Caspian slunk surprisingly lithely through the pulsing crowd. Her voluptuous frame was unexpectedly graceful as she strode providently into the town, parting the crowd around her. Her mismatched eyes, one blue, one grey, and her long white hair drew many odd glances. A single violet gemstone shone at her ear; the magical amulet that turned her form cecaelia to a human.
On the edges of her consciousness, she felt the familiar gnaw of the Other Side, and she stopped to lean against the wall of a bookshop, massaging her temples.
She let her eyes wander through the crowd. Her attention flickered as the Other Side grew more and more insistent inside her head, tugging impatiently at her.
She waved the feeling away and nonchalantly watched the passers-by, pondering the events the day held for her.

( OoC. I used the opening from my old, dead White Rabbit that no-one answered, I just figured it was an appropriate intro.)

Things were still hectic with the Commander missing and enough soldiers were out searching, Nathanial was stuck patrolling the city. Really, he would much rather be out looking for her, but he was stuck here. He hadn't been on a patrol for a while. Knights tended to have other things they were doing.

Sighing, the young man ran his hand back through his short hair. It was starting to get a little long. He should get it cut soon. Or there was the option of growing it out more, really look like Dore. Though sometimes people still mixed them up, even with the different hair cuts.

He noticed a chubby woman leaning against a wall, rubbing her head, then started to scan the crowd. Could be just people watching, but Nathanial wanted to make sure she wasn't a cutpurse.

It wasn't hard to make his way through the crowd and he gave her a bright smile, "You alright there Ma'am?"

Caspian felt the sight flicker then dissipate as a voice cut through her mind. She looked up, her mismatched eyes aggressive, but softening upon sight of the young man. She stood up.
"Yes, I'm fine. Not causing any trouble, just simply suffering form a headache,"she said smoothly, adjusting the hem of her dress, a white, floaty thing she acquired "accidentally" on a trip through one of the more Northerly cities. It was entirely impractical, but she didn't feel temperature extremes as much as humans and enjoyed the fact that she needed no heavy clothes.

"Ah, well. That is a shame to hear then." Nathanial wasn't sure he totally believed her, but he smiled anyway, his face friendly and pleasant. He didn't want to be insulting if she actually wasn't up to anything. No need to be rude, "Can I offer you any assistance with your headache? I can escort you home or to a less crowded area?"

He held one hand out, the skin the dark brown typical to the people native to Adela, "Maybe getting away from the crowds would help?"

[Sorry my post is so delayed D; I've been doing Higher English holiday work.]

Caspian considered for a moment before accepting his invitation, placing her pale hand into his dark one and smiling beatifically.
"That sounds ideal. Crowded places, crowded mind,"she shrugged, feeling Arik's laughter inside her pocket.

"Of course." Nathaniel smiled pleasantly back at her, giving a slight bow as he took her hand, lightly drawing her away from the wall. He wasn't overly fond of woman in general, most of them useless creatures. But no need to be rude, "If I am to escort you somewhere, I should give you my name. I am Sir Nathaniel Wynn."
