon and Kyla gasped seeing that it's maw was close to the door. Mearly feet from her.

Anonymous

Shortly after they had spotted where it was, it had closed it's mouth - easily able to stand a tall male without him touching the roof of it's mouth. The dragon exhaled the breath, capable of knocking an uprepared person over. From the position of its' head, even if it was awake, he would not be able to see them.

Anonymous

His exhaling breathe did indeed knock over the unexpecting Kyla, although Kaori who had braced herself quickly picked her sister up off of the ground. Once that was done Kaori inched closer ignoring the stop-now hand signals coming from Kyla. Finally she reached it's neck and began petting the hide smiling. She looked back at Kyla who looked worried but wanted to do the same, she had more control and common sense though, and instead sat in front of the door watching her sister act in her opinion like a fool.

Anonymous

The large eye lazyily opened, curling a gaze towards the small form of Kaori, he thought she was a little silly to do that to a dragon she didn't know, and of course Kyla knew that.
He chapped his mouth, his tongue extending in another yawn.

(sorry for short post)

Anonymous

Kaori backed up slowly as it's eye's opened not sure if it would become teritorial. She was sure that it knew they were there, and hadn't attacked yet so she figured it at least wasn't sent to gaurd this room. Still cautious she walked extreamly slowly with her hand out towards the dragon palm up for it to sniff as you do with most animals. You let them get used to your sent, and wait to see if you have your approval.

(bleh. I'm museless right now, and that was a really crappy post. Sorry.)
